I'm 37 and have been riding since 12. We didn't have liberty back then. At least I wasn't taught about it. The older I get, the softer and more connected I want my horse and I to be. Keep up with the liberty videos please! Your horse is beautiful btw ❤
Such a beautiful way to train your horse. I lived in Tucson Az 30 years ago and had a horse for many years. I tried to do some of my own, made-up off-halter bonding and training but I didn't really have a plan. I wish I had known about liberty training. It's very peaceful to watch your videos. Thank you!
hi Sam, Amazing video as usual. How would you recommend me work with a youngster who just has no interest in staying with me, in other exercises as well, he just tries to run to his older buddy. how could i keep him connected?
Thank you for sharing!🥰 I am hoping to start liberty with my colt when he is old enough (he's 2 months old right now), do you have a preference on what age to start liberty or doesn't it matter? He is halter broke, leads with my shoulder in the middle of his neck, and I can trot him in hand. Just wondering if I should teach him anything else to prepare him for liberty? Thankyou!🙃
Please do! I'd love to know how to get a SMALL pony to do these. My son has one. Shes' about 4 hands tall... but doesn't want to do liberty. She just wants to eat the grass... We don't have. dry lot to do liberty in unfortunately... that is FLAT ground.
Lovely.. well I’m currently searching for the perfect horse for my granddaughter. I’ve seen a lot of ads on Facebook, but many seem sketchy. Does anyone know of any reputable sources where I can find one?
YES to a new liberty video! I’m starting my new horse on liberty work right now and your old videos play on repeat on my phone 🥰🥰

Great suggestion- I’ll try to video a horse for this in the future
Not to be confused with _funnel cake_ - even though I’m quite suspicious that he’d be down for some of that also!
