Same. The regular 4k let's you install till you're under say 500mb. The 4k max? It simply doesn't work if you're under 1.5gb for most streaming apps. Absolute garbage. Especially when it only lets you use 5gb to begin with
Hi, I have uninstalled all the apps I possibly can only ones left are the ones I can’t delete and cleared all of the cache. Then tried to download the explorer app to do the AK installers and it says I don’t have enough space to install it 😬😂😂
Storage is so cheap, how can they only put 4-5 gigabytes? Makes no sense. Horrible product decisions. Makes people not want to buy the product if you can only install 20 apps or less.
The problem is to use firestick it requires an app to benefit its use. The other problem that exists that contradicts that is that by getting that set app, it will mess up your storage. So basically, It's appropriate name is not the firestick it's actually the leave me in my box and never use me stick because I have to require an app that actually ruins the ability to watch because the catch is it'll always end up making storage too full stick. I know that's a very long name, but that's the best way to describe it.
This is why the best thing to do if you're thinking about a firestick isn't don't even think about it and get something else instead that is designed to let you actually use it for what it's supposed to be for. This is why I'm now going to be looking for something else.

I have several 4K firesticks with UGREEN USB hubs most of my apps are on the USB drive. All have pretty much the same apps, and have at least 1GB of internal storage remaining, except for one. Ran all the suggestions for cleaning up my firestick. But can't get more than .9gbs of internal storage. Some suggestions is to do a reset. Any suggestions of why my storage is decreasing? Thanks.
can you somehow have the cache stored to a flash drive or something? or do you have to move the app to the flash drive to do that? can you move an app from internal storage to external flash, etc
what happened to all three of my firesticks is when it would update it got stuck in the update and would not let me log in even after formatting the firesticks it still would get stuck in the updates it would not do let me do anything
Good job at explaining how to delete unwanted apps and clear up the firestick including the Cache, What I do as a finisher is Reboot my Firestick after any cleanup maintenance I do, by holding down the Select Button + Play for 8 seconds it will Restart/boot
This doesn’t help cuz I have hardly nothing on my stick and for no reason my Storage was full

Emptying the cash on 4K Max doesn't work. It always returns.

There's nothing in those folders to delete still getting error msg storage low and there's nothing on my stick
You must restart reboot the firestick after deleting apps so that way it defragments its memory clusters HOLD SELECT + PLAY 8 seconds
I wish you would have said the part about clearing cache and data before uninstalling before the uninstalling part 😂
When I cleared all caches, why did the mb go up out of my 5.28gb usage? It was 500 now 708mb out of 5.28gb available …

When i press mannge installed Applications it does'nt work
815 out of storage cleared data and cache and unused apps still to low on storage
I go to each app as well and install the cache. Since I already have it open. Dont take long to do that at all. Thanks for the video

I have 2.83GB left on 4k Max AND I have external storage of 119gb. I still get this error.
