I used this gel regularly over a decade ago back when I was broke and there were way less natural gel options on the market. I remember it performing better than all these new botanical gels I've tried so far. If it didn't have formaldehyde releasers in it I'd still be using it to this day! Honestly, the amount is probably not enough to be problematic, I'm just extra like that.
Your hair is very shiny and the curls are very defined. I still looked great a few days later . Not having to moisturize the hair days later after a wash and with the products is a plus.

Talking about using up the last of our stashes… I have 4 products that I'm trying to use on my hair for next week already lined up. A clay wash which is my main cleanser, a tiny bit of cowash that I'm using because I don't really do co-washes anymore for my low porosity hair, a regular rinse out conditioner, and then my regular deep conditioner. Lord help me...lol. If the day after Thanksgiving doesn't come soon...😅😅😅.

My sister use to use that aloe gel 100% when she first went natural, not sure what she paired it with, but she love the results. When I do my oil pre-poo I have to wash two times with a clarifying shampoo. Wow that turned out great. Love your shirt.

Not similar to me. UFD is a softer hold and gives a more shingled look, in my opinion, and it can be sticky if it doesn't dry down right. Aloe vera gel, is soft hold but not sticky at all and gives a more clumped look to the hair.

Y’all fruit of the loom aloe Vera gel is not the one to use it has dmdm in it which is the one for your body, the ingredient dmdm=hairfall after long term use. Use aloe vera gel that’s specifically for hair use not for body as well

It does have DMDM hydantoin in it but it is so far down on the list and there are no conclusive studies that show in small doses that it causes hair fall. I've never used the pure aloe vera gel as a styler. I have started using the CVS Brand Aftercare Sun Care as a pre-poo with oil.
