I have the most beautiful and unforgettable experience listening to this song on repeat lying on the beach of the north shore in Oahu, HI. I had never seen a night sky that clear before in my 32 years on this planet. I had also never seen that many stars in my entire life it was so beautiful. Having this song on and soaking that moment in was a match made in heaven.
Im thinking there is numerous better post-rock albumrelease than Yndi Halda's, but what happened in this song after 7:47 is the most pure, cathartique, out-standing moment of the genre, for me ofc 10/10
I set out on a mission to find a new post rock band that I've never heard that I actually liked. I'm happy to say I've reached the end of my journey :) I can't even begin to put into words just how beautiful this song.
you should give him a hipster citation for hoping this band does well in the future! how dare he wish a band well and not want to keep them underground forever.

One of the most brilliant soulful piece of music I've heard in recent times. Whatever accolades they're getting is surely not enough.
7:38 to 13:38 - one of the best post rock sequences ever.
One of my very favorite post-rock bands of all time. Brilliant.
Just one of the best songs i´ve ever heard. Incredible feelings, incredible sounds. Thanks Yndi Halda.
The segment running from about 3:30 to 4:00 is just the most beautiful half minute that I've ever heard.

I agree. I don't know if they did it on purpose, but it was the one thing that kept me from downloading. Mainly the violin.
