Yndi Halda - Dash and Blast

  • Enjoy Eternal Bliss was a debut EP recorded by the instrumental band Yndi Halda and released on the Big Scary Monsters Recording Company in the UK; Burnt Toast Vinyl in the USA and XTAL Records in Japan. It was first made available online on November 13, 2006 before being released in shops in February 2007. The EP was previously self-released as a 3-track demo through the band's website and live performances. This version of the EP did not include the track "A Song For Starlit Beaches".
The title "EP" is often called into question due to the record's length. Indeed, only the UK edition of "Enjoy Eternal Bliss" was titled as such - in all other territories it was renamed as an LP or full-length album on behalf of the band.

I don’t have any words to describe how beautiful this song is. I have known Yndi Halda since 2016, or nearly earlier 2017...
And all I know is there, this song is a masterpiece. Yndi Halda is one of the most powerful bands in the world but none appreciate ‘real music’, so... Just because they’re not famous enogh and I’m really sad about it, but at the same time I think this is kinda good thing. Yndi Halda is my ‘special’ band and I don’t tell anyone like ‘hey, listen Yndi Halda!’ Or sth like that because I don’t know... They’re just special to me.
And the first time I’ve ever listened Dash and Blast, I was reading Kite Runner, this is my favourite book all the time btw
Anyway maybe this is one of the reasons why it sounds so sad, so emotional to me but I don’t think so. I think it’s just because power of music.

yndi halda is fucking fantastic, but stop with the "real music" bs pls. everyone can enjoy what they want to enjoy, even if its made with fruity loops or whatnot. There is no such thing as "real music". Music is Music.

@@tritobandito7853 agrees... but for me... I kinda don't sit well with lyrics... sometimes it's just too political, sometimes, it's too dramatic.. sometimes it's too hardcore, sometimes it's gibberish, and sometimes it's just plain stupid... and then there's music without lyric.. its always up to us how to interpret it and for me its the most beautiful thing about post-rock genre... there is no strict guideline called lyric that will strict my imagination.

i picture a feeling. of holding onto something as hard as you can while everything around you get destroyed and burns. you cling onto a shred of hope. something you truly love. something that lets your humanity shine. even if its still mere spark and even when it gets harder and harder to hold onto it you dont stop moving. even when it feels pointless to. you've never stopped before, so why stop now? You and what you love most are going to make it... even if it kills you.
i am personally moved by this music because it reminds me that life in the end is just another thing that can screw you over or be lost but your still just a human being. and your spirit for whatever reason... still burns within you.
