Haha! Appreciate it. I do step in front of the camera on occasion.
Will be shooting some on-the-water fishing gear reviews over the next few days - keep an eye out for those.

You're welcome, David - and good luck. If you check out the latest video I posted, it only took 30 hours before a buck showed up to check out my newest mock scrape and licking branch.

Great information! We can no longer use any type of attractant because of CWD. I find mock scrapes and licking branches are gold for trail camera bait 😜

Definitely awesome for cool behavioural footage with the cams. Where are you located that they stopped the use of attractants?

Great video and info Justin. I think I'll try your mock scrape idea cause when I use bait like apples I get more fisher and bear than deer. :)

Definitely works, Bob - and I'd say 90% of my trail cam vids support that. Let me know how you make out my friend...

@@JustinHoffman Will do. Do you mind me asking where you buy it or do you buy it direct? Don.t see it on Cabelas site and Sail carries Tinks products but didn't see that one in particular.

I buy it at Canadian Tire (it was on clearance this week) but have also picked it up at Walmart in the past.

Code Blue also makes a synthetic deer urine spray, that I believe can be purchased at both stores. I've used that in the past. Can buy that at CT I am fairly certain.

@@JustinHoffman Ok thanks. I'll check it out. I have a lot of scents from years past I might try to use up. Not sure if they deteriate with time or not but good way to use it up.

Good info. One suggestion is not to kneel down or allow any of your clothes to touch ground where deer can smell u and would recommend wearing rubber boots too

Excellent advice. I get a bit lax at this spot, as it is public land that is off-limits to hunting. The deer don't seem too bothered by my scent. In a heavily hunted area, where the deer are much more wise, rubber boots and scent eliminator spray should be used for sure!
