    大家好,今天的視頻是關於格桑花的刺繡教程,格桑花是藏族文化的象征。 在藏語中,格桑花也被稱為格桑梅朵,“格桑”的意思是“美好時光”或“幸福”,“梅朵”是花的意思,所以格桑花也叫幸福花,長期以來壹直寄托著藏族人民期盼幸福吉祥的美好情感
    今天的視頻是第壹部分,介紹了繡制格桑花的頂部的過程,並且在視頻左側添加的圖片中顯示了在每個步驟中選擇不同顏色線的詳細信息。這次的繡布為真絲繡布,塔夫綢,用線8絲(壹根線的1/2)。
    大家好,這裏是蘇繡,我們的頻道希望記錄傳統中國手工刺繡的文化遺產,並將其傳播到世界,也希望更多的人能夠通過我們的教學視頻學習這門技能,歡迎大家訂閱我們的頻道,與我們多多交流!

      @@ArtEmbroidery Thank you! Could you, please, also tell us, in that future video, what type of fabric you use as canvas? I've been wondering for a long while what are the different types of fabric you use, because, at one point, I also saw you use an almost transparent fabric for the canvas... Thank you for sharing your skills and knowledge with us!... I've always been in awe of Chinese embroidery and, watching your videos, I'd like to try my hand at it... I'm just clueless about all the different materials needed for it (ex: tread, fabric for the canvas, the types of needles used, what tool you use to stretch the fabric/canvas, what type of pencil you use to draw on your canvas) and if there's tips and tricks we could learn to make it easy for us to do Chinese embroidery... Thank you again so much for everything! 💜 💜 💜

    Hi. What is the reason you go up and down through the fabric instead of working on the top surface?

    • @eveleung8855
      @eveleung8855 4 года назад

      It is a straight method with both hand up and down stitch, the fabric is secured on a square wood frame, they call it the Roll Frame, if you click into this teacher's archive you can find the Roll Frame demonstration, with this special type of embroidery frame, it reduce the chance our hand having contact with the fabric, the less our hand contact, the cleaner the work piece.

    How do get the image onto your fabric? I could probably pencil it on free hand, but my hands aren't what they used to be. Are there stencils that can be used to trace the pattern onto the fabric?

    • @maiajolley8030
      @maiajolley8030 4 года назад

      I'm not sure how they do it but a common method is putting a photocopy of the image over the fabric then using a pin to prick the lines of the image, then I put in over the image and then take the image away to leave dotted lines, another way is to trace a picture with tracing paper and pencil and then go over these pencil lines with Charlie or a white board pen then put this tracing paper behind you fabric and hold it up to a light and trace this image onto the fabric with pen or pencil

      Also knots are not used in Silk embroidery because making a short stitch going through the strands of the threads which is finished is enough to keep it in place, also this leaves the image smooth :)

    How is it that you don't need to knot the thread when changing colors?

    • @eveleung8855
      @eveleung8855 4 года назад +2

      When you done with one color, you stitch back and forth a few times, that will secured the thread, use a new color thread and cover the previous color will make the knot very secured. In case the previous color knot some how lose, you can use old color to cover it or new color to cover it, depends on the area. Something like use hand stitching button hole without a knot, you hide the thread inside the thread to secure it.

      @@eveleung8855 Yes, I have used the same technique in counted cross-stitch. I don't have the patience anymore to follow the charts because I like complicated designs. I think this kind of embroidery will work better for me in my older years.

    Why don’t you do the petals in order? Why do you do one here than skipped a few and do another than go back to the first one and do a row than skipped back to the other one again and do a row

    • @ArtEmbroidery
      @ArtEmbroidery  4 года назад

      1, depending on the pattern, distinguish the order of pattern petals from top to bottom.
      2. Depending on the color of the petals, sometimes two petals can be embroidered together with the same color, and different colors can be embroidered separately.
