Continue To Rest In Peace The Legendary Mary Wilson ⭐⭐⭐⭐ and keep singing up there with the lovely Florence ❤️❤️❤️. These are all my favorite songs with mary on lead 🌸🌸🌸.
Mary had a fantastic voice as well as a great personality. Her Motown Anthology is excellent- what a pleasure to hear her voice up front .Her solo discs are all wonderful. I have been a fan since 1965 .
Today, this morning I woke to hear that my Supreme Lady Mary Wilson has passed away. Death came like a thief in the night and took my baby Love Queen Miss Mary Wilson home . You will be missed but you will not be forgotten Miss Mary Wilson.
He's My Man and Don't Let My Teardrops Bother You are 2 of my favorites from The Supreme Queen, Miss Mary Wilson. It's my first time hearing Tears...and I LOVE it!
The wonderful part of this is.. Mary can sing -- Flo can sing and Diana can sing---- But together they were LEGENDARY.. TOO BAD NO ONE GOT IT !!!! back then.
Mary Wilson is a class act from beginning. She is warm, intelligent and caring. I love to listen to her interviews as well as her beautiful singing voice. At 75 she still performs.
So nice to hear Ms. Mary Wilson singing lead. I only wish Mr. Gordy had let each one of The Supremes show their talent back in the day but the decision was his and the industry's! The hands of time can never be turned back...such a shame that one of the ladies suffered a tragic middle and end to the era-talking about Ms. Florence Ballard. So glad that the other original Supreme got to shine and is around to tell and perform-Ms. Mary Wilson. All three ladies were fabulous performers and so very famous in spite of Ms. Diane Ross singing lead in all the songs. The harmony of the group is so enriching too.
@EgyptPrinceT, thank you for posting these performances by the living legend Ms. Mary Wilson. It's funny because all 3 of the Supremes were born around the same year as my mom, one a little before and it amazes me how they (the Supremes) can be frozen in time because of their celebrity status! Such ambitious women who made their dreams come true and yet how sad the back story can be - for each of them really. I'm glad Ms. Wilson got to tell her story and with such class. Some have and may feel that she was bitter - I feel that she spoke from her heart and just told the truth. She had such class because she spoke about all that surrounded her during that time and still kept the story on herself as a Supreme. I am about to read the book by Ms. Ballard - I didn't even know she had done an interview within a year before her passing. It took him a while before it was published. I'm about to read more truth than fiction from her heart. I wish that her girls had fared better after the passing of their mom. Hopefully after all this time, they are now. Thank you again for posting the songs. Take care and enjoy your day!
Cheryl Grady , Oh shut up stupid. They all sang lead in the beginning. Gee, which tracks ended up charting? The ones that happened to have Diana's lead vocals
Wow BroccoliQueefed! Whatever did I say for you to label me as stupid! I am aware that these wonderful women ALL sang lead in the beginning...does someone have to write out everything in order to get a point across? Well, it seems for you, one has to. I also am well aware of how the industry work and what worked is what Mr. Berry Gordy did. And as for the tracks that ends up charting....well there are experts in the field of music who manipulate the sound and a whole lot of other things behind the scenes to make sure the people buy the records and such. Have a wonderful day and stop being so mean. It is totally unbecoming.
@@cherylgrady7018 Mary Wilson has a backup singers voice. The Supremes became famous after Diana became the lead singer. Stop living in la la land because Mary can sing ok.
Good morning @Ruth Avery. Thanks for the response. Fortunately for me, I am not living in "La-La Land" my dear. Accolades was given to all the Supremes and I was just expressing my thoughts about Ms. Wilson with her career now. I'm not quite certain the undertone you are implying with your last sentence--and for the record, the group was already famous before Ms. Ross was given all the lead vocals. Ms. Ross had that nasal, high pitch sound that the industry knew would go well with the younger audience and it paid off for sure! I've heard Ms. Florence Ballard, Ms. Mary Wilson, and Ms. Diana Ross singing when they were younger and each one of them brought something special to the group. Thanks again and enjoy your day.
I totally agree, she put a hurting on that song. Too bad it was her last as a Supreme but I wish she would put it in her playlist. More power to Mary Wilson.
Her performance at The Frontier Hotel brings back so many memories!! Had the double white covered album when it was first released!! Mary Honey: YOU WAS TERRIFIC!!! R.I.P.
Thank you Egypt PrinceT.....I love all of Ms Mary Wilson's leads as THE SUPREMES but the one she's truly showcased as the the sultry, smoky, ballads master she is, shines under the production of the great Jimmy Webb (McArthur's Park) on their THE SUPREMES album when she delivers "I'll Keep It Hid"............MASTERPIECE!!!!!!! THANKS FOR YOUR EXQUISITE COMPILATION!!!!!!
My favorites are: We should be closer together ( duet with Susaye Greene ), You are the heart of me, I don't want to loose you, He's my man ( duet with Scherrie Payne ), Early morning love, This is why I believe in you ( duet with Scherrie Payne ) and You turn me around.

The Fantabulous Mary Wilson Of The Super Superior Supremes Will Trully Be Missed. Mary And The Supremes Will Always Be One Of The Greatest Female Groups Of All Times.
There was a lot of songs that the Supremes had in the 70's specialy round when disco came out that should have been hits but Motown did not really promote them and Mary Wilson has always been a class act! And her lead on You are the heart of me is just Beautiful!!
Yes you are so right!!! The Supremes would've been HOT during the Disco Era but Motown wasn't pushing them. Former lead singer of the Supremes Jean Terrell wanted to leave Motown and change the name of the group. But Mary was still loyal to Motown during that time and during that time 'The Boss' was being pushed so she couldn't have any in-house competition...Smh RIP Mary and Flo.
Berry Gordy really should've been savvy enough to utilise ALL 3 very distinctive voices of the Supremes to maximum effect. Too many times Diana was asked to sing songs totally unsuitable for her. If Berry had used Diana's distinctive high nasal sound on the hit singles but also given both Flo & Mary a couple of songs each per album then we would've had a more rounded group with even greater appeal. 8 tracks for Diana and 2 apiece for Flo and Mary would've suited everyone I'm sure and given the group more artistic credibility maybe even maintaining harmony (pun intended) amongst the girls. Possibly even one close harmony track on each album too- A golden opportunity missed.
My Mom Had me to Detroit in 1960 from Mississippi and the first songs were the Supreme. I hated that diana left the group but I know that everyone has their life to live.. But I still love the Supreme music even today. To me anyone with the Supreme I will consider them The Supreme. I am going to miss her like I did the first one Cindy Birdsong who was the first to die.
My favorite Supremes lead by her is the sublime ballad “You Are the Heart of Me,” a Dionne Warwick cover, from the group's last album, 1976's “Mary, Scherrie and Susaye.”
MARY WILSON 1. Time To Move On 2. A Heart Like Mine 3. Still Waters 4. The Tears 5. Don't Let My Teardrops Bother You 6. You Are The Heart Of Me 7. Pretty Baby

A couple of points about the tears. One, Mary absolutely tears the house down on this song! Such a wonderful doo wop number. She soars. Too, it's amazing is Mary is singing lead on that song, Diana Ross's voice just pops out of me in the background! She just sounds so cute and there isn't another singer alive that just grabs your ear the way Diana's voice does. 3, the cheers is better than at least half of the songs on Meet The Supremes. It's a bit baffling some of the songs that actually made the final track listing on that album, because The Tears, Heavenly Father, Save Me a Star, and Those DJ Shows are amazing and deserved a place on that album.

I love and miss my Sweetie Pie Pisces Sister Marvelous Mary and Flowering Flo I was not a Diane Ross groupie. No disrespect just feelings
Wish she would’ve spoken up for Florence. Then again, she would’ve been out of the Supremes too.
BBC Radio 4 just paid the crappest tribute I ever heard .
played a song led by Diana Ross and mentined nothing more about this womans individual musical career and her countless other acomplishment . Well done Radio 4 .

Mary and Florence were the pretty ones ....Diana was too thin wasn't attractive even with her bad treatment of Florence
Background singer...her voice has no pathos to sing lead.
RIP Mary Wilson
