It’s all in the details and you’re terrific at it. But after these past 100 days, you’re gonna need a much needed rest. Thanks for sharing all your ideas and inspiration.
I absolutely love this 7 pocket project! I'm especially excited because it works with single sided printed paper! I have so many 6x6 and 8x8 paper pads .. now I have another great project to use them for! 😊
The "real" whale tail tab punch is by EKSuccess. I bought mine when they first came out! Somebody has just made a tab punch that style, but the single side. Not folded. I can't remember who! Surely it won't be too hard to find!
I had to make this as it seemed quite easy yet attractive....and it was. My only comment is that I used cardstock instead of scrapbook paper, which is my preference. However in this case, with all the folds, a lighter weight paper would have been better. I will just have to make another! Thank you.
Just discovered you and subscribed ! Love your tutorials and now I want to get the whale tail die set !! Such a great idea. Thanks for sharing your talent 🤗
These are great!!! Stunning!!! My 6x6 papers don’t seem to go with me any more. And they don’t have a good match/blend for the few I like but I really do want to make some of these. ❤🐈❣️
This one didn't work out so well for me. I think my paper pads have thicker paper and when I creased it, the pattern broke along the edge. It was also WAY too thick to think about putting in a journal after all the folding etc. I still like the idea, and how you can change something so much by just rounding corners and putting a punch of two in. :)
They are so cute! First time I watch your videos and I think you are amazing. Thanks so much for sharing, you have a new subscriber. Regards from Santiago de Chile.
I have just discovered you here on RUclips, and love your videos! 💚 Could you please help me find the video where you made the project shown here at 31:45? I have tried to search myself, but there are so many videos. You have really been busy 😀 Thank you for sharing so much inspiration 💙
Meant to add...the 2x8 strip left from cutting down 12x12 is great to make tags or cut tabs from. Very little to no waste. Of the original 12x12 sheet.
You never told us how to make the little pockets on the other page. Therefore, it’s an impossibility at this point could you show me how to do that? Thank you. I appreciate you.
Can you tell me why you folded each piece in a little before gluing the sides together? I attempted 3 of these, none very good lol and didn't do the folding. I also found it easier to attach the brads, punch the notches, and glue everything at the end. I'm still practicing.
Love Love Love This! It was so much fun to make. I used 8 x 8 paper so my pockets are just under 4" wide and I used the same Cathe Holden stamps but instead of numbers I used the large word stamp and cut them apart so it looks like labels on file folders that say Received, Inspected, Paid, Filed. You are an amazing inspiration. I find it very hard to come up with original ideas but your projects leave room to make it my own. Thank you so much for sharing your ideas and talent.
So cute, when you said 7 pockets I thought you were crazy. 😊. As they came together, it was magic. I'm going to make some for journals I'm working on. Thanks for sharing.
I love these little pockets. I just made one (after watching this video) for the mini file folder journal I'm making my step-Mom. Thank you for sharing.
Such a small pocket project, but that’s not good enough for you! You take it up to the top with amazing creativity and details!! They are stunning! Is Gunther getting one? 🤗❤️❤️❤️
Miss Margreth, I love it. So easy I can even do it. I think the one that has a letter / writing on it should go in Gunther's journal. It looks like it would do for it. Thank you for sharing and God Bless. 🥰💖💯💯💯💯💯👍👍👍👍👍🐞🌹🦂🌵
I heard that when using the score board you score on the opposite side that you want to bend. So, on this project, for example, you would have scored on the pattern side of the paper and folded backward. I guess it has something to do with the grains of the paper and how you're bending them. Lovely project! I enjoy watching other people craft to get my creative juices flowing.
Thank you. I paused several times, but made one without all the bells and whistles. I appreciate that you made two -- it reinforced the process. Now, Im going to do battle with all the bells & whistles -- confidently.
New subbie, love this project!! But may we discuss THE MOST IMPORTANT PART of this video: the beads on your glue pin!!! How did you attach those? I lose my pin EVERY. TIME. I. CRAFT. 😂😂
HI. Yeah, I have a few 6x6 lol... we'll leave it at that. The Whale Tail punch was from Stampin' Up!... long ago retired. I got this die set from Spectrum Art Creations. They do a live sale every Saturday afternoon. Unlike the Stampin' Up! punch, these dies offer multiple sizes, which I love. Thanks for showing. Creative Blessings!
✨🌼❣️Fabulous❣️🌼✨ Yep! -On my list and its done ✨❣️❣️❣️✨ Thank you very much Margreth 🤩🙏 Its so a cute one and ill made so many alredy and more to do 🤩✌️ Love use all my 6x6 😅 Thanks a lot for share this idea, its sooo cute ✨❣️❣️❣️✨
Oh my word, LOVE LOVE LOVE what you've created ❤ Had 6x6 hideous pad paper right in front of me and made what you did. WOW they just turned out absolutely gorgeous. Thank you so much. Oh I've just subscribed to your channel because you are brilliant beyond brilliant. Have a gorgeous day 😊
Super leuke pocket tutorial! Groetjes Maia
I loved this! I think I will do it cutesie style for my grandchildren for Valentine’s Day. I was thinking of making coupons for fun activities and treats. My grandchildren are 3 & 5 and I think they would enjoy redeeming “Nana’s” tickets. Thank you so much for the inspiration. This is my first visit to your channel and I subscribed immediately.
I just stumbled onto your RUclips channel... OMG, what a Rockstar you are. This project is super cute. Love it. I have so many 6x6 papers of all types. Also, the circle idea if you don't have tab die. Genius!
WOW, so impressed with what you create. Love, love, love these pockets with all the brads, makes them look more business like!!! Am going to love watching your videos. Thanks for sharing!!!
I used this idea to use up some 4 inch strips left from cutting 12x12 paper down to 8x10. I cut each strip 4x12 strip in half and folded pockets like you did except not with doubled paper. Punch notches, decorated and glues together. When adding to pages I got 4 pockets by gluing down bottom and both sided. Or 3 pockets and larger side tuck by gluing top, bottom and one side. Or they can be used as gift card holder in a card. Pop in a note and two gift cards at at showers. Example a gift card to shop for new baby and one for favorite restaurant of the parents at a baby shower plus a note to parents.
This is such a simple idea and yet so useful!!! After seeing this idea I set to make some. I have made quite a number of these over the last few days.... all out of some 6x6 paper pads. Then as an experiment .... I tried making one using papers out of a 12x12 paper pad. And although it is large.... it would have it's use in a much larger journal. So no matter the size of paper..... as long as it is square.... it is great to use to have plenty of pockets on just one page!!! Love it!!!!
I just wanted to follow up with you. I have shared this video with so many people. I just recently joined a new group of ATC swappers. The first that I sent out my swap I put in this holder and I got a lot of request for directions on the folder so I sent them your way. They are great to mail out a Kepps, the atc’s’s flat, and helps protect them as well. Thank you again.
It’s all in the details and you’re terrific at it. But after these past 100 days, you’re gonna need a much needed rest. Thanks for sharing all your ideas and inspiration.

Fantastic project. You 7 pocket for journal turned out gorgeous. . Love the hardware on the pockets. 👍🏻👍🏻

This is me, but in my case, always second guessing the wheel instead of remaining in the passenger seat and doing as told. 😂😂😂😂
Just discovered you and subscribed ! Love your tutorials and now I want to get the whale tail die set !! Such a great idea. Thanks for sharing your talent 🤗
Welcome to my channel dear 😊
With those tabs, I see necks and shoulders. It would be cute to do clothing designs and necklaces on them.
These are great!!! Stunning!!! My 6x6 papers don’t seem to go with me any more. And they don’t have a good match/blend for the few I like but I really do want to make some of these.

What a fabulous project! I’m going to give it a go for sure!
Love your channel. However l find them too long, perhaps leave out some obvious verbal explanation & just demonstrate
My videos are always around 50 minutes love. That is just my style of making video’s
You never told us how to make the little pockets on the other page. Therefore, it’s an impossibility at this point could you show me how to do that? Thank you. I appreciate you.
This project might be in my top 5 next week 😜

If you fold a piece first , it will make for more room in the pocket 😁👍🏻
Lovenomeasirigneededjusyeyeballlu g folks eventually glue it down!
Sure 🙄
awesome video!
Thank you so much Pam. 🥰
So versatile. I will use them in my planners, journals, folios, and cards! Love them, too.
Lovely pockets ❤️
What clear stamps with the numbers do you use for this project please? They are pretty cute 🙂
I am sorry lovey , this video is old I can’t remember 🤔
Hello! New to your channel! I love your glue bottle dangle. Do you have a tutorial for making it? Thank you!
I do, just search for “ dangle” there are 2 videos . And welcome to my channel dear 😘
This is so fun to make! I used half pearls instead of brads as I didn't have any the right colour. Really happy with the outcome - in my ideas book!
Thanks for this, it was easy and beautiful! I didn’t have the brads so I used small buttons and it worked well!
Cool 😁👍🏻
These are cute, I like quietness a lot of RUclipsrs talk a lot more than they do their crafting, can’t learn like that! New subscriber ❤
Thanks 😊
Those are very cool! LOVE the difference that the brads make!!

What kind of metal tips do you use on your glue bottle? I am a newbie and I love the control of the glue the tip helps with
It comes with the glue bottle 👍🏻😊
This is such a great idea! I’m so glad I found your channel!i love it! Tfs!
😁👍🏻😘
Great idea!! I can see many uses for these pockets. A great addition to any journal. Thank you for sharing.
😊👍🏻
I love these little pockets. I just made one (after watching this video) for the mini file folder journal I'm making my step-Mom. Thank you for sharing.
My pleasure 😇
Such a small pocket project, but that’s not good enough for you! You take it up to the top with amazing creativity and details!! They are stunning! Is Gunther getting one? 🤗❤️❤️❤️
Yep 😁👍🏻😘
Just tried this and realized the key word is cheap paper…mine was too thick to fold properly…my bad 😢
☺️👍🏻
@@SevenplazaCreative it still worked out…I ended up turning it into library card style pocket…will definitely try again tomorrow with thinner paper
Hi Margreth. I need some 6x6 papers now. ❤
😁

😊😘
How did you make the tabs? Is it a special punch?
Yes from Vaessen Creative
Miss Margreth, I love it. So easy I can even do it. I think the one that has a letter / writing on it should go in Gunther's journal. It looks like it would do for it. Thank you for sharing and God Bless. 🥰💖💯💯💯💯💯👍👍👍👍👍🐞🌹🦂🌵
🥰
Do you have a video on how to make the glue pin jewelry thing????
Yes, I even have 2 of them. Search for glue dangle on my channel and you will find them 👍🏻😁
I heard that when using the score board you score on the opposite side that you want to bend. So, on this project, for example, you would have scored on the pattern side of the paper and folded backward.
