I think Farfa really underestimated how many URs you need to pull to actually play Tear
Imagine being Farfa and not knowing that with Merrli banned you have to pull almost exactly UR Reinoheart AND UR Scheiren to play the deck beyond "hope you draw the 1-of havnis". Mayyyyyybe if you pull enough copies of Tear Kash you can get away with one or the other.
He's like "we have 2 tear names" my brother in christ there are 3 fusers total legal and 2 of them are URs, Reino is also UR, and Tear Kash is SR.

I loved how in previous seasons Farfa chose very well the packs, almost never get baited and squeezed out the potential of even “bad” decks (GUSTO!) this season he is just high on the high roll Shaddoll pack and he is “just high” roll every episode. I'm a bit let down 😢
I can never tell if Farfa is really good at pretending to be dumb for content or if he's actually just dumb. I *want* to say the former, but there are some times...

Im from Bosnia, we have a decent amount of words adapted from english or german, but also huge amount of them from Turkish language, and it wouldnt be right for me to say that for example, Bardak is Bosnian word for mug/cup/glass, when it is turkish in origin
@@nbassasin8092 Very nitpicky. Sure there's an etymological dimension to every word but it's hardly practical to trace the origin of every word when talking about languages. Mare is both an Italian and Latin word.

Not a cope. Remember he has Shaddolls and some despia stuff so just having schieren and hauvnis goes a long way into his fusion gameplan. He did not need all the other stuff outside of that

It genuinely baffles me that everyone seems to be convinced that the Tearlament pack is not only good, but the single best pack in the whole of Master Duel when in reality it's pretty much garbage. Like, I get it, the Tearlaments are strong, but they're almost all URs in a set that includes an archetype that doesn't work well with them, and Tear is only good when you can pull a critical mass of them, particularly needing Scheiren an Reinoheart. Farfa got relatively lucky with his pulls, yet he acts like he wasn't and that the RNG screwed him, when he shouldn't have had any expectations of a playable set of pulls in the first place.

But he wasn't complaining about not pulling the high rarity cards. The issue is once again what happened with the Darklord Despia pack, where he needed one part of the archetype in the pack but pull almost everything from the other side with little to nothing from the side he wanted.

There’s some interesting developments for This episode of Saga.
I’m glad Sky gave Gage an above average Marincess deck that’s picking up some steam! The funniest thing about this is that the Mekk-Knights can actually put in some work link climbing into the others without Coral Anemone. Also, Kairyu-Shin might be the next coming of Lab.
For Farfa, Tearlaments have historically been great with Shaddolls. In fact, Winda is still used alongside Tearlaments even in modern Yu-Gi-Oh. However, the fact that most of the Tear cards are UR make them pretty hard to obtain the full Tear Engine (and that’s without Merrli in Master Duel because she’s banned).
Doug making a good pendulum deck can actually be quite strong if he goes all in with one particular kind of style like maybe Dinomist.
I like how neither Gage or Farfa noticed that Doug pulled Underworld Goddess. It’s a bit unsettling, but with how Doug is playing Pendulums, I can imagine Underworld Goddess might be seen a decent number of times in the future.

Trading cards could actually be a pretty decent idea. Give someone a card they need and get one you need in return. But maybe only cards that have been used so far in decks, since you don't want to reveal too much from your collection. Of you could offer an unknown card you own, hoping for a good trade deal in response. Could be done at the end of each episode.
I like the idea but I think they want to keep everybody’s deck at a certain power level and completely RNG based.
But again I do like the idea. I feel like it’ll be implemented better alongside the bans. Each player can do trades to help recover and build a new strategy with what decks they have left after the hits.
Doug's pend pile is something I'm going to be keeping an eye on, because there's a lot of potential there. Farfa's greed knows no bounds. Gage running into the big weakness of the Marincess pack, but he honestly pulled pretty well, and I think he's finally found an engine that will let him build the water pile he's been accruing through the season.
Doug's pendulum deck isnt bad. He had outs for Gage also - could have crashed the Breaker into Ocean Dragon Lord and then Pendulum summoned it back and popped Pacifis.
If he rolls one of the better pend packs (like Endymion) he might be able to make a pretty decent deck.

Why do they go into the bundles other than to save gems ? Like if they don't pull an ultra they don't get a guaranteed ultra in their next 10 master packs.

The reason people don't really play the invoked package anymore is because while it's still incredibly good being able to both get a negate on the field and potentially banishing card from your opponents GY, the fact its its been power crept by branded which does almost the same thing except instead of ending on a negate, it can end on Mirror Jade which is arguably better and the fact that branded has its own structure deck makes it easier to get ahold of all the cards.
If I was in Farfa's position I would of just sucked it up and played Mermails but his deck look pretty good

about the discusion that Doug was having about the colour of the button on the pendulum scale, it shouldnt even exist. Pendulum summon is done by the monsters, not by the pendulum scales. The summon is like a synchro/link summon or a built in, etc. The monsters in your hand and extra deck are the ones which check if their levels are between the scales, to make the summon.
And how to implement it? Just add the Pendulum summon yellow icon to the card you want to summon, then it allows the same screen to select other monsters.
I understand that programming that is an extra step, but it would be more accurate tho

I think it would be cool, of players had an option, to unban certain core cards of they're collection, maybe let each player unban 1 card back to 1 and a card at one to 2, every 2nd-3rd bannlist

You know what? Instead of Wild bans I'd like to see a Snatch steal night. Every player decides which cards (1 card from each opponent) they want to copy to strengthen their decks. Gage could use Farfa's Argonaut, Farfa can get a double Engage (if I remember correctly) and Dzeef can be beaten up in the last 5 episodes of this season

Tbh I gotta say Farfa has made this season a little unfun to watch… He went into the same pack like 4 times, and then goes the Tear pack… I really feel like the series is at odds with itself sometimes because it’s supposed to be a casual, sort of funny sealed environment. What’s fun about watching some pull the same pack 4 weeks in a row? Or picking the best archetype the game has ever seen in an intentionally lower powered format…. Wow gee that sure sounds fun to watch!

I opened 50 packs of the tear/mermail pack recently to try to build Tear, and oh boy did that not go well lol. So many mermails.

It would have been so funny if the first time Gage summoned Alpha, we came full circle and Gage said something like, "I Nyhmnim am no longer a Beta, I am now an ALPHA" lol
2 things. 1 doug always puts his S/T in the rightmost S/T zone which blocks his pend zones... sketchy 2ndly kairyushin allows you to control only one non water meaning you couldn't have pendulum summoned reading... although i guess if you crash first you can pend
Probably out of habit. I always set S/T cards in the scales zone, just in case I face pend decks. If my card is imperm, it can give more value, and if not, at least I can avoid their imperm.
