The way he explained racism is beyond intelligent. I’m not black but damn I felt that. Patrice was so much more than a comic. Miss you Patrice, we all miss your wisdom. #RIPTheGreatPatriceOneal
Man me too. That more than how much I wish we could see he say or he could give the world-I wish he could see how many millions of lives and minds he changed and changes every day. Man, I bet he knows.
That was a privilege to listen to. It's taken me a few MM podcasts to realize how great an interviewer he is. Easily rivals Joe Rogan, who gets a lot more views. Love from London Mark.
I agree with you except for the fact that Joe Rogan doesn’t even come close to the greatness that is Patrice O’Neal. I miss him dearly and would give anything to hear his thoughts about what’s happening right now. RIP Patrice.
*Eastside Low Bottoms shit !* Patrice O'Neal: The greatest comedian/philosopher/relationship guru to ever walk this planet ! HANDS DOWN ! If u can't learn anything from him being interviewed, shame on u. I can say with CERTAINTY that my perspective on relationships hv broadened after discovering Patrice. His analogies are so on-point. It's always a treat to find one of his interviews. Hope ur resting well Mr. P.
While I do love Patrice, it’s really telling that his responses to Maron’s questions always involve him stammering and thinking until he can think of another bit from his act. And those bits are always hilarious and well-constructed, which makes you think that it’s a thoughtful response, even if the point he’s trying to make is misguided. It’s no wonder that thousands of internet sexists treat Patrice’s words like gospel.
He’s speaking the truth; even if we could never get away with saying it like that. Do everything your girlfriend says, never act in charge, and just see if she still finds you sexy after a while. Women are attracted to masculinity, so we shouldn’t be ashamed of what masculinity is. How many asshole guys do you see with hot girlfriends?
These are his life ruminations, his philosophy. Of course its going to be linked with his act but all those bits are based in the truth of his experience. Much like an author, a comedian writes what he knows. Labelling his entire view as sexist is reductionist to his point. he never claimed to be 100% correct hes just putting his thoughts out there.
isaac carter ? Whadda ya mean my friend ? Mark does get me cringey sometimes . Can it be discussed that mark could and should stop saying ya ya ya ... ya right ya ya .... ya ... yaya. Ya yaya yaya . Right ! Change it up mark pls ... but I do love you and I’m a fan mark .
Marc's typical line of questioning: Marc: Are you Jewish? I'm Jewish. Marc: You ever been to Israel? Why not? Marc: What do you think of Judaism? Are you an east coast Jew? Marc: Being Jewish is cool, don't you think? I suggest Marc schedule more black guests. The line of questioning would probably go something like this: Marc: Now, black guy, you're probably fully aware of the drain on society your race has put on the United States. Is this something that the black man has the interest and/or ability to improve? Black guy: *open mouth blank stare Marc: *quizzical blank stare Black guy: *quizzical blank stare, long pause Marc: ummm... Black guy: wey awl da wite wimenz be at??? Marc: Are you Jewish? I'm Jewish.
“I generally don’t like living in a world where being what a man is, is a horrible thing. And no matter what a woman is, its a wonderful thing”.
Just fashion your penis into a vagina then you can command respect!

All of America needs to hear what he had to say about racism. It changed my world view.
I wish Patrice was still around to see how many people love him now
Man me too. That more than how much I wish we could see he say or he could give the world-I wish he could see how many millions of lives and minds he changed and changes every day.
Man, I bet he knows.
Truly a privilege to be in this day and age capable of witnessing even minor things like a podcast

Those ads man...thank you
This is deeper than I expected. What a great interview. Such brutal honesty and surprising depth.
Incredibly interview. Like two best friends who have experienced life just talking and acquiring truth through conversation.

But never be forgotten RIP
RIP Patrice! Man, I miss you so much. Wish I could’ve heard your take and opinions on what’s happening right now.
Yes. Considering his comedy, he’d be center of attention every time he opened his mouth. And he’d be making everyone mad
Facts, would love to hear Patrice’s take on 2020 in general
@@WarHammer1989 Thats the beauty of Patrices style tho! Push them away and then bring them back into his world.
Man. Could u imagine? I think he’d rival Dave Chappell, hell he already did before he died.
13:24 Patrice wanted to tell he has health issues, that's why he decided to not have kids
I think the reason is that having kids really puts you on the hook like nothing else.
Such a great interview.
Did it seriously cut off in the middle of his roller coaster analogy?

Alvin Anarah he was saying that about Marc Maron, not Patrice
I miss him so much.
Now that you love me why do you still have your boat? 😂🤣 Patrice O'Neil was awesome!!
Where’s the full interview? Doesn’t it cut off?
this guy was an emotional genius as a man. the smartest man who could communicate with clarity of what a man is and what a woman is. miss you
This video should be required learning in schools.
Where's the rest of it??? it ended mid sentence
Patrice was awesome
RIP
Or maybe it's like liver in restaurants: the generation that loves it is moving on and the new generation just doesn't like it.
What would Patrice say about October 2023 attack on Israel by Palestinians?
beautiful...
Marc Maron does a way better job interviewing

Mark trying hard to laugh and go along as Patrice (who I love) goes on about "bitches" and throwing out his theories is cringeworthy and hilarious.
