The one who laughs then stated "You cannot kill me as much as I cannot kill you" meaning both for some reason could "win" in a fight but couldn't KILL the other.
All this while prime was just reliving his own life & after some time, he started to cry, realising that after every bad thing he's done, he doesn't deserve a happy ending so instead of Stealing the one who laughs power, he decided to rather sacrifice his life to cut off most of his power & give the heroes a fighting chance.
