Hi guys, today is final tutorial of the daisy flower petals part.
This time, the video is longer, which means that you could see each step more clearly.
Similar to the previous video, there are 8 threads will be used in this whole process to show the natural colour transition of the petals.
The embroidery thread uses natural silk thread, with 8丝 (which is 1/2 of a thread),and the cloth is silk embroidered cloth.
In the process of embroidery, we have to firstly distinguish the relationship between the upper and lower layers. First embroider the petals of the lower layer and then the upper layer.
The bottom two petals use 1-8colors, and the upper three petals can highlight the color change, using 2-8 colors.

Silk embroidery fabric. I’m not sure where you would buy this in Europe but I would like to. I use cotton Hardanger fabric and cotton thread, much moe coarse than this.
