The best way to improve this is to connect with North East is through Bangladesh. We should have both commercial and passenger trains through Bangladesh
@@mumtazkhan9042 If it is through Bangaladesh Bangaladesh also has the opportunity to use the entire network of Indian Railaway to supply the goods from Bangla.
Superb information Nitin , north east is one of the most important regions in India in today’s context , we need more connectivity , road, bridges , and esp. railways and airports to all the capitals including Sikkim completed immediately.
There are seperate Rajdhani Express now which runs till Agartala and Naharlagun (Arunanchal) and newer Rail lines are being buid in Nagaland and Mizoram
The main trouble for the northeast is the loss of port of Cox's Bazaar. This loss has really taxed the northeast thankfully the government is in talks with Bangladesh and constructing a port in Myanmar for this.
Northeast is a better place anyways. Less population density, not burdened by the cow belt politics, can easily zoom to ASEAN Standards within no time. Its good that GOI has finally woken to its potential and actively encouraging it. All including the 1. South including MAH 2. West excluding Rajasthan (le Punjab, Haryana, Guj, J&K, Himachal) , I will also add Uttaranchal here 3. Northeast can also be easily upgraded to ASEAN standards. Its only the Ganges belt that will continuously be a drag (ie MP, UP, Bihar) and East (West Bengal, Orissa) that are going to be drags.
Even if as of now Quad is not a military alliance as on date everything must be done as if it it were, so that if and when the need arises to work together militarily, with or without a formal alliance, countries can work seamlessly. Strengthening India in terms of equipment, infrastructure, communication, training, intelligence will be in the larger interest of the Quad, because strengthening individual countries strengthens the Quad. Secondly there should be a concerted effort to move supply chains away from China. may not be achieved for a few years but continuous effort is required. China's economy must be weakened by all means. The world must become sufficiently independent of China to be able to impose economic costs in case of further aggression. Thirdly the world must reject the One China Policy which it has tacitly and openly accepted. The issue of Tibet's freedom must be brought to the front in the international forums and pressure kept up on Hong Kong and Taiwan. Fourthly, China's stonewalling of expansion of the UN Security Council must be countered. Without India and japan the Council is loosing relevance.

Don't be too sure...
"Cow belt" which place is this exactly?
Don't predict too much. The drags could become the engine someday
this is the typical "ricebags" tongue.

Kaladan project progress ?
Not much.
Shouldn’t the border with West Bengal be the calculation of the % rather than the Suliguri corridor to the NE?
@Kontolman Kontol not seen shithole like you, who used spamming everywhere.
Seeing india through Rose colored Glasses?
