The scoop position of the blade is for clean up and stacking snow. If you had the plow angled left or right, you may find towards the end of your run, you get spill out of snow. Instead of cleaning up that spill out with the straight blade where you can wind up with 2 more spill out rows, you can scoop it with V plow angled out.
Do you still have both the plow and the ranger? If so, I bought this set up, and now in my sixth winter of using it. I love the whole package for snow removal. I have some videos, and updates if you have any questions about longevity, or tips. Good luck.
Curious if you had to do anything else to the front regarding the shocks and sag. I'm getting ready to have one of these installed and am considering some beefier springs/shocks. Thanks...
@@OneLonelyPlumber Thanks thats a nice plow at a fair price was the labor price much and included for the 3 k maybe I install myself should be able save change?
@@OneLonelyPlumber you said it was $3500 in one post, now 3000 and in the last post 3200 lol.. the dealer says this is 4500.. it has never been cheaper then 4500. Soo did you buy it used or something or a carryover model?
@@xGR1MxREAPERx I bought it through a dealer that doesn’t install them. It’s long story but the dealer never made the appointment with the other company to have my plow put on. After waiting for a few months I called the company that’s putting my plow on and they said they were waiting for me to call. So I got it done and they gave me the bill $3000 and I’m like why so cheap(to myself) so I question my dealer and they said they mark it up and because I brought my machine and had it done myself I got it for $3000 or $3200 I can’t remember. So I guess you got me
Okay...THAT is the coolest plow set! Can’t wait to see how it works this winter. Hope all is well. Take care.
It’s definitely pretty cool. Super excited to give it a try. Yes all is well. How’s the wallet?
Gary & Emma Ray awesome! Comfy too. Thanks
Leather broke in nicely.
That’s so great to hear Chuck. Thanks again .

Very cool. Thanks for the tip. This will be my first year ever using a plow. It should be interesting. Thanks for sharing.
Cheers

Thanks now I know what to buy for my Polaris general 1000 series 😎👍
I have a boss plow on my truck. I made a dolly for the plow so I just push the plow into the truck by hand to align it.
Awesome idea Paul. Thanks for sharing
I have exactly the same machine and plow it's 2019 it is a heavy plow ,, but it works beautiful.
That is one cool plow! Congrats and enjoy but we’re still some months away from white stuff...

Used it yet? I have one being mounted as I type this for my General. Wondering about battery draw? Any issues?
No issues at all. Plowed three times and worked great. No complaints. Enjoy, you’re gonna love it.
Why do you buy all these crazy expensive things and put thousands and thousands of dollars into them and then sell immediately lol?
It’s a curse and a bad behavior
