Thanks for the video. Do you know what the black round thing is called that sticks out through the cover you remove in the beginning? I have one missing and one broken, would like to order new ones.
I would also like to add that in this vehicle after replacing a light bulb, the switch should turn off for five minutes and then turn on, to erase the fault. Otherwise the bulb will not work.
My brake light is out and can't find the car when I put reg in and someone said it might be led, I haven't a clue, can I buy just a random brake bulb to try? Sorry if a daft question, I've the same car as this in the video
Need to check that voltage is getting to the light assembly... using a test light. Could be that it is a led one, those are not easily replaceable... in most cases... 👍👍👍
Hi, I love watching your video's and I was wondering do you have any video on what to do after replacing the old head unit with a aftermarket one replacing it was the easy bit but I'm having trouble telling the car to stop looking for the old one as the spanner light is always on. Thanks.
Hi I would like to ask you if you can help me I have 2018 Peugeot 5008 I would like to find the two bins are in the BSI For looking and unlocking is this possible because I would like to connect new system I bought I found all the wild except the central looking wires Thanks
@@LMAutoRepairs I don't know how to do that... Do i test it with a multimeter? Do you have a video how to do it? I did see the ground wire burnt a little, and when i push it inside with power, the brake light is working. Thanks for your time
Clean the contacts, and make sure they are making proper contact with each other... Yes, you measure with a multimeter... But if the contacts are burnt, tha my be your problem... 👍👍👍
@@LMAutoRepairs thanks a lot for your help 🙏 do I set the multimeter on DCV & 20? And what colours do I need to check? I have brown, red, pink, green. Thank you brother
20v dc should do... One wire should be a ground... just check you have 1 with continuity to chassis... Then the others should be battery voltage to the bulbs...
Where can i buy the brake pedal activation device? Can i just use an old broom handle and swap the eeprom over from my toaster (obviously after ive flashed the brake pedal activation firmware of course)???
Sound like you cracked it... I can send you the flash files for this type of brake pedal activation... I have the latest versions al well... Just make sure you change the bytes on address 0x0F23 to 01 on the EEPROM... you should have 00, which means no update allowed... change it to 01 and should work ok... 👍👍👍
You should install new bulb in gloves. Fingers are leaving skin oils on the glass and this causing to heat up bulb in the place of fingerprints more. That is also cause for blown bulb (more in case of headlights bulbs have to say)

Hi, i changed the bulbs but it still doesn't work, i think its the connector plug.
Do you have a video how to change the connector?
Don't think I do... but before you blame the connector, have you measured that power and grounds are at the connector?
👍👍👍
