- This is the WM Systems light plus series loading ramp in a High Roof Ford Transit AWD cargo van. The ramp is 47” wide and 126” long with 1,500lbs capacity. This ramp is equipped with standard external swivel and spring assist. The perforated surface is optional.
This ramp system is available globally. We are the North American importer and have local sales and install partners throughout North America. We have a wide range of products to suit all vans on the market with a variety of widths, lengths, and capacities available.

Is this ramp able to drop onto a standard loading dock which is taller than the mounting points/hinge?
Good Question. Yes- It can be used in the "over center" method you describe. This model has a hinge that can be pinned so it stays open. Then it will maintain its full capacity. It is popular for vehicle-to-vehicle transfers, vehicle to porch/deck, and vehicle to loading dock. However- loading dock heights vary and it can be quite steep depending on the situation. I am interested in this ramp but it looks like loading a pallet of a bagged product is questionable to me with out ripping open a bag on either the ramp side or bracket on the right side.

Can I install it myself?
Good Question! We do have install videos available on our RUclips channel for the Sprinter and Transit. The Promaster is coming soon; but is very similar to the Sprinter. We are happy to discuss any concerns and advise on your specific install situation.
