🛼Skating in Milan, Italy 1: the Duomo and historic city center all to myself.

Milano city center and its Duomo area were the target for today. I left really early (6 AM) and had the area all to myself. Unobstructed views of the famous Duomo, Galleria Vittorio Emanuele, Piazza della Scala, Piazza Mercanti and the Brera neighborhood were the reward. Technical challenges abound as a result of the cobblestones all around. Bonus footage: a skycam on Duomo Square that captured me in action a few times!

I'm happy you enjoyed the view, I've been living in Milano since my birth, but almost never go to Duomo anymore, too crowded. Today, after more than a year, I finally went back :)

I liked the city center of Milano a lot. But I know what you mean with the crowds. Back home in Amsterdam we have similar problems: some areas are too crowded with tourists and are therefore ignored by locals. Good thing I went to the Duomo Square so early....hope you enjoyed your Duomo time today too!
