I have that cream styler. It didn't give me the definition i wanted, BUT when I used it with gel it made my curls super shiny and defined. Plus it cuts my drying time to little to nothing! I love that product!
I went out and bought Texture ID minutes after seeing her video. It is an awesome video. Left my hair feeling very moisturized. My curls were poppin! I never got this with Eco Styler. Texture ID is now my favorite product.

I like the way your hair turned out, my only concern would be did it flake. It was a whole lot of white stuff still on your hair even after you blow dried it.

Yes! Perfect for summer! Try a video with Taliah Waajid curly curl cream as your one product please! I used it with a gel and I got so many flakes, so I think it is good enough or at least better alone.

baybeetricia I noticed a little goes a very long way. The second time I used it I wrapped my hair in a t-shirt for about 10 minutes after applying to absorb some of the product and it dried much faster. It's great under gel as well too.
Did it leave a white case? I’m not sure if it was fully dry in the video because I did see that you’re hair didn’t soak up the product. My hair doesn’t soak products up well.

I finally found it in stock Wednesday (at my THIRD Sally's) and tried it yesterday (also from watching Halfrican's video), and I wasn't crazy impressed as I was doing it, so I ended up adding a little EcoRED, lol. It looks great today after drying overnight. I'm just hoping it lasts as long as hers did 'cause I don't have time to do my hair AT ALL this week.

I used creams and custards in my hair to do my wash and gos.... so easy...one product is all you need and it doesn’t take forever putting three different things in your hair....every gel I used flaked in my hair lol. I stopped that madness right after a couple of months being natural.

a lot of people will just put their hair up in a "pineapple" and allow it to air dry. i prefer to just do it in the morning if you have time. Another way if you have to do it at night is to put your hair in loose twists and take them out in the morning.
So I never use gel for my wash and go because it made my hair dry and my curls are more defined just moisturizing my hair and letting it dry Anyhoo I see everyone's hair still growing with gel so like does gel seal in the moisture so it's only necessary to moisturize the hair once a week or what? Or Is it still necessary to do it twice a week?
no babes gel definitely does not seal in moisture at all lol gel can dry your hair out depending on the ingredients so you have to make sure your hair is still being moisturized throughout the week.
I tried this on Sunday and....it didn't last BECAUSE my hair took to long to dry and I couldn't handle it. I had a job interview in 2 days an that did not dry at all by the middle of the first day (a full 36 hrs) (after full application). Not sure if I went crazy with it or maybe my hair was to wet but I didn't like the wet feeling on my scalp. I should have tried the blow dryer though...I just parted it and twisted it and rocked a twist out (which REALLY did last) the next day. My hair was soft though
i cant answer this truthfully just yet because i had all plans to do a different style the next day for a trip i was going on but if you watch halfrican beaute's video she shows how it held up for a week and it was great!

the front has always been looser and the back a lot tighter. my hair has a whole mind of its own lol and no im Jamaican =)

Anyhoo I see everyone's hair still growing with gel so like does gel seal in the moisture so it's only necessary to moisturize the hair once a week or what? Or Is it still necessary to do it twice a week?
no babes gel definitely does not seal in moisture at all lol gel can dry your hair out depending on the ingredients so you have to make sure your hair is still being moisturized throughout the week.
I saw the same video and I tried texture ID on my hair, that one product did not work to achieve the wash and go. I have 4C hair as well.
i dont have 4c but from the looks and comments about it, 4c hair may need a stronger stickier type of hold.
You let it air dry before you went through with the blow dryer right?
for the most part. i didnt have time to let it 100 percent air dry. i think i mentioned it in the video but i dont remember.

I tried this on Sunday and....it didn't last BECAUSE my hair took to long to dry and I couldn't handle it. I had a job interview in 2 days an that did not dry at all by the middle of the first day (a full 36 hrs) (after full application). Not sure if I went crazy with it or maybe my hair was to wet but I didn't like the wet feeling on my scalp. I should have tried the blow dryer though...I just parted it and twisted it and rocked a twist out (which REALLY did last) the next day. My hair was soft though

Next time you should try soaking your hair more because she said it takes better when its really wet instead of damp

i cant answer this truthfully just yet because i had all plans to do a different style the next day for a trip i was going on but if you watch halfrican beaute's video she shows how it held up for a week and it was great!
