Outstanding. I am 71 years old and have been embroidering for many years. I have NEVER seen any of these stitches. I learned a ton. Thank you so very much for sharing.
You reignited my love for embroidery….and mind you this is my craft of choice. Thank you for your talent and sharing it to the world, one stitch at a time.
I decided to learn embroidery this winter and I came across your videos. I love the relaxing atmosphere and the beautiful hands on instruction for many different types of stitches. Thank you for uploading. I can't wait to get started 🙂
Hi. I recently discovered your channel, since getting back into embroidery, after a 10-year break. I am completely self-taught, so I decided to search videos, and here we are. I love your work and appreciate that you share your time and talent this way. Keep up the beautiful needlework!
You're so graceful stitching! You make it all look so easy - and you make it easy to follow what you're doing. I found your channel searching for flower tutorials and loved every video of yours I've watched. Thank you so very much, you're an exceptionally good teacher xxx
Such beautiful & elegant stitches. My sweet aunt taught me when I was abt 6 or 7yrs old, so that was over 50yrs ago. I've not embroidered in yrs, so I'm excited to get started again. Thank you for taking the time to sew a few reminder stitches!
I only just discovered this channel; it's wonderful. It seems we are peers and, like you, I am getting back into needlework after not doing any for years (thanks covid pandemic, I guess). I also learned as a child from my grandmother's sister. I've always loved it and I am delighted to be at it again. Keep making pretty things :)
Wow, those are beautiful stitches! Great tutorial, I do not understand why anybody would give you a thumbs down? I love to embroider, I will try these! Thank you 🙏🏻
I barely started embroidering a few days ago after finding techniques that I liked. I've put off learning for years because I couldnt find techniques that I liked. Thank you for sharing these; I'm going to have a lot of fun using them! 😊
I am a beginner to hand embroidery. Each day I go onto your site Handiworks and practice, practice, practice. Thank you for all the stitches and work you do, so that we can learn.
Thank you for reminding me that I have a huge amount of embroidery supplies I need to get back to. Crewel work is my favorite and love when the embroidery becomes 3D. I have a lot of tropical plant pictures where the leaves come out of the work -- like fern fronds. I love watching you work.
I love the embroidery when I was young. My grandmother taught me when I was about six years old. And I used to do it until I was in my twenties and then I had children. This reminds me of how much I loved it.
Me too, very similar story. Pick it up again to give your self awareness a gift. Some of your thoughts, energies, and childhood hope will float back to you with the motion of your hands. No need to wait until you are seventy, like me.
@@manthasagittarius1 I'll be 64 in October. And I have rhuematoid arthritis. I crochet but hand stitching these days is painful. I have a pile of thread, though and hoops somewhere. May give it a go.

Thank you so much for this video!! The step-by-step execution of each stitch is so detailed and clear that really it's not necessary to add words to it. The camera captures everything to perfection. I'm a big fan!
What is especially useful to me about your video is how exacting you are in your precision. I also appreciate the pace at which you show the stitches. I've been embroidering for over 50 years, and I learned new things today. Thank you for sharing your skill.
Strange, perhaps...but very beautiful and wonderful to add to a stitch repertoire. Thank you...my embroidery skills have improved so much since finding your channel. Blessings...

Unbelievable awesome. I am 70 and have never seen these astonishing stitches. I have one hand. Lost my right major hand in a lumber mill accident and I can still do some stitches. I use sewing thread to do my decorative stitches since I can find remainders from the clothing sewing industry here n los anglrs st the swap meets much cheaper than the cost and availability of gloss. It is not quite the same as gloss but sometimes it just does matter All I do is get a cone of thread and measure it out to what I think I will need and just measure out how many threads is needed for the effect. I do the same thing for cording. I can customize the color and hue by mixing various colors or shade to get the right effect. To make the corfording o have one of those old fashion eraser guns thst I just tighten the end on to it and let it spinning until I get a good twist. Then let out enough of the twist so thst it will not twist onto itself.
