I really enjoyed watching this video and can't wait to get my hands on Ken's Color Bursts. Next weekend I am going to a stamp show and these babies will be coming home with me. Thanks Julie, love your inky fingers.
I do have all 6 colors and I love them they are super addicting but you have taught me a lot of different ways to use them here so thank you very much for that which means I have to pull them back out again and start playing!
Oh Julie, I can say firmly that your videos are my FAVORITE videos EVER. Love your personality and your way to approach to things! Thanks for being so AWESOME !!! hugs Zoey
So cool! I have watched a lot of tutorials for this product but you really take it to another level! I had no idea that you could use them in so many ways. I have just been making backgrounds and embossing images and then covering them in one color. But you, girl, you really take the cake! Love it, love you, wanna be you for Halloween!
Hi Julie, the water wicking away is called lifting. Also your camera is having trouble focusing because of the large white pallet paper. It messes with the white balance of the camera. If you notice every time you move the tag over top the pallet paper it has no trouble focusing. Thanks for sharing!
Loved the information on the Ken Oliver Craft pigment powders and I definitely will be purchasing some. However I did get a little sea sick watching the video at first...actually almost turned it off to go vomit...but held in there because I know your videos are so full of information and testing outcomes. I love the Brother Scan and Cut, the Gelli Plate, and all your other play toys and even remember you on a PBS scrapbooking show years ago. So please keep up the good work and information on my kind of toys in life, just a more stomach friendly video machine. You are a great and talented artist. Thank you for what you do and Keep going!!!
As your video came up as result of a search, I haven't seen you before. You have great enthusiasm & I think I need to see more of what you create. Also, I have never heard of this product! Probably because I am in UK & things don't always come our way. I'm kinda grateful as last thing I need is another addiction that'll cost money, lol. That said, of course I will have to research them! It would be rude not to right? Ty for your demos & letting us watch you play. C😊
+Pam Thorburn, thank you for info. I actually have some brushos & wondered if similar. Of course now these colour bursts are also available here. May HAVE to get some? Ty. Caroline.
Thanks for showing these - was curious about them. The only problem I have with using pigment like this is that airborne pigment particles aren't so good for you, so I would feel the need to wear a mask (no rainbow snot for me!). The colors seem excellent, though so it might be a good option to have available.
Hew weee! now this looks like fun! I can keep my hands clean or not! Real new at multi-media? I am a grandma (63) quilter, and have been looking for ways to color some very small wall quilting projects. But then I saw you demo Ken Oliver's Color Burst and enjoyed viewing something real new. I looked at Amazon but I didn't see but two colors, I am thinking Id like to order the line IF I can.. Got any clues for me please. BTW your fun to watch, here it is 3:30 am N.CA time, this is "way whacky whew" huh?! good demo Thank you Dino
If you're a "more is more" girl, You need to do a RUclips search on BRUSHO CRYSTAL COLORS. Same stuff, way more colors, less expensive... Got mine at Dick Blick.
Wow. I wish I'd watched this 5 years ago. I never thought of adding it to acrylic mediums. Great idea!

set your focus on your camera then turn it to manual so the focus won't change.

Awesome
what are tags used for? fun but used for what?
For presents for example. When you give a present to a friend you have a tag on it, right? So, these are wonderful and unique hand made art tags.
interesting..thanks
Cool demo but the cards and supplies are moved so fast in the video closeups... that my eyes don't have time to focus.
