- Ben Bornstein is a special makeup effects artist known for his work on movies like "The Departed" and "The Fighter." Inspired by his work on shows like "Gotham" and "Blindspot," Bornstein demonstrated how he creates and applies realistic fake burn wounds without using CGI. His methods range from tattoos to burnt-up sheets of plastic to complex prosthetic pieces that can take up to four hours to apply.

Endonila Danvie that actually did happen sometimes in the past, though for different reason. Jason Voorhess’s actor from Friday the 13th was actually burned in a scene from Freddy vs Jason because he was lighted on fire for the stunt.

The live action is HORRIBLE. You can nearly see Zukos burn and Sokka isn’t funny. The avatar is just a witty kid in the live action movie and the uncle is probably the WORST PERSON IN THE LIVE ACTION MOVIE. THAT RIGHT I SAID IT! THAT LIVE ACTION AVATAR SUUUCKS

Fantasyalphastudios By White Fox also yeah, everyone knows the 2010 version sucks we don’t talk about it😂 but netflix is currently in production for a NEW live-action version of it, and the original creators of the og cartoon are at the helm of it!!! there isn’t too much info out about it yet, but it looks promising! i think atla fans deserve a good live-action version, especially after the disaster that was the 2010 version

It actually hurts to take it off but taht depends how much glue was applied and the pain tolerance but I know professional makeup artists that do these for a job and they still complain on how much it hurts

Wow very accurate. I had an accident when I was 19 my skirt caught on fire, burning badly all my legs. Lots of skin grafts and scarring afterwards. But these prosthetic silicone pieces are very accurate.

Also out of the kit diy materials used for amateur sfx makeup artists are liquid latex, cotton (pads or balls or other), body/face paint. baby/dusting powder, and water also using face/body casts to specifically cater to the actor/actresses’ personal face/body physical/visual attributes

Tbh, with that amount of 3rd and 4th degree burns, she would have quite immediately gone into shock and eventually died. Especially considering the storyline.

Besides, Christopher Nolan doesn't like to use CGI. He tries to keep things practical whenever possible.
