This is a really cool enclosure with a lot of expensive electronics inside. Power delivery to gpu, USB4 acting as PCie, and the designed enclosure itself.
I believe thats the SFX case for th3p4g3 egpu from aliexpress? Im actually considering it for my setup. How does it compare to the Aorus gaming box? And also what PSU did you use for it? Great job on the Bantam btw
That's correct, I also have designed a larger version for generic LP cards with 8-pin power connectors. I put some AC adapter information here: surfacefan.myshopify.com/products/bantam-egpu-enclosure-3d-printed-parts-only
@@cbutters the minisforum ms-a1 just dropped. Worth while mini pc imo and has oculink. Either way keep up the good work. The form factor is perfect with a nice clean aesthetic. If you ever make one for the 4060 lp, count me as a guaranteed buyer.
I'll probably offer the files for free, and offer print services for it in the more exotic carbon fiber and flex materials. in addition to selling the full enclosure without gpu.
If only this was open source. You could sell yours to the folks who don't want to deal with the hassle. I guess carrying about community is not your thing ;(
Not the smallest, GPD and Onexplayer ones are smaller and easier to use, of course though this is the smallest "handmade" one and maybe the smallest with Nvidia GPU, good job
The price is $380, not sure where you are getting the $530. And it isn't just the box, it is all the electronics components inside. I'd have no problem selling the box alone for around $25 if it was just a "3D Printed box". You do know an XG mobile costs $1000-$2000 right?
Hey this is exactly what I was looking for! Paired with a single slot fan it would be even smaller. I couldn’t find your email could you tell me the parts list for this so I can tackle it? @cbutters
I wanna see the inside, this looks pretty cool. Nice job!
Definitely will keep an eye out for this, would love something like this for my laptop.
im considering making this for my 2019 macbook pro setup

Love your ingenuity!

Very interested but pairing it with an oculink port is preferable.
True. I'd totally go that route, but there aren't any devices out there that I want to use that have oculink built in so far.

I'm interested in what the Thunderbolt to PCIE board is. Looks like a TH3P4 Lite but with a Lenovo power port instead of a basic barrel jack.
man i want this for my handheld, pair it with oculink with small handheld like win mini should be good
I love this build, will you be selling the files for this so people can print themselves?

How hard is it to add an M.2 Slot? And not use TH4, but USB4 ?
no way right now to add m.2 slot, It is USB4 capable already.
I think it's awesome. How much does it will cost?
I sell the 3d printed parts on my store: surfacefan.myshopify.com
the USB4 circuitry is around ~220, then your choice of GPU.
@@cbutterswhere can I get the circuitry?
@@deadalkabob aliexpress TH3P4gan v2
Wonder how well this will work with the new snap dragon x elite surface line, ik for a fact mh surface pro 9 could handle this
Does the new qualcomm chips support thunderbolt? past ones didn't because of ARM and mac ARM doesn't yet.
It does, but there's no windows ARM nvidia driver for the gpu yet.
I read that caption in Jeremy Clarkson's voice
Does it work on USB4 as well?
I am using UM790 Pro.
Should work on USB4 assuming 40gbps pcie support
is this a Joke, almost 400 EUR :D

The plan has always been to release the files publicly, I've already given them to those who ask. Are you asking?
@@cbutters I am, yes.
@@HomeView- shoot me an email it's in the about page on my channel.
Can i play fortnite with this gpu?
You absolutely could.
Take a look at the GPD G1, its pretty small too
It's in this video.
lmao its literally 1 minute in...

Smallest nvidia is still better , you can uograte , repair , and use cuda
LMAO $530 for a 3d printed box hahaha you nuts
