@@TheTourGuyVids Milan Centrale is amazing. We also use Garibaldi which is much easier to navigate. It had been 5 years since we were last in Milan so you can imagine how excited we were to return. Metro is so easy to use as well.
Verona is great. Also enjoyed the day trip around Lago di Garda, including a couple of dips in the lake and an absolutely epic six or seven course prix fixe meal. Going back to Milan next week. Then Venice, then Spain. Two weeks in all.
You are right, Milan is underappreciated! We have our second visit booked for this July. The Brera District is out favorite for Aperitivo and Cena! It has a great location for day trips to the Lake District and Turin as well.
@@TheTourGuyVids I love the vid because it's a great sweep over the things to consider and look forward to. I would, however, consider putting the Italian phrases/food and place names below on the screen when you speak them. I'm sure your pronunciation is accurate, but it can be difficult to sort the syllables and/or words out, especially if you are attempting to take notes or otherwise commit them to memory... Ciao!
Great video Angel - as always. Now I know why I haven't made it back there - I was told to spin 3 times on the bull's privates to bring good luck. Now I know it's only once - doh!! 😥😥
The legend of stepping on the balls of the bull. It’s not a tradition. There was something else - a gesture of disrespect towards Turin, capital at the time and whose symbol is the bull - but the story of twisting on its balls to come back to Milan is a recent “tradition” invented by an anonymous tour guide.
why you guys never go to other parts of the city or other vistas in center? it's always the same - duomo, rooftop, la scala, galleria vittorio emmanuelle, castle, navigli, etc.
@@TheTourGuyVids Well, visiting is often very different from living in a place. The phrase, " a great place to visit" is not a cliche for nothing. Or as you say, "we've always had fun there..." So I get oscarpezzoli's comment, especially if the hustle & bustle of a city isn't for you. Don't know if I would feel the same, but I get it.
Depends on where you live in Milan. My flat is right in front of a park and traffic is basically non-existent. Much quieter than many other cities and towns I've visited in Italy.
Thank you for this beautiful and informative video of Milan. It will definitely help me in my future planning.
Our pleasure. Happy Travels to you 👍🏼🙏🏼
I live 100 km
We love Milano! So many fascinating museums and galleries to visit. Don't forget the Monumentale Cemeterio! Stunning memorials there!
Thanks for the suggestion. Happy Travels.
We love Milan. Just visited for 3rd time in February. Great for day trips. This time we went to Verona and Brescia and loved them both.
Love me some Verona. How epic is the Milan train station?

And would definitely go back to Verona. Definitely need 2-3 days.

We just returned from 12 days in Italy. Milan is 👍. Plus was able to get to Moto Guzzi birthplace. ❤
Nice. Well played

make your own video and show us how it’s done. I’d love to see it.
@@TheTourGuyVids i live in the city, i don't need to make videos, also learn how to take critique, since you're the one making content here
You left out the replica of Leonardo's Iron Horse and the Cemetary on the North end of town. Otherwise, a cool video.
No we didn’t. A replica isn’t a top thing to see

You study in polimi University?
Overrated .. boring city
No boring cities, just boring travelers
It’s defiantly not as good as other cities, you can pretty much see most of Milan in 1 day
