@Gus Logozar But isn't the intro supposed to be mostly "strummed". I'm not literate about the terms of techniques but I'm pretty sure the intro is just full of melodic rhythm playing (and I know how to play it)

great way to think about the song Ernie...i definitely agree with the guitar first, but i'd have to possible switch the vocals with drums, the vocals are so difficult and unique. most covers have vocalists that never quite do it for me...also would have to add in the xylophone!!

What a great job by all involved! I have a problem with folks ragging on the vocalist, he was on time, sang on key, and when kids are doing positive things, creative things, they should be encouraged. It takes guts to get up in front of your peers and sing, play an instrument, act, or anything else that invites people to judge your performance. Every kid is not cut out for football or baseball, etc. this might be that kids “thing”. Great job guys...

I agree. The guitarist stole the show .. but the singer was very good for his age and yes .. he could carry a tune and had rhythm. That's more than you can say about a lot of people. The drummer was also very talented.

It just makes me ill to think that a high school kid has a authentic fender to play for his school band. Here, in India, you have to go to the extreme of getting hold of a " extra special" squier bullet from a neighbouring fancy school. A bullet! The standards.
