Thanks. Yes, everyone should have a Trainmaster or two! The 783 scale Hudson pulls almost as well but not as smooth. Both amazing engines to have in the collection.
Boy, Dave, that lead in was to much! Just awesome. And those box cars just kept coming as did that little bell ringer switcher. To cool. As the video drew to a close I was telling myself that I definitely need to pick up a few more box cars. LOL Awesome is the only word! Thank you. Bill B.
Glad you liked it Bill! I had fun putting the video together, thanks for starting the challenge. You can always use another boxcar. Or ten more! Or a hundred!
Wow...you pulled out all the stops on this one, Dave! You've definitely taken the box car challenge to the next level. Congratulations on passing 1,000 subs, too! Well deserved. Thanks. T4
@@dagryffynhobby I'm glad to see that the down-to-earth DIY How-to train channels like yours can do as well as glitzy ones! It's refreshing. Thanks again.
Pretty awesome. Liked the second rail coming out. Oddly I didn’t expect that. I think I want to detail the inside of some of my boxcars with small pallets with goods on them and some with Hobo’s etc. Will be cool to see with the doors open. I think I’ll do a few holiday cars too. I have a few Halloween and Christmas box cars and even some regular cars that I could do something for Thanksgiving. I just bought some pumpkins and small Halloween 🎃 items from Michael’s so I’ll give it a go. Again awesome running session. Take care.. Tim
Thanks Tim. I never really thought about putting anything inside the boxcars, I like that. I may have to borrow the idea and put some pallets and other junk or boxes inside a couple. That would certainly be interesting. Great idea!
Thanks! I’ve been on the fence about using music behind the trains running, partially I feel like it adds kind of a heartbeat to it. But I see that it also can be a distraction. So your vote would be to not have music?
Nice boxcar run, the little 040 has got some smooth power. 👍🚂
I love the old steam switchers. I think those are mostly newer cars it’s pulling, don’t think it could manage that many postwar cars!
WOW GOOD JOB!!! IMPRESSIVE!!!
Thank you!
Impressive!! The Trainmaster is a must have. And I've never seen a Steam locomotive pull so many. Awesome muscle on the both of them.

That Lionel Lackawanna is something else Dave. Love the pulling power on the locomotive
The Trainmaster is a fantastic engine, so strong and such a good runner
Nice box car train it looks great!
Nothing quite like a long train of boxcars!
Here's another old one I missed... 😜
Great video Dave. I enjoyed seeing your collection of box cars.
Thanks so much! It’s changed a bit since then!
Awesome job! Great addition to the challenge 👍. Love your layout bro..
Thank you!
Pretty cool and the layout is coming along nicely.
Thank you!
Nice job!
Thank you!
Challenge Accepted!!! Boxcar video coming this week.
Sweet!
awesome vid and collection as always, but maybe the music takes away a bit from the trains sound and natural calmness of the trains
Thanks!
