I just hate COD. Can’t stand hearing about it anymore. And I don’t want these people anywhere near Battlefront. Let it be it’s own thing, without having to appeal to modern gaming ‘trends’ for simple minded audiences. These are the same folks who worked on that futuristic, lame excuse for a battlefield game and we all know how that turned out.
Imagine a Battlefront game with a community-driven co-op Galactic Conquest like Helldivers 2, and a PvP conquest mode where you can go from ground to space just like in classic Battlefront 2. That would be the perfect Star Wars game for me.
At the end of the day we need a developer that will put the fans first above everything else, and be willing to put the integrity of a solid game before there bottom line. As we all know they could easily be a version of battlefront three, where both of these two items work together simultaneously and net billion game
Modern COD developers would be the death of Star Wars battlefront. If this was from before Black Ops 3 days, maybe a chance, now a days, no. As we dont need “standard online only” content then barely any of that for when you are not connected to the internet

Imagine, new SW game being like helldivers, but buffed. You got 4vsAI as clone commandos, 64vsAI as clone/arc troopers, space battles, infiltration of space crafts. Fighting against enemies such as droids, geonosians, umbarans etc. Oh my...
That would fit so well with clone wars era, not sure about the rebellion era since you would not be fighting a faceless for you would be wiping out actual people
Dice already had their chance they dont need a 3rd attempt to permanently kill this game series. Edit: technically they did kill the series because an ex DICE employee said on Twitter they pitched a Battlefront 3 but the idea was immediately turned down (I think its because the Executives were still bitter that their Pay to win crate gambling system had immediate backlash and was removed the next day after BF2 release and they also started developing Battlefield 2042 and were betting on it doing amazing.)
They still added that ball droid flipping the bird rather than R2. That pissed me off. I still like the game though. For the most part they did it well. I hope they add multi crew vehicles again for the new one.
in my honest opinion. Star Wars Battlefront as a franchise usually is designed to play as a soldier in a war on a massive scale. Pretty much the design document for the types of games that make up Battlefield and Battlefront. While you can say that for other games too. I was thinking Daybreak could be a potential candidate since they could make a Planetside 2 version of Star Wars Battlefront as a continuous Conquest mode on a massive scale never seen in any of the existing Battlefront games. As for rumors when I heard about Planetside 3. They had the idea of player factions conquering other planets. Imagine a Star Wars Battlefront III in that scale where Galactic Conquest is the main mode while possibly adding the Space to Ground combat if you were to set up base on like a moon or something.
Activison shouldn’t be allowed anywhere near Star Wars battlefront they would add their overpriced bundles into the game also they would add their insane SBMM/EOMM system into the game and charge us $70 for another broken mess activison would do more damage to the franchise than ea did and would even kill it once and for all
Dice should not devlop the next battlefront game. They have failed too much recently and showed that they do not listen to commuinty feedback. Activision shouldn't either simply due to their microtransaction systems. Lucas games should find a good developer or develop it in house.
I don't think any of the Call of Duty studios will ever make a game except for COD, the franchise is too valuable and they probably won't let those studios make anything else. Also 343 seems out of the question too, Halo is Microsoft's most iconic game it's their main title why would they put their Halo studio on Star Wars? I doubt DICE will be making Battlefront anytime soon, DICE is not the same studio anymore and EA is trying to salvage / revive Battlefield again, they really need the next Battlefield to be a big success. However out of all the studios you mentioned I think DICE is the most likely one since they developed the first two games. Respawn is possible too.
Here is the thing i do not care about star wars battlefront 3 i will not buy another game from EA. I got the first one pre ordered and they still wanted another 60$ for the rest of the game it was a scam and i will never buy another EA star wars game. I will buy the classic addition but never the other ones.
343 is good, Halo 5 multiplayer is top notch, see mcc and infinite too, and the crazy optimization of the blam engine for halo 4, they pushed the Xbox 360 to the max

There’s only one game publisher that, at this moment in time, have proven they know how to do justice to Star Wars content in multiplayer, and that’s Epic Games.
One of the main things I really miss from the old games is the reinforcement system. I loved hunting down the last of the other team and on the other side making your last stand against the rest of the enemy army.
As an og Halo fan I more than welcome 343 to make anything else and stop butchering the halo franchise. They are a tiny team now barley able to keep the games UI from breaking. Disagree that infinite feels like star wars, it feels like Halo. Battlefront 2 by dice should be how infantry feel in any future battlefront game.
I think for this new battlefront we should at least get that feature where we can hope into starships and choose either to fight on the ground or join a space battle in space with insanely huge multiplayer 60+ on each team

Developers like Arrowhead, I can trust with Battlefront III. If there is anyone that can revive the ground to space combat from the now canceled development, it would be them. DICE, is a very good second. I can rely on them making the game look good but it is EA and they suffered from the case of bad first impression with to late good impression. If anything Battlefront Classic needs to not be a slap in the face but an entire RKO to most of the AAA Developers. Lethal Company and Helldivers II costs less than MWIII and 2042 at launch, yet the quality makes them worth more.
A lot of the original developers from DICE that worked on Battlefront left. The main guy left because they wouldn't let him work on a Star Wars Battlefront 3. So I dont think Star Wars Battlefront 3 will happen unfortunately. If the Halo Infinite devs could get their hands on it, I think it would be good, provided they have something at the start thats not locked behind a paywall.
bro bought modern warefare 2019 and it doesn’t even work, the mw2 i got cheap and there’s no game on the disk but everything has to be downloaded so its completely worthless, worst experience with gaming ever by far. horrible developers
i know not everyone will like this but I want Dice. 2015 was awesome. Battlefront 2 was amazing by 2020 and had so much potential if they kept updating it.
To me the company is testing us they don't think there's a market for a game like Star Wars Battlefront 2005. prove them wrong so they feel inclined to make a Star Wars Battlefront game that's faithful to the original games.
My problem with dice is I followed a lot of the dice battlefront 2 games devs and they quit soon after the new battlefield game dropped so I don’t know if it’s the same team now
Some may not like my thoughts on this, so don't go in full rage mode, just hear me out. I hope there will be a Battlefront 3 which will combine both the classic version and the online play which was made by DICE on the later Battlefront versions. (with better graphic). The classic version could be some kind of offline play withe conquest mode. In the online play, there will be an experience that came later on. What I don't want to see is that there will an introduced of the war zone focus that is on newer COD games. Because I don't like war zone or the survival in a zone focus game, it removes the classic experience.
DICE is the only studio who can do a BF3. They have the engine and they already have a BF3 game that was being worked on but cancelled. I don't see a new studio taking on BF3 especially considering that BF2 is a pretty good game now. No studio is going to want to build the game from the ground up as it will be financially rough for them. DICE already has everything. They just need the green light and to prove they can do it. I could see Arrowhead making a cool PvE star wars game. I think they would de a great job at that, but I don't see them making a battlefront game. Activision or 343 can't make a battlefront like out of all the studios in the world they are the least capable. 343 can't even release a Halo properly like I wouldn't trust them with Star Wars at all. DICE just has everything they need to do it.
I want both, the classic Battlefront 3 that never got released and a EA Battlefront 3 to take everything learned from Battlefront 2 and make it even better in Battlefront 3, it would be the best Battlefront game ever made.
DICE have amazing Visuals amd Sound. Frostbite engine captured the Star Wars Atmosphäre in an amazing way. The Game felt unfinished unpolished sadly and with all this micro trans BS they ruined it.. if they brought out the Game the way it was in the End the Community would absorb the Game much much better. And the Story was so disappointed.. should be more missions from the empore perspective at least .. They need to work on the ability to delivier Games the old ways. Finished with a clear cut.
As much as I want bf3 to come out this is just hopium. Re-releasing the original battlefronts is as close to a new battlefront as we will get. Hoping that DICE will "prove themselves" is so misguided. They had the battlefront franchise for half a decade and wasted it. They ended support for a successful IP just a few years after release. It's clear that bf3 won't release considering the fact that you're throwing 343i and all 3 CoD devs as "potential" for working on a new battlefront is nuts. I'd love a classic battlefront release as much as anyone else but this entire video is just hopium for them releasing a game collection from over 15 years ago.

343 maybe, because while they suck at making Halo Campaigns, Infinite's multiplayer and forge is good compared to the other Halo multiplayer they have made. Its nice that you want this project to be outsouced to like sledgehammer or 343 but those companies work through IPs and star wars isn't an IP they're a part of... With big deals and trade offs like that its not a matter of an announcement; its a matter of legal docs. Wheneever a huge tradeoff deal like that takes place someone sniffs out the docs and then it goes public so in all honesty thats not great for marketing and big corpos will steer away from legal leakers because then you're just left with a GTA 6 situation where hype builds and then someone ruins the hype by dropping footage early which realistically no one wants or needs

The original studio was Pandemic, and they have been defunct for a very long time

A lot of the original developers from DICE that worked on Battlefront left. The main guy left because they wouldn't let him work on a Star Wars Battlefront 3. So I dont think Star Wars Battlefront 3 will happen unfortunately. If the Halo Infinite devs could get their hands on it, I think it would be good, provided they have something at the start thats not locked behind a paywall.
bro bought modern warefare 2019 and it doesn’t even work, the mw2 i got cheap and there’s no game on the disk but everything has to be downloaded so its completely worthless, worst experience with gaming ever by far. horrible developers

i know not everyone will like this but I want Dice. 2015 was awesome. Battlefront 2 was amazing by 2020 and had so much potential if they kept updating it.

To me the company is testing us they don't think there's a market for a game like Star Wars Battlefront 2005. prove them wrong so they feel inclined to make a Star Wars Battlefront game that's faithful to the original games.
My problem with dice is I followed a lot of the dice battlefront 2 games devs and they quit soon after the new battlefield game dropped so I don’t know if it’s the same team now
Some may not like my thoughts on this, so don't go in full rage mode, just hear me out. I hope there will be a Battlefront 3 which will combine both the classic version and the online play which was made by DICE on the later Battlefront versions. (with better graphic). The classic version could be some kind of offline play withe conquest mode. In the online play, there will be an experience that came later on. What I don't want to see is that there will an introduced of the war zone focus that is on newer COD games. Because I don't like war zone or the survival in a zone focus game, it removes the classic experience.
They should release the finished but cancelled Battlefront 3 game.
DICE is the only studio who can do a BF3. They have the engine and they already have a BF3 game that was being worked on but cancelled. I don't see a new studio taking on BF3 especially considering that BF2 is a pretty good game now. No studio is going to want to build the game from the ground up as it will be financially rough for them. DICE already has everything. They just need the green light and to prove they can do it. I could see Arrowhead making a cool PvE star wars game. I think they would de a great job at that, but I don't see them making a battlefront game. Activision or 343 can't make a battlefront like out of all the studios in the world they are the least capable. 343 can't even release a Halo properly like I wouldn't trust them with Star Wars at all. DICE just has everything they need to do it.

DICE have amazing Visuals amd Sound. Frostbite engine captured the Star Wars Atmosphäre in an amazing way. The Game felt unfinished unpolished sadly and with all this micro trans BS they ruined it.. if they brought out the Game the way it was in the End the Community would absorb the Game much much better. And the Story was so disappointed.. should be more missions from the empore perspective at least ..
They need to work on the ability to delivier Games the old ways. Finished with a clear cut.
As much as I want bf3 to come out this is just hopium. Re-releasing the original battlefronts is as close to a new battlefront as we will get. Hoping that DICE will "prove themselves" is so misguided. They had the battlefront franchise for half a decade and wasted it. They ended support for a successful IP just a few years after release. It's clear that bf3 won't release considering the fact that you're throwing 343i and all 3 CoD devs as "potential" for working on a new battlefront is nuts. I'd love a classic battlefront release as much as anyone else but this entire video is just hopium for them releasing a game collection from over 15 years ago.

343 maybe, because while they suck at making Halo Campaigns, Infinite's multiplayer and forge is good compared to the other Halo multiplayer they have made. And since it would not be Halo they probably won't fail at making a Star Wars game because it is not a Halo game. Since they appear very apprehensive about making Halo games similar to Bungie

Its nice that you want this project to be outsouced to like sledgehammer or 343 but those companies work through IPs and star wars isn't an IP they're a part of... With big deals and trade offs like that its not a matter of an announcement; its a matter of legal docs. Wheneever a huge tradeoff deal like that takes place someone sniffs out the docs and then it goes public so in all honesty thats not great for marketing and big corpos will steer away from legal leakers because then you're just left with a GTA 6 situation where hype builds and then someone ruins the hype by dropping footage early which realistically no one wants or needs

I dint even want a battlefront 3 at this point. Im just so happy to have the classic games back. I doubt anything they make can top those.
Im just waiting for the day for someone who was a part of the free radical team or have the team (reunite) to finish making the actual Battlefront 3. Basically finish whats left of what was 99% done and release it to the public on all platforms. I've been waiting 15 years for this game to release. I dont want to get baited yet again on another crappy re-boot that's not Battlefront 3...

Sorry but I don't believe there will be a Battlefront III. The Battlefront Classic is clearly a cash grab because they have run out of new ideas. They did not do right by fans when DICE had the games and I doubt they will do right by us now.

I'd rather not arrowhead make the game otherwise it'd just be another excluisve game. If a Battlefront 3 or any new kind of Battlefront game were to ever exist, it needs to be on every platform, or at the least on both Xbox and PlayStation. Not on one or the other, but both!
yeah we need a new battlefront game soon battlefront 2 is unplayable at times with the error 209 and hackers messing with the servers and it doesn't help that the battlefront 2 community is split up people on console then people on pc so for bf3 they need crossplay and some sort of anti cheat but gonna be dead till then so im just gonna play battlefront classic hope it stays active and battlefield till then anyway good video brother 👍

other studios cant manage vehicles. it can be great game like helldivers but lack of vehicles espcialy air vehicles. also that make game playstation pc exlusive. ı dont like game focus heros. battlefront 2 2017 listen to fans always focused heros more and clone wars. they should focus maps vehilces new guns instead of those. the next battlefront 3 game also need better graphics and space to ground without loading. all those tech again make impossobile to galactic conquest like mode. battlefront 2015 look better than ps5 game helldivers 2. graphics not advanced to make battlefront 3 it even go back thanks to no sesne like fps upscalers and ray tracing efffects. its imposible make huge map star wars game on this console gen seems maybe only end of console pushing very hard with 30fps. id can make battlefront game single player only but third person view they not good.
