Saw several comments saying the dude on the left was the best of the 3. IMO the dude on the right won without a doubt. You can tell just by looking at how smoothly and effortlessly he played. He knew what he was doing and was confident doing it. What stuck out has bad was when the guy with the red shirt interrutped his friends turn with a "kick" (I know it was just fooling around but u don't interrupt someone when they're performing like that)
Guy with Flying V wins because he was the more technically proficient player of the three. Blond guy in the middle wins because he's the best looking of the three. Guy on left wins because he has the best flannel shirt of the three.
The left and middle guy were sloppy, mindlessly shredding, and playing other people’s shit. The guy on the right had way better style, technique, tone, and overall playing ability
When there’s a guitar competition and a dude with hair and a Flying V comes out everyone should just pack up! Lol. Great job and glad to see metal/rock n roll guitar is still alive

Son Goku he played it to save himself because he was shit. Andrew Chapman I'm sure The Dooo could woop anyone's ass in a guitar battle. I mean he smoked the headless horseman and paid the price, but he is still the best.

Nothing rude, nice comments just like yours but it does make me wonder what I'm doing wrong...
@@jenraider72 Oh I'm sorry. Well all the best.
@@bilalmalikguitarist Truly, no apologies necessary; your comment was totally positive and pleasant. All in good fun. You take care as well.
@@jenraider72 Nice talking to ya.
“Worst guitar playing I’ve ever seen.” Proceeds to play almost NOTHING but whammy bar sounds off of a few notes.
Saw several comments saying the dude on the left was the best of the 3. IMO the dude on the right won without a doubt. You can tell just by looking at how smoothly and effortlessly he played. He knew what he was doing and was confident doing it. What stuck out has bad was when the guy with the red shirt interrutped his friends turn with a "kick" (I know it was just fooling around but u don't interrupt someone when they're performing like that)
5:10 holy wars solo he thought he was slick
Also noticed, like bruh we know megadeth
A shitty holy wars at that
Yessir lol
@@franekpyzel6943 but the audience may not know….. you see?!
@@haydnguildford-ross9537 yeah but it's someone else's solo. You don't go to a rap battle just to spit someone else's diss track
man guy in the middle needs to fix that
Evan Warden I know, I have, it's been a year
Aaron Anderson yo dude you did great that was sick
Aaron Anderson you were rad dude
That was u?
@@aaronanderson9224 awesome playing , all 3 of you ^^
mobile recordings dont do much justice to the tone/sound anyhow
No disrespect, but the guy with the strat looks so funny between the two metal guitarists
Yh but the left guy was shocking
Guy with Flying V wins because he was the more technically proficient player of the three.
Blond guy in the middle wins because he's the best looking of the three.
Guy on left wins because he has the best flannel shirt of the three.
King V
Guy in the middle is straight up playing Bullet for my Valentines entire discography
The left and middle guy were sloppy, mindlessly shredding, and playing other people’s shit. The guy on the right had way better style, technique, tone, and overall playing ability
I rank it this way. Dude on the right was the best, dude in the middle was fine and the dude on the left was awful.
You guys are either dumb or dont know left from right
@@smartperson1167 lemme guess you’re the guy on the left😂
@@smartperson1167 those basically mean the same thing lmao
quit crying
Guy in red just played mostly ]V[EGADET]-[ stuff
Me and the long haired dude have the same amp, fender mustang, and he totally beat the other two dudes. No competition... At all.
Nacoda Ives i agree. I also have that amp too lol
Yeah!
Best tone also...I have and record with the mustang 3...love it!
Do u know what setting he had it on?
Never mess with a long haired guitarist lol
When there’s a guitar competition and a dude with hair and a Flying V comes out everyone should just pack up! Lol. Great job and glad to see metal/rock n roll guitar is still alive
Until you see a dude with a JP signature guitar pull up that is, lol.
Left: Megadeth solos with 3/4 of the notes
Middle: Blues/90s-2000s rock solos
Right: Actually took the time to learn how to play
All three: better than most because they got up in front of people to play
wow the long haired one knows a phrygian/harmonic scale pretty well
im now 29 and i still wish to learn it as he knows it
@@Valz940Do it dude.
Lol guy in red gets a woo for playing the easy as hell eruption.
fr
That's why he played it😂
Works every time lol
Son Goku he played it to save himself because he was shit. So he just bust that easy ass solo out and everyone loved it just because it sounds really cool but it’s a pretty easy thing to play i learnt it only after almost a year of playing because I found out how easy tapping was so it was the first “cool” guitar thing I learned. Yep I can tap like em all.its easy.
he played the easy part in eruption, the whole thing is much harder than that my friend.
Did anyone else hear 'mh Hello' in like clevelands voice?
1:11
For anyone wondering... The 2nd song played (Justin bieber with a strat) is The Poison by BFMV
3:43 this sounds insanely good, his fretboard knowledge is wild and def knows music theory id assume
Of course the red flannel comes in with the easy eruption tap
it's like classic vs grunge vs metal
During the whole thing, I was waiting for someone to play through the fire and flames
Those small amps really put out. Great shredding, would like to hear a little more rythmn/power chords
Very talented. I just wish they'd come together and just jammed it out to the end. I think it could have been epic.
The Dooo would totally fuck them up
Shadow - Snows the doooo is overrated as fuck
Your opinion, not mine 😉
Andrew Chapman I'm sure The Dooo could woop anyone's ass in a guitar battle. I mean he smoked the headless horseman and paid the price, but he is still the best.
Tanner Stevens dude he's you are really overestimating his skill
What?
Guy on the right just dominating that tone and control. Destroying everything!!!
Would have been cool if they all played together for a finale 👍🔥
I like that they have three different styles but they also touch and play on each other's styles that makes it really fun.
you can tell exactly what each one is going to sound like just by looking at em
the guy in the red flanny looks constipated.. he really needs to push that nugget out and focus on whatever it is he is doing..
Guy on the right has AWESOME legato
Nobody calls it that mate
Third one sounds like my cat when it gets in fights
Everyone in the audience wins! Thank you for playing
Isn't that the truth
Guy on the far right has some true dexterity with his fretting hand
His picking hand is impressive too!
According to my opinion,The guy with the long hair is the winner.
According to everyone lol
And your ears
dave mustaine is that you
brandon williams very shitty Dave mustaine
I always hated when kids at my school would sit on the guitar amp
That little fender mustang has some clear tones for its size
Long-haired guy was just saving his power for the last solo. He had to ration it out. You can tell his shred level went up at least 700% during the final round, whereas the others only increased their shred level by 40% at most.
From the left guy who occasionally practices, Guys who practices sometimes to songs, last guy level 100 Guitar junkie
The guy in plaid really loved his ascending scales
9:33 Everything's going down at this point lol
Hes unoriginal
That’s 10 minutes of my life that I’m glad I took
Something about a V body holds great power they’re like a guitar you earn in life in my opinion. A special feeling comes with owning one. And he expresses that greatly for his age
Obviously the one who talks shit, is the worst.. Long hair dude was already walking off the stage with his guitar AND amp in hand while the other 2 squares hadn't even unplugged their pedals yet.. The LTD was so crisp and clean, he tried playing with them like a normal band member would do, & neither of them even knew how to react... fucking killer job LTD not even a competition for you bro
tuning wasnt invented until May 14th 2016 I guess
Guy in red is trying to hard, guy in the middle is just there, and the long haired guy just plays so beautifully and effortlessly.
why the dude on the left played like richard benson ?
whats the model of that flying v?
