  • Sir Keir Starmer celebrated Labour's dramatic West Midlands mayoral win by challenging Rishi Sunak to call a general election "as soon as possible".
He said Richard Parker's victory was a "significant piece of political history".
Mr Parker scraped a win over two-term incumbent Andy Street by just 1,508 votes.

What is Starmer celebrating? Hardly anyone could be bothered to vote for two equally hopeless parties. Is this a ringing endorsement for change? The fact that hardly anyone thinks anyone is worth voting for. It is, but not for Labour. The change we want is a party that actually helps the country. That is not Labour or the Tory's.

The reason labour have sweeped local elections is because we have no confidence in the tories. Not because of labour policies. Britain is a mess because of politicians the system is broken beyond repair. Countries have difficult times but societies are disintegrating before our eyes. I hope we find a way out. I know one thing though politicians aren't going to do it , they created it.

If Starmer becomes PM all it will do is secure him even more money off the gravy train when he eventually gets ousted none of them are fit for purpose and they are majority corrupt. Even down to councillors the majority of them are corrupt, they get to award funding to specific projects and then pick the private companies to do the work its all a big con to see how much money can be taken off the governments credit card that is way overdrawn...
