I love this! It reminds me of the lake view we had last week when we went up north. Inspiration to paint a loose painting of a picture I took. Another amazing tutorial. Just lovely.
Hi Emma, After your beautiful Bob Ross painting, I was hoping you'd do another!!! You're great at landscapes and they're a nice variation from your normal watercolors. Well done you!!! I love that you added more detail at the end. Perfection! :)
It turned out really pretty ❤️ I was thinking same thing... trees in the back need to be sharpened up. I’m a beginner watercolorist... when I watch someone else do water it looks so easy... then I try to do it.. the shore looks flat.. the water looks like a cartoon ... 😫 I dunno, practice I guess.
Lovely fall colors! Mathew Palmer, SAA/UK, sells a trio of stippling tree/foliage brushes. Around $30. Worthwhile investment for me who's tree challenged! Good to see Bee paper again. Been a while. :)
Hi Emma . Just did one of your tutorials. I guessed you were from Ontario! My aim is to copy lakes and trees, then do my own pic from photos taken in September, in Ontario of course!
Love these colours! You make this seem so approachable that I’m going to give it a go this weekend. Not sure about that particular technique with your brush though -I don’t have many brushes 😅
I loved the look of the trees in the distance before you added more detail and strengthened them as well as added the dark green ones in front. The misty look appeals to me. Still love this painting anyway.
Hi Emma, I am fairly new to watercolor and have recently discovered your channel. The more I watch you, the more inspired I am, so thank you for that! Can you share what colors you have in your Winsor Newton Professional pallet (I've noticed you have a number of different pallets, which makes me feel better about myself, as I am rapidly becoming obsessed!)? I would appreciate it.
I was always curious but this is probably the best video to ask...😜 How many times have you replaced your brushes? And if you have how long did the princeton snaps last? And do you have multiple brushes of the same size? Btw... Princeton should sponsor you because like me, many others have bought these brushes on your recommendation 😇
I have these brushes and find myself reaching for them more than the silver black velvets. . i bought them when AC Moore went out of business really cheap (like 2.50 a brush) and was surprised they are Emmas favorite brushes.
@@Rita123xyz Really? I mean Silver Black velvets are premium quality brushes... But I can imagine that not everybody like the softness of those brushes! Hey thanks for responding 😇
I have the Black Velvets as well, far too soft for me. Bought all kinds of brushes when I started and found that I love the Princeton Brand 100 percent. I have the Snaps, Princeton Selects with the light blue handle and Princeton Heritage, all awesome with just the right amount of snap.
I have a bunch of brushes and really do like the Princeton brand. They are very reasonably priced so I don’t feel too bad when I use and abuse them. 😊 I don’t have any super expensive brushes like Maestro. I think I would be a bit afraid of ruining a $200+ brush. And, I’m not that fancy!!
You make this look so easy! I just tried to copy this, but it is so hard! To much water on my brush, paper dries so fast....🙈 mine looks awefull. I love your video's though! I'll keep on trying!
It's nice. But if all the water is calm shouldn't the farther away trees also show reflection or rough up the water so they don't? And the detail and darkness of the supposed to be farther away trees brings them so far forward that now there is no aerial perspective. This is confusing to me.
Emma, this is so awesome. I love the fall colors during fall. Thank you for doing this tutorial for us. I appreciate it very much.
You make me feel like there is hope for me to becoming an artist. Thank you and blessings for your teaching.
A wonderful painting and I enjoy how you describe why you are doing what you are doing. I am a Bob Ross fan so this is cool.
Amazing! The water reflections look so real! Thank you.
Very nice....loved your tutorial
Pretty! I think I might try this on a watercolor postcard. So true about the "garbage" paintings. I learned something from each one.
This was beautiful. I’m going to my studio and copy it. I love it. Thank you so much.
very nice will have to try this!
Yessss I bought the brushes.......... and this video Emma is wonderful !!!

Superb mam...
I’ve always had such a hard time with landscapes!
You call this a loose landscape, on my small phone it looks quite photographic. Lovely

@@Skinnychelle48 My size 6 round is a Princeton Elite. i love that one too. Princeton does make good brushes that are excellent for detail work.

Hi Emma what is your masking tape, where can I purchase it 💖
❤️
How do you put this painting on the tablet for example? Can you explain please? Thank you
What size paper are you using?
6x9 Bee watercolor paper. Can't get it anymore, unsure why. Great paper tho!
using same paper but it dries so fastttt :(

You can do it however you like. It doesn’t have to be realistic.
@@EmmaLefebvre Whoa! Really Annette? It's a gift FREE tutorial!
@@FannaTurano I understand that Frances. I was legit getting confused.
