      Same here I was kicked out of our family home 2016 when I was doing my final year by my dad so when ever I lost my job he would tell me that I am a woman I should hussel like other women and that he does have extra food for me. I thank God for my partner as he has been there for me against all odds he's a wonderful father to our kids as well

    It’s so unfortunate that they were not well informed on how to handle the situation cause it would’ve been prevented
    Prayer is so powerful and this things can manifest in the future generations. I recommend you break that curse completely so that your children’s lives won’t be affected

    I wish I can get strength to tell my story. I even did something so horrible that I will never forgive myself because of the hatred from both my parents. I was supposed to be sentenced life in prison today because of what I did but by the grace of God all that didn't happen. Madam speaker please invite me to your podcast I need to tell my story😭💔

      I don't think it's blaming others ey but rather looking at the cause and effect of everything. I believe that one can't heal what one does not know. Even God reveals, through prophets, apostles, teachers, etc, certain issues in our lives, with the aim to redeem us.

    My mother controls everything everything is about her it has to happen when she wants and how she wants it. Her husband died before he died he told me the way im treated here you'll see it oneday. Your mother loves someone with money but when you run out of money she will make your life miserable. He wasn't lying

    My own mother once said: banana Ba zama kantle ka mo, sebedisa seo o nang le sona. I remember I only wanted xmas clothes as she just came back for holidays mind you my granny raised me. So my story is so similar to hers in almost all aspects. But we grow up and say MAY WE NEVER BE LIKE THEM AND BE BETTER THAN THEM!!!

I had a great mum who told me the dangers of how men can use you and if you need money, come and ask her. That is what made become very independent. I would look at a suspeciously if a man offered me money. Up to today money is the last thing I look forward to. A good man is what is important, it is never about money. That helped me find a good man.

      Got married at 17 to someone who was 10 years older. My Mom was happy when I left because I think the weight was off her shoulders. That lady despised me for looking exactly like my Dad. She would even take me to her mother's village just because she couldn't stand seeing me since I was a baby and she would claim that her Mom hated her then she does the same to me! Those 40s 50s and 60s Moms were straight from hell well not all of them.

    A sad story but reality to many families, mothers can be so cruel! Then people will say " bust she's your mother" and that is what make us keep quiet and die in silence!
    My mother hates me too but since she is unemployed now, she is tolerating me so I can put food on the table and for her. While she was working she didn't care where I lived or anything. Thank God she didn't raise me but the trauma she has put me through as an adult is too much! I thank my grandparents daily for the good childhood they afforded me❤

      @mookhukumpi9936 It is mental breakdown. It can happen to anyone. My sister had a mental breakdown as well and was helped at a mental hospital. Unfortunately we interpret it differently. My sister went crazy and almost killed my mom. Thank God she was given tablets and they calmed her down. She had to take them for the rest of her life. Fortunately she didn't have any children. So mental health is real.

      I understand what sis Phumzile was saying...I was also bewitched with that "izilwane" thing,heeh you see things that no one else sees,I saw all the dead and I had moments where I wanted to end my life,I escapaded in hospital and I had power,I dont know from where...mind you I'm a big girl and my family and I are all bazalwane that was the first time we consulted....my family tried different churches before the tradition way and its the only way that had better results...just saying that what she's talking about it's there...and bazali please stop preaching about how intelligent and bright your children are because you guys are putting us in danger...we end up being used to fight battles we don't know

    Mom carried a lot of childhood trauma and unfortunately she didn't have an outlet like writing a book or telling her story. Vicious cycle that will take a strong one to break that generational curse, who will understand that generational pain without blaming.

    Thos family was cursed o remember in our villge there was a family were the sisters use to fight like cats and dogs ,one hanged herself but sge was rescued by the other guy ,tbe guy who rescued her alsi hanged himself ,they had to relocate fron our villge ,the Mother needed deliverance wirh the son

    Almost raped by stepfather, falling pregnant at 13 and married!
    She never even got a chance to enjoy her teenage years. Now these bad spirits and curses are being passed on from generation yo generation. Thhis family needs deliverance to break away from these chains.

    I don’t understand, not all mothers are toxic, we are three kids at home and I know my mom truly loved us all equally, there has never been a moment where I felt like one of us is not that loved. How I miss her,, she truly loved us and that memory will forever remain with me.

      I totally i agree with you this reminds me of my father he was just like his brother and they took him to Different traditional healers saying uphethwe yizilwane and they couldn’t help until he was admitted to a Psychotic hospital that’s where he was Diagnosed with schizophrenia and that’s were he started taking Meds he got much better

      @@Phumzie_dladla Thank you Phumzile people just do not want to understand that the brain is just an organ which can be healed. There are doctors specializing in this field. People get healed and unfortunately have to take medication for the rest of their life, my sister is one of them, she nearly killed my mother, she was hearing voices, but is fine now. She was diagnosed with bipolar disorder.

      ​@@hildadavids217 just cause you had the means to seek medical assistance and get a diagnosis, it does not mean everyone can. In African culture especially the older generation will first assume bad spirits before thinking of bipolar, dementia etc. Those are foreign medical terms to most.

      1993 July my mom went outside to fetch something and when she was coming inside when opening the door her foot turned and broke she had to put screws in her foot.
