- Bolliger and Mabillard, or B&M, is the best roller coaster manufacturer in my opinion. This is a ranking of all 36 B&M rides I’ve ridden. Is Fury 325 the best? What is the worst? Find out in this video.

i think the re-paint made kraken smooth bc my last ride was re-painted and didnt have a problem with the roughness.

Hey, just found your channel by clicking on this video. I watched this video and some of your others. I really love your channel. The thing I love is that in the comments you don't hate on any of the coasters.. I love it how you respect other peoples' opinions about coasters!! That's the biggest problem with other videos similar to this... the comments are completely chaos with people arguing why a coaster is better than another coaster. The biggest thing I respect in this video is where you put Leviathan, I 100% agree. Leviathan has always been a coaster to get bashed in comment sections, but really it is an incredible ride. Leviathan and Fury are both #1's for me. They're both great coasters for their own reasons. I hate how people always argue over tiny specific details rather than looking at the overall picture. Life is too short to be making such silly arguments. Just enjoy the rides and have fun!! Great video!!
Thank you! I try my best to acknowledge differing viewpoints and I’m happy that somebody else likes Leviathan a lot.
While I'm personally an Intamin fan, I love a good B&M too. Just got done at Universal and Hulk was glass smooth for me. If they laid of the brakes mid-course and kept the speed and intensity from the launch through the whole thing, I feel like Hulk would move up a few spots. Def pumped to hit up King's Island in '23 and go on Banshee and Diamondback. Raptor and Mantis (now Rougaru) at Cedar Point topped my charts pre-2000, so without knowing manufacturers at the time, B&M used to be my fave. Just love Millennium Force, Velocicoaster, and Maverick sooooo much.
Both are wonderful manufacturers.
Silver Bullet is my first B&M invert, its fun, smooth and not too intense, the drop is shallow then you get a loop, cobra roll, zero G roll, 2 corkscrews then the most intense part the final helix over the lake, Silver Bullet often ranks low on peoples list but I think its a fun ride and a perfect start for those getting into inverts
I live in Charlotte, and have only been to Carowinds, I LOVE fury, I feel spoiled living next door!! hahaha, fury has definitely sparked my new found coaster obsession, would love to get the chance to ride all of these one day!

Hulk is my only B&M credit rn but I loved it when I rode it last month. The launch is by far the best part of the ride. The inversions are snappy and the ride is overall so intense! It is a little rough but I didn't get a headache so I still loved it.

I might be the only person on Earth who has Banshee as my Top B&M, just over Fury 325. I love B&M, those seats and the clamshell restraints are easily the most comfortable ride experience in the industry 👍🤘🔥

@@ThemeParkAvenue oh yeah man, B&M is the tits! They may not always be as insane as Intamin or RMC but they destroy them in reliability and comfort, and at the end of the day you can't enjoy a coaster if it isn't operating! (I'm looking at you Lightning Rod!)

Yep. Sit in the back row! It's my home park and still my favorite ride there. (Goliath is a close 2nd)
I love the Dominator hype. It was my first big coaster and it’s such a fantastic ride. Definitely super underrated

I am not sure, but I think it is bowl-liger and mab-ee-ard or similar.
You've gotta get yourself to Six Flags Fiesta Texas. 3 B&Ms: Goliath (a Batman clone), Dr. Diabolical's Cliffhanger (my favorite dive coaster despite the shorter height because of the great theming and beyond vertical drop), and Superman Krypton Coaster (my favorite floorless model).
I went there in July, but it was before Cliffhanger opened. I loved Superman though.
I’ve been on kraken and everyone says it’s the best and I’m asking myself what I’m missing. Medusa always looked better and I’m glad this is a very good list

My B&M credits are Montu, Kumba, Kraken and Hulk and one defunct Dueling Dragons which was not on your list. I absolutely love them all but Montu has always been my favorite along with dueling dragons because I prefer inverts and wish we had more of them in Florida! I'll be visiting SeaWorld for the first time in over 10 years later this month and will definitely be adding Manta to my list but I have no interest in riding Mako, I hate steep drops and air time hills lol I can't wait to ride the Kraken again tho!
I never got to ride Dueling Dragons sadly. I love Montu though and it is fantastic.
You should go to Hershey and ride candymonium it’s my favorite coaster

Stand up coasters were the rage in the early 90s and some of B&Ms first roller coasters. I also enjoyed vortex At carowinds.
Nice! I knew they were early projects for the company and I find them underrated.
@@ThemeParkAvenue if you look, it seems about 90% of the B&M coasters ever built are still in operation today.
Weirdly enough I rode green lantern in 2020 and expected it to be rough and was doing it for the credit (not realizing I rode it when it was Chang) and I found it amazingly fun and pretty smooth. Idk if I got a rare ride but I loved it

If you ever get a chance to get to Dorney Park, you might like Talon. It's my 2nd favorite B&M inverted, behind Montu.

If the drop on dive machines and flyers are what you enjoy most, definitely get to Alton Towers.

Wait, have you not been to Hersheypark yet? They’ve got 2 B&Ms now, an invert and a hyper. They probably aren’t top 10 worthy, but still fun, smooth rides.
2023 will be the year to check out Hershey. Once Wildcat’s Revenge opens, Hershey will probably have one of the top 5 roller coaster lineups in the country.
I have been to Hersheypark, but I went about a month after I made this video. I think Candymonium could be top 15 or even 10 and Great Bear would be among the weaker inverts.

Absolutely. Hulk is a fantastic ride.
Just a warning to whoever you get to riding Firebird, RIDE IN THE VERY BACK ROW TO THE FAR LEFT. every other row has horrible head hanging. in the back the only bad head banging moments is the bottom of the first drop and the transition from the corcscrew to the left turn.

There is no good seat. Sorry. Tear the ride down. Apocalypse was better, at least with stand-ups you're expecting a headbang....but I say tear it down and use that land for small dive coaster or a relocated boomerang. (I'm honestly not expecting a compact raptor or anything else good for SFA).

I am curious where you would place Silver Bullet from Knotts Berry Farm. Its the smoothest roller coaster i've ever been on, and I think its a perfect layout, all right over the water too.
That was sadly closed when I went so I don’t know for sure.

That was actually closed when I went to Knott's, but I imagine it would rank near Batman the Ride at Great Adventure.

I have been there, but the first time was 12 years ago and the second was after this video was made.
If you truely got a trim less ride on intimidator you’re so lucky. I’m there every other weekend and want true trims off for once to see what it can really do.

After riding them back to back a few times this past week. I would put Orion ahead of Diamondback..
I've only ridden Batman: The Dark Knight (Six Flags New England), Dragon Khan and Shambhala.
Obviously, of those, Shambhala could only be #1. It's maybe my #3 overall coaster. Its only real shortcoming is that the ending is anticlimactic--there's a midcourse brake run very near the end and the couple of hills after that are anemic. But it has the best first drop of any coaster I've ridden.
I actually enjoy Batman: The Dark Knight and do not find it rough. The OTSRs could headbang if you're short.
Dragon Khan impresses me as one of the most intense coasters I've ever ridden. Objectively, it's surely a better ride than Batman: TDK. But I think 8 of those early B&M inversions in rapid succession were just a little too much for my old body. I came off dizzy and nearly nauseated.
Batman is much better based on my 2022 ride. Still low tier but decent.
(Dragon Khan is sometimes called "Spanish Kumba," but I haven't ridden Kumba)
@@ThemeParkAvenue ...I think the main thing one could fault Batman: TDK for is the lack of any "it" factor to make it stand out in the modern coaster world. It's a floorless with 5 inversions, but you kind of need more than that to be truly impressive, and it's stuck in a supporting role behind a crazy RMC conversion and one of the world's most famed hypers.
Oh, I also love B&M.

Do you think they will convert Green Lantern, Georgia Scorcher, Vortex, and Riddler’s Revenge into floorless coaster?
The only one I can see that happening to is Vortex. Riddler and Green Lantern are in parks that already have floorless coasters and Georgia Scorcher is popular and got renovated recently.
How do you the SeaWorld Surf Coaster will turn out?

The best B&M I’ve been on is probably leviathan but I’m hoping I can get down to carowinds this summer and ride fury.

The yellow ones are closer to the bottom, but I only had footage of the Over Georgia and Magic Mountain ones, which both happen to be blue. That is why there was blue footage for the yellow one.

Why doesn’t Disney have any B&M coasters?
Technically there’s a B&M based on a Disney character, but Universal has that ride. Disney, why not make your own Hulk or even a B&M coaster themed after Anastasia?
They don’t tend to make large thrilling coasters, and the ones they do are typically Vekoma because Disney has worked with them before.

I don’t know what the “subpar floorless” you’re referring to is, but no justification is perfect. Also since making this I would definitely rank Dominator higher, is was held down by not being as intense as other but it’s got even better for me recently.

How are you gonna compare Kraken, a SEAWORLD coaster, where they are literally known for how well themed their rides are, to Scream, a literal parking lot coaster. You lost me there chief.
Theming is not everything. As a matter of fact, it means very little to me. Also, just because a chain is known for theming doesn’t mean they won’t have some duds in that department.

@@budmancoasters the ride’s layout is identical. A new paint job (which I have seen in person), doesn’t change my outlook on the ride that much.
@@ThemeParkAvenue Personally, I don't find much fun on floorless layouts. But, especially with that first drop and the surprising amount of airtime it delivers in the back seat. Coupled with how much nicer the ride and its area looks now that it has been repainted. I think it's a underrated experience because of the better rides surrounding it.

@@ThemeParkAvenue I am so glad to see some leviathan representation. People tend to overlook leviathan because fury is so much bigger and Orion is so much newer. But I found leviathan it’s my favourite roller coaster and it’s awesome. I’m glad to have it at my home park.

Unfortunately, I haven’t ridden Apollo’s Chariot. Every B&M that wasn’t ranked is in that position because I hadn’t ridden it at the time I made this video.
