These Color Bursts are MAGICAL and I think they put a hex on me!! I am totally obsessed with them and use them almost every day!! Even if all I do is make backgrounds with them. I know that I will use them to die cut or stamp on. They are so fun to play with and I am totally excited that there are now 6 new colors!! I am going to burst if I don't get my hands on them soon!!

Hi Laurel ~ What a great technique! I never (ever) would have thought to use salt before....but boy, did it work out well with these colors. The Color Burst powders are awesome and I've never seen them used before. (The big box craft stores are 50 miles away and it's about 80 to a "real" card/scrap store!). Thanks for sharing this fun technique! Off to steal the salt shaker from my kitchen and see if I an make it work with some other "paints!"
Maggie Baxter Let me know if you had any success with other mediums! Thanks for the comment!

I thought it was perfect after that bit of purple fell off the top when you opened it! It looked like a tree on a sunny day.
Loved the final card too! So much fun!!! Now it looks like a picture of the galaxy!
Roberta Eldridge I said galaxy before I watched the whole thing and then I heard you say the same thing! Ha, ha.
Roberta Eldridge No, you aren't the only one super excited about the outcome! It's AWESOME!!!
The card turned out great. Haven't tried salt yet, but I've tried using cling film over paper that has Brusho on it (similar to colour burst) and that turned out well for a background. You were brave using those colours together!
Wow...those are so cool! I've never seen anything like that before. Thanks and God bless!
Sooo pretty!
Cool card, color burst!
Very pretty. Love the color bursts and I think I would have been worried seeing that deep purple before knowing how it would dry. TFS
