The car was originally purchase at the Porsche factory by a Dutch air force captain who moved to Texas right after he bought the car. I have all the correspondence with Porsche documenting the move from europe to the US ( including making sure the factory warranty would be valid in the states). The car was switched to miles since it was new- the first service was on 2/3/86 at Metropolitan Motorcars with 1,970 miles.
