After watching you and Sarah, I've decided I need to do at least one of each. Both look like fun projects! Thank you for your instruction. My way of making things are a lot like yours. Just do it, no need to measure. I'm from Utah in the States and I just love listening to your accent and the words you use that are different then what I grew up with. It always brings a smile to my face. Today I think it was " wiffy" that caught my attention. We might say stinky or smells. I like yours better! Thanks again, you're great!!
Lulu's hibiscus is gorgeous. She definitely inherited the creative gene. I love the box idea!! Yours looks fantastic!! AND I AM SO HAPPY TO HEAR YOU'RE PLANNING A VOLUME 6!!! Thank you!! Hugs ❤❤❤❤❤
This project is a perfect union of your junk journaling and stitchery tendencies. Maybe this is a new genre? We could call it "Sunk Jitchery!" LOL Cheers ❤
Lulu has her mother's gift for stitching ❤ Also, the boxes are a great idea. I love making them. I've never done a fabric one, only paper ones for scrapbooking supplies. My great grandmother, when the family cleaned out the estate after she passed, had made one with doily and thread crochet scraps as a photo memory box of her daughter who had passed. They are so beautiful, Rachel. I can't wait to follow the process with you 😊
This is a wonderful idea. I was given a small doll suitcase from a step grandma. I think it's time to get it out of storage. I love Lulu's stitching project. She's very talented, like her mom. Thank you for sharing how to work around corners
This project came at the right moment. I have two boxes I want to cover. I like the idea of doing a collage on the inside and fabric on the outside. I can’t wait to have fun doing this project!
O this is so exciting - here we I go again down another rabbit hole! Have never seen anything like this, and can't wait to follow your journey. Thank you so much Rachel and Sarah for taking us on this journey...so inpriring! Best wishes, Kate from Australia. xxx
Hi Rachel,it was so nice to hear Lulu’s voice, she sounds so sweet! Her embroidery is beautiful! Your project is going to be beautiful! Thank you for sharing & have a wonderful day!🤗💜🌻💕
Lilla here love the box idea will start work asap finished my April bag too. tried to link but it did not work, thanks anyway for the inspiration Lilla
Really love your paper lined box ..Great prompt your lily is a treasure ,,, my biggest regret in raising our children was, I was so busy making all their and our clothes I didn't take the time to teach them .. they are intellectuals in their 40s and one taken up cross stitch another hand mending occasionally and the other an artist but!!! I could have taught them so much ,
I love covering boxes! Usually with paper but watching this I remembered that I covered a box in fabric some years ago as kind of a journal cover for two little stitch books. Totally forgot about it! I also loved seeing Lulu’s beautiful flower embroidery, she’s pretty amazing already! Thanks for showing the books as well, I am now reading Fleur’s one, super inspiring. Love all you do Rachel, can’t tell you enough how much you have inspired me the past few years and gotten me through some rough times (much better now). Big hug, Machteld💖🍀
I love your project. I use Stamperia rice paper torn and reassembled to cover cigar boxes. Never occurred to me to use the paper I order from you to cover the boxes 🙃. I really like the collage look of your box. Our craft stores here in US have wooden boxes to paint or collage on hmmmmm….❤
Lulu's hibiscus is gorgeous, and your box is coming along. Could you use fabric washi tape to fit into the harder spots ? Thanks for sharing, Rachel. 🙂♥️
That was a mammoth job Rach. So good. I can’t wait to do this one. So happy that I have the glue stick that you gave us in your class. Also happy to hear you and Sarah will be doing volume 6. I love all the ideas I get from you both. Xx 😘
This is really a fun project🤗 using paper and fabric together. So, so sweet of Lulu 💗 to give you her beautiful embroidred flower. I am still working on my little embroidered handbag - and 2 new scrapbooks (it has taken me so long to assemble all the pages in the biggest of them😂😳😉), so I will have to miss out on the cute box🌸🌺🌼🥰
Oh my goodness Rachel, simply gorgeous. So many talented people making beautiful stitchery, its amazing. I know yours will be just as gorgeous, Rachel. Lulu's is simply wonderful, great talent in your family. I admire you for being able to do so many nice things. Could you do one of the boxes with just all paper? Can you use geso to cover all the paper to make it strong? Thank you for sharing such a great ide, enjoy your day Rachel.
I don't usually watch on Wednesday's because I have arthritis in my fingers so stitching is hard. I saw the box and.thought it looked interesting so have really enjoyed watching you cover the box. Will watch the whole series. Thank you for the very interesting project💜💜💜💜💜
No actually I couldn’t see. The picture was cut off because the camera was a bit close so I couldn’t see some areas as you worked on them. Just saying not complaining.
I used to decorate insides of cigar boxes with meaningful innards. Gave to friends. Loving them.

Where can I find Sarah’s videos? You refer to them, but so far I’ve not been able to locate them! Loved the box by the way!!
They are all in the Vol 5 palylist and her channel is linked in the description box
A craft or stanly knife is what you need for fidly buttressing bits like the handle
I have them but they are always blunt lol!
❤❤😊
Brenda: what is the kind of really good clue stick that you use?
Giotto
