"I try not to pass gas on a trip like this, but sometimes it happens." Delivered with straight face. Perfect!
Seriously, I like that you are not continually trying to get in trouble to raise the drama, as so many vloggers do. Your experiences are relatable and your attitude is just right for me. Keep up the good work and don't worry about passing gas.
I keep saying this is some of the best filming in the ADV community....I strive to get 20% of what you are doing...keep it up!!!!
I lived in Nimpo Lake from 1983 to 86, my parents owned the general store. It’s a special place for sure.
I lived in Nimpo from the year I was born, 1996 until 2010. Which store if you don't mind me asking? The one right off of highway 20 on that short straight stretch overlooking Nimpo Lake? We had a Nimpo general store/gas station with a small hotel attached. I'm hoping that's the one you are talking about, since your parents would have been my next door neighbours as a child!
Spectacular scenery, spectacular filming. Thanks so much for feeding the dreams of ADV riders across the globe.
16:59 Can’t tell if that pun was intentional.
It figures Walterrific would catch that. What is the alternative to passing it? Explosion?
WALTER!!😁
Driving on a empty fuel tank is not fun
Canada has such beautiful and stunning scenery and the people you meet seem so friendly and helpful. An awesome trip, so well documented.
In my 70’s, my riding has been severely affected by Cancer, meaning an hour “in the saddle” is about as much as ai can mange due to pain and fatigue, so trips like yours are just a dream for me at the moment. So following you on your adventures is greatly appreciated and gives me incentive to try to ride a little longer each time I’m well enough to fire my Himalayan up - and my panniers are already packed with essential camping gear for the time I eventually beat this “thing” and can really hit the road again.
Great videos, I look forward to checking my “feed” every morning when I wake up, for your next Vlog 😃👍.
Safe travels and a safe return home. Cheers from OZ 😀🇦🇺👍
I try not to pass gas on a trip like this but sometimes it happens 😂😂😂 love it!
So well done, Sterling. It’s inspiring me to get out that part of the world one day. 😎
I was surprised finding that you already a Canadian 😂 .. and I checked your Channel there is an Episode in BC Canada 🇨🇦..
Seems to be interesting Channel that you have..I'm in a new subscriber 👍🏻
Good luck be Safe💐😊🇸🇦🌴
Wow! You’ve got the best drone footage of the Hill ever. Nicely done!
Schnitzel and a pils - now that’s a nice end to the day! 😃
The drone shots as well as your video are amazing . Beautiful area
Really enjoying the series, and had a good laugh at the 'german beer' reference. As a born and raised western Canadian resident, there is likely no more Canadian beer than Old Style Pilsner beer!! Cheers!
Glad you got some great weather on the trip! Did a road trip there/back 4 years ago on my FJR. For those considering doing the same, be wary of the 40km from Anahim to the top of the hill when raining on street tires. Thankfully, the hill itself is so well maintained that it's almost trivial. If you have a fear of heights, you'll be reminded of it again but it's doable. 10/10, would do again. Sterling, I've been watching this trip in anticipation of both the ferry and this section and love it! Thanks for sharing, as always!
Thanks for a great trip video. Had to laugh at your confusion about “The Hill”!! We road through there last August and stayed in Anahim for a week. Some great riding off hwy 20
17:00 in you said the funniest thing!! It's normal, let 'er rip! I find if I need to do that, it helps to lift yourself off the seat a little. I wonder if people behind me know what's happening. 😅💨
So glad to see that your spirits improved!
Was thinking earlier that this episode was probably more like the ideal you were aiming for & then you shared that exact sentiment at the end. Well done sir, well done.
What the heck ? Love the classical music combined with the drone shots. Once again you’ve outdone yourself. Thanks.
That hairpin footage at 9:15 is fantastic!
I agree, beautiful scenery, epic journey, brilliant documentation and thoroughly enjoyed! Thank you.
Great review of Bella Coola. I try to go there once a year. Also, i agree with your assessment of the campground you stayed in. It's definitely one of, or no the best campground i ever stayed in. Thanks for the great episode. Keep on wheelin.
We are heading to Bella Coola next year. Do you mind sharing the name of that campsite? 12:23
Sterling, your videos are inspirational and entertaining. My Father and I enjoy your content so much. We appreciate the time, effort and love that you put into your videos. Thank you. And keep up the awesome work.

Thanks for another great episode. I love hearing that I’m not the only one who can over-think things as a work of art (“the hill”).
Thank you for another gorgeous episode from your adventure. I appreciate that ten months later, you're reliving your adventure while editing the videos to share with us. Thank you for the adventure inspiration.
Really enjoying sharing in your journey!! Cant wait for more! Thank you,
That is certainly a bucket list ride! Thanks Sterling, watching this from Sydney Australia in my lunch break and feel like I have actually done this journey - job well done.
Hands down my favorite episode thus far, Sterling.
It's great to see the beautiful province of BC, in which I'm privileged to live, showcased so beautifully. I'm enjoying this series very much and I can't wait to watch the rest. Thank you!

You are so good at this! Thank you for making these videos
Favourite video of the series so far, such great work Sterling. The ‘hill’ added a new layer of suspense!!! Thanks so much for sharing the journey.
Another exquisite episode! To me, this is surely the climax of your journey! Thank you very much Sterling! Marc, Quebec, Canada 🇨🇦😉🏍
Sterling, you make me chuckle, you make me wonder at the beauty out there, you make me wish, and you make me feel inspired to up my game from my photo blog to a video blog. I’m really enjoying your channel.
You did well on the vid. It is a beautiful place. So glad you made it up the hill. I wonder where it was. Lot of fairly high altitude farming. Different kind of place. Fun ride. I have a couple friends who have a professional guide service in that area. Lot of giant bears along the logging roads in the high country and all over depending on the time of year. Just maintain safety and a presence of mind that they are always nearby. Be ready.
Stunning footage, especially the intro. I can see you got your Zen back that day.
What can I say….. Awesome Sterling! Wonderful work! Thanks so much…👍
Sterling absolutely a fantastic job in documenting this project.
Bella Coola is on the very top of my bucket list of places to go riding.
Ever since seeing Grizzlee riding to this absolutely beautiful place my soul has been yearning to go. Having seen you do it as well just reaffirms my commitment and ambitions to one day make this trip.
Looking forward to meeting you and Eva one day at the Jonquil.
Much thanks for all you do to inspire us to just get out and do it.
Ride on my friend. 🏍️
Just go, there is a road outside bella where you can ride up to the glaciers, there are grizzlies down in the valleys alongside, amazing place.
Just go.
Fantastic video Sterling.
Nice work I do appreciate it very much.
Definitely going to add Bella Coola to my bucket list for a ride!
Thanks again, safe travels.
Amazing series, Sterling, simply amazing!! 👍👍

Hay...Yes, we all enjoyed this episode! Great work and thank you! I'm now making travel plans in my head, nothing definite but moved off 'dreaming' onto the 'how many days and about how much $$$ it would cost' stage of planning. All the best, looking forward to your remaining episodes...Our best from Canada!
Great episode. Nice work Sterling!
Wow, great drone shots of you riding "the hill". I know while riding it is fun to stop and look at the views. But for you to take pictures and videos for us to enjoy makes for a busy day for you and is much appreciated.
Nice drone footage. Beautiful. Thanks for bringing it to us.
I really like the way how you handle cinematic shots and everything, Sterling. Just want to let you know I never miss any of your videos. I hope the algorithms will be kind to you. It feels like you deserve more subs than what you have now. Please continue. I love your videos so much!!!

Haha, He was coming from the other direction right? Your going down the hill? That random phone booth is funny. It was in good shape. What a cute little inn. The drone work was beautiful.
You're the best Sterling...i follow along every episode
Travel well good job 🎉
And thank you
Thank you for what you do. It feeds the soul of a moto adventurer.
Oh, dear. Pass gas!? Good one, Sterling. Glad you had a Nirvana day.
Another awesome video.. enjoying a different perspective as I did the in and out trip to Bella Coola about 2 weeks after you filmed this.. and .. no there was not another hill 😊 after Heckman Pass.. glad to see you took the time to not motor through the lovely countryside like I did… looking forward to my next trip into Bella Coola
Another interesting and informative video , always waiting for the next one to come up . Thanks for taking us with you . Pete Western Australia
Thanks Pete, I always appreciate your comments!
Nice Video sterling !!👍
Enjoyed this immensely... What a beautiful area and epic ride
Very nice scenery! And being exposed to the elements and smells of nature on a bike, is definitely something I love about motorcycling.
More great content..loving this series.
That whole bit with the hill had me thinking Sterling used some questionable foraged mushrooms in his breakfast 😅
Must say, your BDR films are just great! World class! I am a Norwegian adventurer getting a lot inspiration from your trips. To day travelling at the Norwegian coastline, a bit like BC.
One of my favourite episodes, wonderful trip!
Great episode, Sterling! What a great, long trip! I can only imagine what 40+ days on the bike would be like. One day....maybe. Cheers!
Great videos! You have been very fortunate with the weather on your bike trip. I grew up in Southeast Alaska and spent a lot of time motorcycle riding in British Columbia during my late teenage years. When I was 20, in 1993, I embarked on a solo 20,000+ mile motorcycle trip from Alaska, around the United States, and it was a summer I will never forget. I then spent 10 years in Arizona where I traveled on almost every highway in the state and also did a lot of dirt biking. I finally settled down in a ski town in the Colorado Rockies. Due to family life, I have been out of the motorcycle scene for a few years, except for occasional rides on a friend's bike. Your videos have inspired me to get back into adventure riding and I am looking forward to picking up a new BMW next week. I also produce videos and am excited to take them to the next level on my RUclips channel. Have a great day and keep up the good work!
Cool! Great to hear your story and good luck with the new bike and happy adventures ahead!
Good commentary, artful filming and great music!
Great video as always. Have you ever put together a video on the work flow process you follow getting footage from your GoPro and drone to your external hard drive? Thanks for putting together such cinematic footage. I’m inspired!!
One of your best video’s!
Really enjoyed this one sterling 🇦🇺👍
Great video truly you inspire us
Always a pleasure see your movie...Good Travel mate.
Outstanding drone shots. Wow!
The nuances of this piece were very amusing, fantastic really!!!!
Always amazing cinematography,
interesting choice of music for "The Hill" .. Star Wars's sequence engaged?
The "in and out" of focus at the top.
Raising Arizona, or Blue Velvet vibes I felt..
Planning my second trip to Vancouver Island early July with a ferry trip to places unseen thanks to you.
Cheers and
Thank You for the inspiration, with utmost respect!
There’s more blue velvet coming up …!
Just wanted to comment that I'm really enjoying your videos. Having lived in BC and AB for over 70 years I'm quite familiar with many of the areas you've been but others not so much. And, with a '22 GSA you've opened up some ideas as to where I may decide to head out (after my trip to Tuk this July that is :) ). Anyway, keep the videos coming.
