You’re the only RUclips video I could find that breaks down the proper picking pattern … which makes a huge difference. Thank you !!
Not blowing smoke - your videos are why I can play so much better now. Your breakdowns are great and really clicked for me. Night and day difference. Thanks for the great content! 👍
Thanks Craig!
You're brave playing The Eagles on RUclips.
Edit: It's a good song, but my favourite bit is Joe Walsh's guitar solo. It rips!
My strike just lifted. I’m taking a calculated risk
Why is Hotel California viral video gold?
What your tuning on that twelve string prior to capo at 7th fret? Sounds great by the way!
It's e standard mate
I enjoy your format. Makes it easier for me to understand.
Oh my God, can't believe that you reproduced the intro so simply but it sounds almost exactly like a full band. Liked and subbed. Also saved in my bookmark for later learning. Thank you.
Great playing . Thank you for sharing .
I'm a bit different but get it to sound good for me, capo on 7th.
Em, B7, D, A, C, G, Am, B7
Just to me this sounds the best (6 string)
I appreciate your attention to detail here and will definitely upgrade my HC game. Also your bravery - downloaded this one because I am not sure how long it will survive :>
I have a strike to give so I’m not worried.
This is amazing! Great job, thanks a lot!!
I am loving your vids. Definitely filling in some of the holes I have skipped over / simplified when playing along to some of my favorite tunes of all time. I would love it if you could breakdown Reminiscing by the Little River Band. There are sections in that song that I just can't get close to. Another song I love but struggle with is Sarah Smiles by Hall and Oats. Would love to see your take on that one too.
Spot on. I've downloaded it this time.
Thank you for the lesson. Could you please post the strumming pattern as I am having hard time following it? Thanks!
That's one good sounding Breedlove.
the 12 string sounds so nice
Yeah but they are tricky to play and a nightmare to keep in tune. Some songs, like this though just sound right.
Great video format! May you teach us how to play Slide with open tunings?
I do hope this stays up .
Fingers crossed
Sorry can some one help me break down the strumming pattern he’s playing in the beginning? It’s been few hours hearing this on the loop and I can’t get it right.😅
The Breedlove was the first 12String I played
Thanks for videos and informative
What I don’t understand is how putting a capo on the 7th fret made it easier to sing if it was out of Henlys vocal range.
Wouldn’t that increase the tonality by 7 semitones making it even higher?
Same here, Felder does it in Am for that reason.
No because he goes down an octave. Think of the open position as the same as if there was a capo on the 12th fret. The you move it down 5 frets. Then Felder moves it down 7 frets.
Increasing the tonality by 7/12 and decreasing it by 5/12 gives the same note just an octave appart
Just the intro? What about the chorus and verse?
Is this the whole song already? Im new to guitar
Is capo a must ?
Yes

How would I play this without a capo?
Copy the same steps without the capo
Don henley is gonna be mad. They'll yank it
Maybe
Hi Anthony, what’s the strumming pattern you’re playing?
Read the tabs
@@Fiftyfifth661the picking pattern is in the tabs not the strumming
Wow- an accurate lesson. So many fudge up this tune. Does he stay with the Capo at 7 after the intro., then mostly strumming chords? There are different versions of the tune online, one is remastered and it's hard to get the sound down, be it Capo 7, or Capo 2- still not sounding just right. I assume this lesson applies to the original song. Don Felder teaches it in Am, but admits, it was done in Bm. ruclips.net/video/3KIT8s1Atbw/видео.html His lesson and stories are great but he does not include any tab so it's Anthony for the win!
Just dont hit the B note on the B7
Sorry, but something sounds terrible... what is that???
😂😂😂 Hunted Hotel
I heard, the quitar seems to be in tune...a little bit Hard sound cause of metal strings. Tell me what disturb you?
It sounds like the studio version to me
Tbh it's probably that "double note" you're hearing. Idk if you noticed, but it is a 12 string guitar. Not a traditional 6 string. That could possibly be what you're hearing
ew! no!!!
What are u talking about it sounds perfect?
