Whether they were trying to be the next big thing, be local celebs or just make a few dollars and meet girls, small guitar-led groups were everywhere. I was in a couple of them in my teens in the mid-60s. Most of us weren’t as talented as this young man, but our area of NE Ohio produced The Human Beinz (Nobody But Me) and Phil Kaeggy among others.

It's amazing how many good bar bands we have these days... and some are VERY young. We're talking high school kids as Dead or Phish cover bands.

At least I still have an ear to pick out the better players and they did eventually boil down a few songs to smaller groups, which were much better. That show was Jon Anderson doing Yes music, so some fairly complicated music. Took 2 guys to pull off "Clap" and they nailed it! (kinda like dueling banjos going back and forth)
In 1976 I was in a band at Jordan. Played bass. My first band. Glad to see it carried on. Real music, and this kid shreds it! We won the talent contest too. Beetdiggers rule!

I absolutely love it when the teenagers listen to and play their interpretation of iconic artists from my era. My 15 year old grandson plays some.great riffs of Hendrix, Yardbirds and Cream Clapton and Albert and Freddie King. He respects and loves all types of music and.styles. His dad bought him a 59 Les Paul Gold top and a 68 Strat and I would have given him my 70 Gibson 335 Sunburst Tobacco. or my SG if I still had it. Keep the blues alive!!!

Went to Highschool with some very famous guys. It was crazy for some years. People come and go. God bless them for keeping us entertained. But rock an roll will never die. I think "the aliens" started it.
I can relate. Played in a band while in high school In the mid 60's in louisville kentucky. The Daydreamers. Still playing. Hail Hail Rock And Roll. The big difference today. I play in church to serve Our Saviour. AMEN.

That drummer is steady and a solid back beat. The "Mitch Mitchell" was a little out of his skill level, but he kept it together. The bassist is holding it down with simplicity which is a skill in itself. The guitarist...well, he's playing S.R.V and Hendrix. They are going to be an amazing blues band if they can keep it together. Applause 👏 👏 👏

The whole band is spot on. The guitarist is a gifted musician and a natural performer. He didn’t learn that stage presence, that comes from within.
