Each Classic or Vegetarian 'Afternoon Tea at Home' box will contain a selection of tasty finger sandwiches, delicate miniature desserts, homemade buttermilk scones with preserves and Java Republic organic tea. Prices starting at €25 per person sharing.
Available as Vegetarian Afternoon Tea or Classic Afternoon Tea with bottle of Prosecco. Add on a Kids Afternoon Tea Box (serves 2) for €25.
Irish buttermilk scones are freshly prepared each morning in the hotel's kitchens. All the desserts change throughout the year, so see our menus for more information and allergens. A range of freshly brewed coffee and teas available for take away. If needed 'Alfresco Afternoon Tea' boxes can include the napkins, compostable plates, champagne flutes, and cutlery ready for a picnic in one of Dublin’s many parks, beaches or one’s own garden.

Many nations enjoy a good cup of tea with the ingredients sourced from Asia and Africa. Ireland has so much to offer but there's no denying the Irish love tea and have adopted Afternoon Tea as if it were it was of its own making.

@@CastleHotelDublin Yes indeed, Barry`s is a good brew, it makes tea that we call "builders bum" tea. Dark and strong! You can get afternoon tea in the US even, though the Commonwealth nations all do it!

@@jimwalsh8520 Ha ha yes the good old builders love Barry's alright! A cup of it is perfect with our full Irish breakfast. It's no surprise so many countries have adopted Afternoon Tea - it's a lovely way to while away an afternoon with loved ones. There's just a something-something about it. Everyone leaves happy and relaxed and surprisingly some need a take-away box for left overs.
