Bring me the horizon saved me from possible suicide back in college of 2011-2012. Which impacted me in such a way I feel like a grew with their own evolution. In 2019 I used Happy Song to deadlift 705 lbs and 556lbs squat on comp. You can say I have a unique place in my heart for all of their achievements in the music industry
Absolutely love their older harder stuff but their new albums grow on me too. React to the live version of Doomed by BMTH at the Royal Albert Hall, crazy performance.
Yes love that version. Getting all the crowd hyped up. Just his scream in that 1 went a bit. Eeeek. 😮 But it's fine. The rest of the concert was excellent.. love this concert. Wish I'd been to it. So jealous
@@djbazinet8758YES, IDKWTS is at the top of my fave song of all time, any artists. Hardly ever see anyone, even BMTH fans, talk about it. Might be because it was, to my knowledge anyway, never played live by the band. It was the last track on Amo, and at first no one cared for Amo, of course many have recanted their dislike for Amo so...
I'm so happy you guys liked it, one of my favourite songs/albums of theirs!! Hope you gonna check out even more of their songs in the future :) "Ludens" or their new single "LosT" would be amazing!
This song is even better live. One of the best live shows I ever went to they have a sweet light show and they had cool visuals on stage with performers dancing and doing choreography to this song. Bring me the horizon makes alot of great catchy songs they are super popular right now and killing it for good reason. It's crazy they used to be a deathcore band but doing way better in this genre.
love seeing y’all react to this! Doomed live at Royal Albert Hall is one of the best live performances of all time in my personal opinion. has a full orchestra and choir with it. definitely recommend!
Idk they might dig it, the lyrics are super creative and fun in that tune and it definitely hits hard rhythmically. The band oozes swag on pray for plagues imo
I was right up by the stage at their show last year, and it was one of the most amazing experiences I've ever had. Such amazing performers and stage productions.
How old are you? Not to be weird. But I've noticed a resurgence of bands I used to listen to in high school (2013). I heard my little sister, who is in high school now listening to Pierce the veil. I was shocked lol.
This is the album that got me into BMTH, but ive loved everything theyve done since, and of course their early stuff. LosT, their newest, is really awesome too. Theyre also awesome live
That drop into the womp womp synth part at 7:19 is where Oli loves to hype up the crowd, he’ll shit talk to provoc them to open pits if not calling for a wall of death, having the crowd hold until the drop into the breakdown at 7:49 The crowds go FCKING mental at that drop and will keep up the chaos until the end. Absolutely an intense and incredible song to play live 🖤🤘
Ryan and George -- you two all always have fantastic analysis. This was my first time hearing this band. I like every type of music - for real - so I'm happy to watch you on a wide variety of genres. George went one step deeper than I did in his lyrics analysis -- the fact that it could be taken sarcastically - thanks for making me think in a different way. I was thinking of being at Tracks, an old club in DC, hearing an industrial song called "Join in the Chant" by Nitzer Ebb. When when my friends and I sang/screamed along at the top of our lungs, it was transcendent. This was 19990. In 1993, our song was "Hip Hop Hurray" by Naughty By Nature in a Baltimore club. You could not go into a club and not hear that tune. There is such a release in singing along and dancing poorly but freely, as you both noted. You all both bring unique perspectives, and I'm going to keep watching. Thank you, Ryan and Goerge!
This album is the best they have front to back for someone who's not super into much heavier music, keeps the listenability of alt rock music, with some of the grit and vibes of metal, super enjoyable album, doomed and avalanche are some of my other fav tracks off this album
At this point Lost in Vegas is a legit Music critic, specially for rock to metal. Of course they will have their preference, but they do understand already what the goal of certain record and can objectively pin point things that do work for what the record is trying to do, wether they like it or not.
skid row - into another mudvayne - forgetting to remember, happy all that remains - this calling, six animals as leaders - cascade perfect circle - brenya a few of my staylists
Let's go! Glad you guys liked this track, such a hit. You should check out tracks like Doomed, MANTRA and Teardrops. One of the greatest bands of the 21st century EASILY.
You guys have actually hit some of their “safer” stuff. Psyched to see you guys continue with BMTH. Hoping to see some of the crazier stuff like Kingslayer and the newer ones like Lost and so on.
I always love watching people's reaction to their "Count Your Blessings" stuff when they start with their new stuff. I hope they get to it at some point (even though I know they won't like it lol)
Same dude that’s what I want. Having been a fan since CYB it’s great seeing people check them out but it’s always the new shit. I think there is a hell would be a good mix. Don’t go or blessed with a curse, even suicide season from the previous album are all some of my favorites.
@@joebk44 I was only really into them during CYBs. I don't hate them or anything like that, but they just don't do music for me anymore, and that's fine. Although "Can't You Hear My Heart" is definitely catchy. I think the last last song I truly liked by them was the one where in the video, Oli was in an ambulance.
So happy yall are back to these guys. You all should check out Kingslayer from them. It has Babymetal, and is also heavier than anything you've heard from them at this point. Totally recommend it!
GrEAt reaction. So many songs from this band that are perfection. Love this band. Have you reacted to teardrops yet? Now that's a great sound. Very linkin park. But better IMO. And they've just released a new song called LosT. Pop punk style with extra YES in there😂.
Finally you got it! I think there're better respresentations of when they get in this pocket tbh, but still great. NOW, you GOTTA do Parasite Eve (or Ludends works too). Those are like Happy Song but over a 1000, at least for me. It really shows their versatillity as musitians. It blends together most of the sounds they've dove into up to that point, which is not that long ago, cause the songs are from thier last album
surprised but not surprised you guys liked this haha! you guys honestly are some great reactors when it comes to actually being open minded and enjoying music no matter the genre! so even when you guys react to songs I’ve never heard of either I genuinely go and listen to genres outside my usual mix!! :) - but side note!! there’s this awesome new artist that’s been coming up called Q! he gives me that old soul and R&B like Maxwell and Prince but his own person that I definitely think y’all would like!! His new album just dropped ! check out Not Alone or Today! Some of my favorites !! thanks once again :)
If I might… request that you react to pray for plagues by Bring Me the Horizon, might be the heaviest song you’ve reacted to on this channel BUT it’s super dope and the lyrics are entertaining and creative
Fun fact. Oli actually ruptured his vocal chords early on amd continued the concert with blood just pouring out. He can't do his older growls anymore because of it.
One of my favorite songs from BMTH that I think y’all should check out is The House of Wolves. One of their more aggressive songs in terms of lyrics and the power Oli sings with.
Yo dope channel! Been following for years. Bring me the horizon has aged phenomenally! You gotta listen to Ludens, from the Death Stranding sound track. Such a good bump. All the elements you love. His screaming is sick in it. If not that, listen my dudes to While she Sleeps- Silence Speaks ft Oli Sykes. Such a dope song, take care my dudes!
It's surprising to me that these guys haven't reacted to anything AMO or later. I'm not saying it's there best work, but it seems more these guys speed as BMTH went more post-genre. I like all eras of course, but lack of Sempiternal is odd considering it's the breakthrough song where they became accessible. On top of the BMTH fans know the Can You Feel My Heart and Throne are both the token clean electronic songs at the first-half of the albums (MANTRA and Crucify Me are the others... I'd argue Music To Listen to and PH:SH they incorporated it into their style entirely though)
Chelsea Smile is the best song of them, because is the metal era of the band, not that bulshitt modern pop or whattever bullshit they're doing right now.
Glad you guys liked it, Doomed is another really good song off this album!
This song is just something different. Such a bold first song to put on this album. My fav from this project.
Do they do ever do live reactions?
Doomed is incredible
It has to be doomed live In the royal albert with the full orchestra
It better be doomed live at Royal Albert hall

Amazing performance for sure. Transcends the studio version
Every song from that set is better than their studio version. Especially Happy Song, wish they reacted to that version.
@@DarkReaper898 hmm not sure about Antivist being better, the studio version is just something else

Definitely should check out their live performance “Doomed Live at Royal Albert Hall”! 🤘
Such a great album, tons more bangers on it. Doomed, drown, true friends, avalanche...
Doomed live at the royal Albert hall though is 🔥🔥
Not from this album but a slept on song by bmth is I don’t know what to say.

Sempiturnal for sure us there best but this is a very good album!
Sempiternal was their peak
Suicide Season is my personal favorite.
Love this band! “Doomed” or “Teardrops” would be essential listening
they would love doomed, especially at royal albert hall
Sempiternal is still the goat of post hardcore. That album is gonna be talked about for years. Still fresh after 10 years
No lies detected.
The album before that is better tho
Misery Signals - Of Malice and Magnum Heart
Hopesfall - The Satellite Years
Alexisonfire - Watch Out
Seen it all before is the greatest song they've made
I love More THere Is a hell.., Its my favourite

Right? As I was listening to this I can't not hear all the live aspects, the choir, the crowd singing haha
Highly agree!
Kingslayer by BMTH featuring Babymetal. If metal and cocaine had a baby, it would be this song.
You guys HAVE to watch them perform this and Doomed Live at Royal Albert Hall
That whole album is actually really good. They know how to make music.
You guys should do their new song that just released called “LosT” so you can see how much different they sound now lmaoo, it’s such a good song to me

From this album on I feel like they found their groove
When they say something about the transitions I think this is the best example, pretty smooth trasitions here
I dig this one, but my favorite BMTH song is still “Mantra” - and I don’t think I’ve ever seen anyone react to it.
