If you think this is a beautifully written song by the Bee Gees you should take a listen to Immortality by Celine Dion. It is a song written by and accompanied by the Gibb brothers. Another beautiful song is Wish You Were Here, a tribute written by Barry, Robin, and Mo for their younger brother Andy Gibb, a superstar singer in his own right, who died in his 30's. It unfortunately also became a tribute song for Bee Gee twins, Robin and Mo, when they too passed.
Not a couple, he is married 50 years, has 5 children and 8 grandchildren. He wrote this and others songs on this album as well he produced it for her. He is a hit maker and she came to him to write her some songs.

Barry has been married to Linda for 50 years so..... This song is from the album Guilty from 1980 where the songs was written by the Bee gees and it produced by one of the best production trios at the time, Barry gibb, Albhy galuten and Karl Richardson. Fantastic album with songs like this one, Guilty (also duet with Barry) and the smash hit Woman In Love.
There is a funny story about Woman In love because when Barbara heard the demo she apparently thanked Barry for not releasing it himself because his demo version in the falsetto voice blew her away.
They made a follow up in 2005 called Guilt Pleasures where a song called Come Tomorrow stand out. But also a great album.
I don't think their Album "Guilty Pleasures" was marketed right in 2005. Barbra re-recorded "(Our Love) Don't Throw It All Away" (an Andy Gibb song) that was so much better than Andy's rendition, "Come Tomorrow", "Above the Law", and "Golden Dawn". So many good songs -- but the album was not nearly as successful as "Guilty' in 1980

This was a special show in her back yard. I remember hearing she was suffering from agoraphobia or something and it was rare for her to perform.
I remember watching this when it was broadcast on TV. I was about 12 years old. Barry joining her on stage was a surprise and I'm pretty sure my jaw hit the floor.

the Bee Gees wrote songs for many people , they did an amazing song called Inmortality that they did with Celion Dion, i think you would love love love that song !! They wrote Heartbreaker that was a hit for Dione Warwick, Islands in the Stream that Kenny Rogers and Dolly Parton did together , they have a huge catalog of music that they did for others. thank you for these wonderful reaction videos !!!

On the album cover, they were wearing white. This was a concert in her backyard, with invited guests. Barry/Bros. Gibb wrote this entire album and performed on it with her.
The song is about I believe he had an affair . The lyrics say "You let the stranger in"... What kind of fool tears it apart leaving me pain and sorrow.

i think this was barbara's last time she sang it was in here garden for a select group of people and barry sang a vieuw songs with her because they wrote a lot of songs for her ( the complete album guilty ) the also wrote for kenny rogers and dolly parton a vieuw songs ( islands in the steam and more ) for diana ross ( chain reaction ) they sang with seline dion ( the beautyful song immortality) and dionne warwick ( heartbreaker ) and probably i forgot a vieuw

The Bee Gees were three Brothers that had it all in musical talent, they could write the MOST BEAUTIFUL SONGS EVER!!, they could sing in harmony and solo great enough to blow your mind. Barbara has a lot of connections thru the years with The Bee Gees. I don’t know how many hits she had with Barry Gibb and all three of The Bee Gees. They and Barry produced alone and with the group her albums. Barry was faithful to his wife, but all The Bee Gees had a close relationship with Barbara.
Actually I think I remember an interview where he alluded to both him and Linda not being faithful. He is obviously devoted to his wife of 50+ years but I'm not sure about faithful. He kissed Barbara on stage at the Grammys and joked with his brothers about her in an interview using sexual innuendo. It's possible they were only flirting but I suspect it was more than just flirting. It's also possible Barry and Linda had/have an open relationship like Robin and Dwina did. Not that it's any of our business.

@@RandomJane104 I saw that interview, although it was a while back and I don't have the link now. He made it clear that he had cheated on Linda BEFORE they were married (and she did something of the sort, too), but never after their marriage.

Thst was an excellent review of Barbra and Barry Gibb singing the song live at Barbra"s counpund live, for a charity benefit. Barbra is more amazing live than in the studio, a ture rarity. Check out another duet of "What Kind of Fool with Barbra and John Legend from her 2014 album "Partners" it's a masterpiece with an incredible arrangement. Also check out more Barbra songs such as "Somewhere, or anything from "The Broadway Album" every song will blow you away.
