Allow me to introduce the Hellcat Pro.
I have a Macbook pro, A Mac Pro and I wrote the script for this video on my iPad Pro. I still don’t know what makes any of these products PRO, but I think that has more to do with my lack of Marques Brownlee's levels of tech knowledge than anything else.
I always thought the first Hellcat was a good-looking gun, but its small size made it good-looking in that cute with flashes of sexy Ariana grande kind of way.
The Hellcat Pro is slightly longer in the grip and barrel and the extra length makes the gun good-looking in that sexy girl next door Victoria justice kind of way.
It's still chambered in 9mm, it still has the same 1" grip width, still has the same awesome iron sights with the tactical U-Notch rear. It Still has the same Adaptive grip Texture with borders that look like they were done with a pair of barber clippers.
But The Hellcat Pro is different where it matters most, capacity. Instead of what is still an impressive 11 round capacity that the original hellcat had, The Hellcat Pro has an equally impressive 15 round capacity.
Even with the slightly longer grip, it's still effortlessly concealable, while making it easier to grip and draw the gun without having to search for a little Ariana grande-sized grip.
This is a phenomenal concealed carry gun and that’s exactly what it’s trying to be.
Size-wise it sits in a weird space where it isn’t so small that it feels like a compromise but not so big that it feels like a chore to carry. At the same time when you’re shooting it feels like a full-sized gun.
The Hellcat Pro is a very deliberate gun. Noting happens with this gun unless you decided to do it deliberately
Take the trigger. it’s not silky smooth it’s progressively smooth, I can stop midway through the take-up at any point before I hit the wall of the trigger. When I do hit the wall It's a very firm wall and then the trigger slides into a very deliberate and clean break.
The trigger makes me feel comfortable in that if I ever have to pull my gun and prep the trigger, I can do it confidently without worrying about accidentally letting a round off when I wasn't ready to.
I can shoot this gun fast, but again, I have to be deliberate about it. Some guns, I can just bounce off the trigger without even trying which is fun when I'm at the range, but if I have to draw my gun in public and take a shot or shots, I want to shoot fast because I decided to shoot fast and not because the trigger wants me to shoot fast.
I’m still not 100% on the pistol red dot train but it doesn’t matter because I have the options to use or not use it and if I do decide to use the iron sights I’ll be just fine because I absolutely love the iron sights. The front site is bright and grabs your attention like Ariana grande had Bill Clinton’s attention. ( Show clip of Clinton geeking over Ariana) and the rear sight is this beautiful u notch that gets out of the way and lets you focus on the front sight.

The way he shot one handed, and sponsor the ammo with his left hand and smirked at you was epic 😂🔥
And missed every shot as soon as he looked away lol
bro i 😂😂😂
You spelled unprofessional and dangerous wrong
fr tho
Pretty cringe and a total waste of ammo lol, just like all influencers making content
I stumbled upon the Hellcat Pro a couple weeks back while looking for a concealed carry pistol. During this time, I’ve watched over 20 videos on RUclips about the weapon. Your video is by far the best I’ve seen.
Professional filming and editing, an excellent script, great presentation, and very useful information. Thank you.
Did you get 1? How you like it? Got 1 a month ago haven't had a range day yet
@@sugarfly321gaming8Had a range day yet?
@@sugarfly321gaming8been over 2 months now, any range time?
My EDC gun is the original Hellcat with a 15 round mag once they started selling them online. Gun store didn't even know they had them at the time. I love it!!!
Same here bruh, my shop didn’t believe me when I told em.
Yep. I carry two 15rd mags. Have six 13rd and the one 10rd. I don't like reloading mags at the range
Love my hellcat but my 15rd mag must be defective it will only hold 12 rounds...
SPRINGFIELD IS COMPANY OF THE YEAR
XDM 10MM APPROVED 😎😎
Exactly it did great on online sales that it sold out. People were going into their local gunshops asking about it and were clueless lol. Well a few knew but had zero idea of when they will be available to sell. Price was also double the MSRP.
I am in the market for my very first gun. I've had of course many recommendations from friends/family who are avid gun owners/shooters. When I walked into a gun store for the first time 2 weeks ago, I let the gentlemen know i had no experience, looking for my first gun, and asked for his recommendations. This was the very first gun I held on my journey. Very comfortable in my hand. All that's left for me is to rent one at a local range and actually shoot it along with a few others that I've narrowed the list down to. I appreciate this video as it's one of the best on this gun I've seen.
I must say I love your reviews. Your gun reviews are always straight to the point and honest . That’s makes it really easy for me . I’m totally looking into a hellcat pro now
I carried a G29 for 12 years and love 10mm. Soon as I saw the Hellcat, I bought it and love it. Been waiting for a longer bbl version like the Sig 365 XL. I’m gonna get the Hellcat PRO and mount my own red dot, maybe a Holosun 507. Excellent review. 👍
I got a 507k on my pro. Its wonderful new favorite gun and that was b4 the red dot , now its hard to beat for my favorite cc
Epic! Love the video so much I went out and bought one! Colion you spoke to my inner gun loving soul my brother. And whoever your camera person is is equally as good. Some of the best gun reviews on RUclips hands down!!
Deliberate. Very great way to describe what you are feeling with the gun. Keeps my trust in your evaluation and opinion. Great video. Keep em coming!!!
Got this gun about a year ago, your video really turned me on to it. Chose it over the Sig 365 XL, just found it to be a nicer feel and look with those u notch sights. I made the right choice, absolutely love it and haven't had a single failure. I hear the apex trigger makes it a far better shot so that's my next move. Springfield Armory needs to compensate you for such awesome content and promotion of their product, your videos are top notch bro.
i shot the 365xl a day or two ago, i guess im used to my dad spongy XD trigger bc i could not shoot that sig to save my life, everything was so sharp and agressive about the sig but the XD triggers to me feel so much smoother, shot the XD pretty god damn well compared to the sig.

Your presentation and explanation about this firearm is awesome. I am a fan of Springfield Armory firearms and at this time own both an XD9M and an XD45. This Hellcat Pro seems to be a "tweener"
It looks like it does fit well in your hands. I feel that a gun has to fit and feel right for it to be a good gun for you! Thanks for this presentation.
I've always thought the same way, a pistol in part, should fit like a glove. I love the designs that Gaston implemented, making his pistol the most imitated of polymer pistols. But after shooting the 1911 pistols for two decades, neither blocky grip nor the 19° angle are a good fit on a defensive pistol for me. As well as the fact that I can't release the magazine without shifting my grip or using my left hand. I'm able to do that on the Glock 48/43x, p365, and Hellcat.
Great review. We bought Hellcats for our Christmas gifts, and in addition to the 11 and 13 round magazines, we also got the 15 round optional mag. When shooting we noticed how much better we shot with the 15 round mag (as you mention) and then realized it was the result of the more complete grip we could get on the pistol with the extended mag. Only caution I would mention on the Hellcat is that my wife is unable to rack the slide or load the magazine, because of the stiffer springs.
My only problem is actuating the slide stop lever. I can't do it normally with my thumb while holding the gun properly, I kind of have to adjust my grip to get the point of my thumb to press down on the lever edge to get it work, but I'm left handed and can't normally actuate in anyway ,lol.
@@SI0AX Over the top slingshot for the win. I never use the slide stop on any handgun. It makes more sense to go over the top to me because that works on any semi-auto pistol so you don't have to retrain that skill for every gun because of the differences in the positioning, firmness, etc. of the slide stop.
Agreed this slide is rather stiff in the hellcat.
@@trugroover1559 I use the over the top slide to rack but have noticed the slide stop has become less hard after shooting about 500 rounds.
My wife has a similar issue, the slide is hard for her to pull back consistently and the catch/slide release/whatever you want to call it is too stiff for her to work.
Watched a ton of reviews on a ton of guns before buying this one. Bought the gun in large part because of this review. It simply made great sense to me.
The Nosler ad in the beginning was actually pretty good. Just enough cheese to be entertaining while stopping short of being cringy.
To me it's the obvious misses and he doesn't care lol 🙃
The "I missed but do you think I care?" Look is awesome
It made me laugh
The narration of this video sold me. Been bouncing back and forth over 2 guns and now I’ll choose the pro. Thanks much
I just bought one and this video shows up on my feed, great review and honestly makes me feel more confident in my purchase
Great review, and a great message. You represent what the 2A is to me. Rock On!
Another spot-on video review!
I own both the Hellcat and Hellcat Pro. Love them both. But yeah, the Pro goes just a little larger. Enough that you feel almost like you have a full-sized pistol when you fire it, but small enough to be concealable. Springfield split the difference perfectly!
Superb! You are skilled and precise in how you analyzed the Hellcat. Frankly, you set the standard by which others can learn from your approach to weapon analysis. Well done, and thanks for helping me with my decision on the Hellcat.
I’m impressed with your accuracy at speed. Thanks for the vids; I enjoy. I need to train more.
Great review. I carry my original Hellcat everyday. This pro version is sexy as hell! I just got a XDM elite OSP and it's a beast of a 9mm tactical gun. Also have a Saint AR15. I'm a huge Springfield Armory fan!
Have you held the sign 365 xl
@@jasonnicholas3502 I can attest with the 365 xl it's amazing.
I'm a Beretta guy but that Elite OSP is my favorite pistol from a different brand.
@@jasonnicholas3502 buddy has one. Great gun as well. I'm just not a sig fan. Had several and they never stuck around.
I have the osp elite and precision.
Love the 22rd mags.
The precision is the most accurate pistol I have.
I’m kicking around getting this hellcat pro. It’s more concealable than the elites.
Plus I just got a hellion so why not have a hellcat too?
Nice offering. Seems like they want to provide from the factory what original Hellcat owners had to create with an optic and extended magazine. Either are indeed wonderful CCWs.
You Mr. Noir are the best! You've got that certain little flare in your voice when you like something. It makes me want it too. First when I seen this new Hellcat Pro I thought, yah this looks interesting. Then I watched your review and I said out load, "Damn, I've Got To Have One Of Those!" You are the best Mr. Noir. Thank you for everything you do for the 2A Community.
I love how if I need more info on a gun you covered it months ago and made it available for the world to enjoy.
I like the proportions of the firearm. Great review!
Have never been a fan of the Hell Cat but this one looks like one I would like to check out. Thanks for the review 🙂
I chose it over the p365 because I liked the sights and the trigger better. Been carrying it a little over a year and I love it. It’s a little snappy but nothing I can’t handle.
When the Hellcat first came out it became quickly apparent that it needed a larger brother. Everyone loves to use the G19 as a CCW gun but I think it’s really a bad gun for it. Dimensionally it’s really too big to conceal well, yet the smaller grip length doesn’t help control recoil as well as it’s larger brothers the 19x & 17. Then there’s that thicccness. As a guy whose primary personal gun was an HK USP 40 full size (carried properly in Condition 1) & department issued was a 92fs variant, I’m down with the thiccccness! But the Glock really lived up to its nickname: the Block.
If I were a plainclothes officer THIS is what I would want to carry. Maybe a P365XL variant instead. Too many plainclothes officers are easily spotted by carrying their Block 19, typically in a horrible holster. Detectives and other plainclothes officers should treat carrying as if they were a regular CCW user should, nobody should know. These new super slim midsize guns are thinner helping the users grip, have a higher capacity helping survive the fight, and are more concealable helping them to avoid being targeted.
Good set up. Ditch the Block!
I have one.. not worth the hype
My original Hellcat does me well. Add that it’s got more capacity than a G26, better grip angle and size than a G26, thinner, better trigger, etc…I’ll stick with the Hellcat. Had this come out earlier I would have gotten it instead.
I wasn't a fan of the original Hellcat or the micro compact Sigs either. A co-worker told me about the Hellcat Pro and I tracked one down and fired it. I now own and love it!
This segment was definitely a breath of fresh air !!
" I don't know what I wanted it to do, but it didn't do it" is refreshing to hear!! Def felt that way many times
Hellcat for my wife, Hellcat Pro for myself. Love both so much. Something many don’t talk about is the extra feed ramp on Hellcats that glocks and the like do not have. Small detail, but when using flat point training ammo prevents jams.
Apparently Springfield doesn’t actually make these…SA is what people are saying.
@@awesomedave8484 Springfield doesn't make any of their polymer guns. They're made by HS produkt in Croatia. Not really a secret
The Hellcat, in any configuration, is on my dream list. SA always puts out some good products.
@Old SkoolK-5 As does Sig's, especially with the QC. Ruger probably has the best customer service around the industry as a whole.
Dream??? Set them sight alil higher boy!
Thanks for the review, your information is useful, entertaining, and much appreciated.
This is a great video that describes the HC Pro well. I like how you describe all the weapons in all the videos. Keep at it.
Beauty is in the eye of the beholder……….especially with those references you used!
Just when I think I’m out, they drag me back in. I have the original Hellcat and that should be good enough, but thanks to your review of the Pro I must have it. Damm.
The editing of this video is amazing. Well done! And a great review. Thanks!
as always, your reviews are the best! the Hellcat Pro is on my list now, thanks!
Springfield was mostly off my radar, but I'm going to check out this gun.
I picked up the Hellcat Pro after much research. I traded up from my Hellcat Micro because the pro just fits in my hand like a glove and performs like an Olympic athlete.
I also am not a red dot fan on a quick draw self-defense gun when you may not have time to "get on target" but, if you practice properly, you can be a effective reflexive shooter. In Homeland Security, we practiced from the hip constantly for fast situations. Almost 30 years with my Glock 22/23, "technical" aiming actually screws me up. Red dots are good for longer distances, but in a self-defense shooting, less than 10 feet is the usual circumstance and you have to be quick. If they already have the draw on you, time to use psychological warfare and get them distracted so you can work the magic.
My red dot sits right on top of my front night sight and aligns perfect with the rear U dot sight. Your right about longer distances for red dots and i agree any target within 3- 10 yards you shouldnt need to aim just point and shoot as long as no innocent are close by. Train hard for any situation to be better prepared.I always recommend with any firearm intense training without all the accessories first
and if your eye/target acquisition timing doesn't change then more power to you.
LEO are doing training with red dot with approved agency's. Technically shooting is muscle memory in and quick draw as well. Red dots will probably be a thing for the future from now on. They show more accuracy and more quicker draw.
Thanx. This review pushed me over the line. I was already leaning towards this pistol, now I'll all in.
A HUGE Fan of both the Hellcat & Colion !!!! As ALWAYS , THANK YOU !!!
Would never give up my P365, but this seems like a worthy challenger. Thanks for a great review.
I also have a 365 but honestly love this gun more.
Still both great choices. I highly recommend checking one out.
this review was 🔥🔥🔥 i picked up the gun the day after I saw this vid, brought it to the range and its everything I wanted to be. I love this gun, it will be replacing my XDS 9mm carry with the hellcat. shoots super smooth and really love the U shaped sights.
Got a question for you.. I purchased a hellcat pro the other day and a friend of mine bought one the next day… my buddy took his and put 45 rounds through his today and said it was all over the place , he was using blazer 115 grain fmla.. what ammo do you use ??… I told him that the gun might not like that ammo to try some other brand
@@jimplue3213 45 rounds is not alot for a break in. I'd recommend 200.
The Pro is supposed to be good with most ammo from my research.
The trigger can take some getting used to as well as the natural snappiness of sub compact 9mm.
Phenomenal video my guy. I had been going back and forth on both this side are and uscaa. Thanks for tipping the scale on both!
My respects Mr. Noir, I've been a 365 fan for a while now, I just got a Hellcat, I'm impressed. Now I have to get the new one. What a gun
Lmfao your salesman style delivery on this type of stuff is quite well done 😄
It’s too much. It’s not believable.
Well he is a lawyer...pro.
@Bill Jobes yeeeaahh. That's true. Don't even own a max9
@@RyanGr33n lol I actually agree. It's well done to me in the sense that it's entertaining enough for me to watch but so over the top, like a long winded "this gun is so fucking perfect and I'm going to say it in all these different ways to give you a little stiffy about it and make you want to buy one right now" kinda thing 🤣
Along with those Horridliana Grandless comments to help upsell.
I'm sold‼️ Here in Arizona (a 2A sanctuary state) we can conceal carry without a permit.
I've been trying to find the perfect Concealed Carry pistol that is easy to conceal, has stopping power and doesn't feel like a toy. This review was perfect and your description of everything, down to the trigger pul,l hit all of my desired attributes for a CC pistol. Thanks🤘
For you females out there that are looking for something nice in the concealed carry department, Browning makes some really nice and affordable CC purses. I got my wife one for Christmas last year.
Hands down one of the best reviews I have seen for anything.
I have an original HellCat, and I just bought a fifteen round Springfield magazine for it. That little bit of added length to the grip makes a noticeable difference.
You sir just sent your money to Croatia! Where the hellcat is made.
@@peterreily1490 is there a problem with Croatia?
@@peterreily1490 lol what’s the point? Glock is Austrian. Sig is German, Walther is German. Most modern pistol manufacturers worth their salt aren’t American.
I too got those magazines for my original hellcat. I love them
@Peter reily you funny asf 😂😂😂
I measured my Hellcat with a 15 round magazine and it is the same height as the advertised height of the Pro. So the longer slide & barrel should be an improvement in felt recoil, accuracy, and better sight picture. Sounds like a win!
Right on.
Hi my name is Paul I never purchase anything Thai wash your reviews you do a really nice job on that and I just ordered my Hellcat Pro and yes I don't know what the probe means either thank you for your excellent inputs on everything
Great vid! Loved the information covered! Looking forward to watching more of your reviews!!
Just picked up my new Hellcat Pro OSP and installed the Apex Trigger Assembly and their Failsafe Extractor. I’m still waiting on the Apex Titanium Striker Assembly to arrive. I went out onto my back property where I built my private shooting range and tested it. 75 rounds. Zero failures.
It’s like the perfect size for my hand. I wear XL gloves but don’t let that fool you. This grip will fit every hand from small to extra large. Not sure how they did that, but they have. The gun is very light to carry even with a full mag of 15 plus 1 in the chamber. Very accurate, even on follow up shots. I practice shooting quarters (or bottle caps) from 10 -15 feet. This Hellcat makes that easy. Just practice until you can’t miss. Excellent sight picture. Your eye is able to capture the green dot and the half-moon rear very quickly. This is my new every-day carry (EDC) and replaces my Sig P365…only because the 365’s grip is too short and I preferred the Hellcat Pro over the 365 XL. You gotta get one. Really amazing. I highly recommend the Apex trigger, fail-safe extractor and titanium striker. Very inexpensive on the Apex website. The titanium striker isn’t necessary but it is strong and light and guarantees your primer will light every time. The Apex Trigger Assembly comes with a slightly longer striker spring so it’ll punch deep dents in the primers. I opted for the UrbanCarry LockLeather IWB leather holster (#201). It fits the Hellcat perfectly and has adjustable retention.
I like this guy. First time watching. Subbed!
Same
He's the best IMO
Great gun...although I don't have the "pro" version, I do have the standard Hellcat. Really love it, but you gotta check out the new Shield Plus Performance Center 4" with ported barrel. That thing has the best striker fired trigger I have ever felt out of the box and the porting creates the flattest concealed 9mm package I have shot to date. Would love to see you give it a try and compare it to the Hellcat Pro.
i check back with this dude years later and he has over 2 mil subscribers?... Loving it... spot on vids bro
Absolutely love this gun. Great review once again Noir 😎
I have the hellcat rdp with the 15 round mag and I absolutely love it!
I have it too . Looks great but underperforms even with the comp.
@@andrewperez7016 In what way do you mean it under-performs? Follow up shot accuracy?
I'd like mine more if the grip was more slanted like a Glock and if the trigger was less stiff. Because of this I can actually shoot my smaller Taurus Gx4 a little better. I'm hoping after a few hundred more rounds the trigger will lighten.
Lol. Bill getting his eyeful cracked me up.
I agree with your review on the Hellcat completely. Initially I was looking at the p365x, and, the CZP10S. Both of these guns are phenomenal, but the Hellcat Pro just sat perfectly with everything I was looking for. Just big enough, nice capacity, feels great in the hand, great iron sights, great weight, and I absolutely love the way the trigger feels when pulling it. It's a solid concealed carry, that won't grow out of people's interest of quickly, which I feel like would happen with a lot of the smaller subcompacts. This is a great review, and I love my Hellcat 500 rounds later. Looking forward to putting another 500 down range soon.
Those slow motion shooting shots with the bass pulsating with the slight camera shaking is very nice editing!
Colion knows his target demographic 😂🤣 the Ariana and Victoria references on point 💀
I want this gun more than anything on my Amazon wish list!!!
I have one. Its an amazing gun.
I just got mine. It's my first pistol.
Took it to the range for 100 rounds of break in.
It's nice, for sure. It feels great in hand and it's a perfect size.
The sights are great. It's simple. It's highly practical. I love the trigger feel as it's very tactile.
I am a beginner shooter and have a lot to learn but I feel confident that I can handle this gun at my current level and that I can grow further into it as I get better.
Great review! Dude you crack me up, great writing and you got all the important points.
I have a Hallcat OSP as my EDC, with a Holosun 407K red dot and it rocks. I have several 13 & 15 round mags plus the little one.
With a holster claw I can carry a 13 round with no printing at 3 O’Clock and with a pocket holster and the little mag, it’ll fit right in the front pocket of my jeans.
I’d love to try the Pro, but I love the option to use the little mag, medium 13 round or the 15 for a full size grip.
I would watch you review almost anything. That was informative, interesting and hilarious.
You sold me colion I just bought one of these today after being a die hard glock guy for years now it really is the perfect professional ccw gun I absolutely love this thing and this is coming from a guy that said I’ll never carry anything but a Glock lol
Ditto!
Why not keep the grip the same, add the barrel length and let me choose if i want to conceal better with the flush fit or keep the 15 rounder in it. Its the grip that prints
Exactly.
Shield plus 4” performance center does it right.
Bet they release that next. I figured it would have came out before this one.
Sig Sauer's versatility allows you to create a multitude of combinations. All p365 and p365xl parts are interchangeable, and therefore, you customize your grip size, barrel size, and mag capacity.
Do you carry 3 o-clock/strong side? I think with appendix and a good holster, it won't print.
@@mattdion2148 I built my own 365X by putting an XL grip module on my 365 but I wish there were grip choices similar to what the the 320 offers. I have relatively small hands but would appreciate a bit more girth in the grip of the 365.
Your take one the trigger is 100% how I was trying to explain why the Hellcat OSP is so crisp and nice to pew.
Their 13/15rnd mags have resolved the grip issue with the 11rnd mag that makes the pinky dangle.
Also made my purchase last year where they had a promo giving a range bag 3 new mags (2x 15rnd 1x 13rnd) in total giving me 5 mags for this epic comfortable accurate and satisfying gun.
Just found your channel and immediately subscribed. Love your rapid firing of multiple steel targets. Great job on this review
I have the hellcat pro and I love it a lot 😩
I did a lot of deliberating when deciding on which micro 9mm I was going to buy. I decided on the origin Hellcat because it was the smallest pistol considering that it held more rounds than any other micro straight from the factory. I wanted the smallest possible gun with a large capacity. I chose the Hellcat over the Sig P365 because it was roughly the same size but it had a higher capacity from the manufacturer and Sig has a proprietary rail on the front which limits which lasers, lights, etc. that are compatible with the gun. My original Hellcat also has 15 rounds magazines and I have them, but I usually carry it with the 11 round flush mag or 13 round magazine.
This PRO seems to be Springfield's version of the Sig P365X and XL. For me, the idea of a micro 9mm was just that, for it to be micro. The original pistol held 11 or 13 rounds but has 15 round magazines available and is extremely concealable. If I wanted a pistol that was larger I would have bought a bigger pistol to begin with. What was said about the trigger and controls being deliberate is spot on and is one of the many reasons this gun is fantastic.
my thoughts exactly. that's why I bought the Heckcat in the first place

That’s the same thing I felt with my FN 9c .. I loved the look .. I shot it.. kept shooting.. and I fell in love how smooth it felt
Got my Hellcat Pro coming in FDE….can’t wait, thank you for the great review.
Shot my hellcat pro for the first time today. Been a while since I owned or shot a subcompact. Snappy at first, as all these are, but I did the CN thing and just shot it and shot it. Finally after 180 fast rounds, it felt better. Then I shot my primary EDC, Staccato C2. Going from the HC Pro to the Staccato made me appreciate the C2 that much more. Obviously I understand the utilization of each. The C2 will continue to be my primary EDC, but when I require a smaller firearm for whatever reason, the HC Pro will be it. Appreciate all your videos
Just when I've started saving up for the 365XL Spectre Comp you gotta go muddy the waters, thanks!
Colin, thanks for doing this video, it was like you made it to help me make my decision over getting the 365XL or the Hellcat Pro , I now carry a 43X n love it but it’s time for me to get something new !! After each Hellcat Pro video I lean a little more towards the Pro !!! Thanks for your valuable information that left me feeling more positive, next is to see how it feels !! Thanks for a great, perfect video for me today !!!! Keep being real !!! Patrick from Commy Ct. 😷💥💥💥💥🔫
I just recently picked up the HELLCAT PRO. absolutely stunning firearm
So basically the Hellcat pro is what the Sig P365XL is to the P365. Just a little bit big bigger gun with more capacity. Nothing wrong there. I love my P365XL and I'm not even a fan of 9MM
Yo same. I was thinking that as well. Thing looks just like the sig
Yep 😉
Hellcat still looks like doodoo. The p365 and xl look so much more refined, that's why they are still top of the class in my mind
@Mike H yes along with everything else it brings to the table.
@@maddog7012 As I talked to a guy at the gun counter he simply said put both in your hand & you know which one to buy....the P365 wins it has a far more quality feel & finish.
How it started: Buy our Hellcat, it's smaller and easier to carry than a G19!
How it's going: Our Hellcat is a G19 now.
🤣
Still easier to carry lmao
I’ve gone from The G19, G43, G48 Mos , p356XL, and guess what, sold um all and still carry the G19 or the G17 on occasion. There is just no comparison for how much more control , speed and accuracy advantage the G19 has over any of these micro’s. Yes they are more comfortable but I’ll comprise for the added advantage the G19 gives me.

For self defense: sigp35xl is king of 9mm
For combat: g19 is king of 9mm
Can't carry at work which is why the Hellcat is my summer work carry. I need maximum concealment. Everything else is a P10c. CZ, Glock, Sig, whatever your preference that G19 size seems to be the best of all worlds.
The reason I went with the Sig 365 XL is because the Hellcat was just a little to small and the 365 XL was spot on. I will check out the Hellcat Pro when they come on the market. I have seen some bad reviews on Wasp when they first came out.
Just picked up one of these from Bud's Guns in Kentucky and I absolutely love it! Mine didn't come with an optic so getting ready to add one, I've carried a Glock 19 for several years now and this is going in to the CCW rotation.
I'm not a Springfield fan. There are a ton of better handguns out there that I would either waste my money on or prefer to carry... but with that being said, this is a pistol I'd go out of my way to check out. Thanks for sharing brother; love your videos.
I love the original Hellcat but now I think I need to find a Hellcat pro.
I think this video is what's sending me more towards this weapon vs the S&M M&P9 PC, the "only doing what you tell it to and being very deliberate" is a very important thing to me
Always love your videos!! I have the Sig P365 first version and have been seriously thinking of trading for a hellcat. Like the red dot optic which mine doesn’t have. Like the slightly longer grip which mine doesn’t have and is hard for me to gain a good grip. I’m not a small guy and not a big guy. A slightly chunky medium guy and the 365 conceals well. But looking at the hellcat I might be able to pull it off. Thanks for another great video! Keep up the great content!!
“This stupid wasp!” 😂
I shot a hellcat last week. Nice arm but I prefer my Performance Center Shield.
damn good reviews as always man, you make it easy to narrow down our options.
I just bought one.. I've watched tons of videos on it... Yours is the best.
Thinking this vs Arex Delta M. They both converge on a similar size, one being a stretched micro and the other being basically a Glock 19 minus all the fat.
Agreed, its probably my next firearm and I can't wait
I own the original Hellcat, and like the 13 round mag best, as it is a great summer carry. I then opted to get something a little bigger, but still wanted small to big flexibility, so I picked up a CZ P-10 S, and bought a couple extra mags with extended base plates to get 14 rounds. Better shooter IMHO. Worth the money.
However, I just picked up the Arex Delta M Gen 2 in Gun Smoke Gray, and had it a couple months now.
Wow is it impressive. Thin as the original Hellcat, and nearly as light with the 15 round mag. It's also optic ready with plates included. Fits my CZ P-10 S holsters.
I got mine for $441 after taxes.
And after hearing the Hellcat Pro has MSRP of $634, without the Hex Wasp optic 😬, makes me feel like I clearly picked a winner.
This Hellcat Pro is nice, but it'll be going for $700 soon. $1000 with the Wasp.
I'll wait.
@@roguemaster007 Yeah, when James Reeves from TFBTV did the walk through of the Arex factory then reviewed the Delta I was pretty much sold
To be honest, in terms of concealment, I still prefer the original compact because it filled a specific role. I could pocket it or wear it in a holster when my clothes are a little too tight/form fitting. It is so small and light, yet the capacity is amazing. I understand the philosophy of the Pro version. Meant to still be comfortable for full size hands and basically act as a full size gun that is easier to conceal than a G19/M&P 2.0/P-10C. But it means it is no longer a practical pocket gun. Personally, the standard 11 round mag with the pinky extention base plate fixed the issue of not having a long enough grip, while still keeping the grip very short. However, I might consider replacing my M&P 2.0c with the Pro for carry since it is just slightly more concealable. But I am not entirely sold on it. I am a big guy, so an M&P 2.0c conceals pretty easy for me and fills my hand very nicely. I believe this pistol is worth buying if you have smaller hands or if don't already have a full sized pistol for concealment. I do believe this is a good pistol for Springfield to produce. I just wish I had a role for it to fill.
I got my concealed permit a couple years ago. Gun shopping was a must after that. I went to look at Glocks and the guy asked if I had seen the Hellcat. I said no so he handed me one. The grip fit my hand perfectly. The texture is awesome too. I never did buy that glock. Now the glocks just feel awkward to me. Can't wait to check out the new Hellcat.
I had a feeling this was coming, especially after the release of the 15 round mags. I won't be trading in my Hellcat for a pro to just and a little barrel length.
I kept my original Hellcat and also bought the Hellcat Pro. The Hellcat Pro is perfection.
Wait, you can trade in guns...?
@@bigrocc3925 Yeah, in Wisconsin my LGS does. They also do consignment if you don't want to sell it or trade it to them.
I don't get it...the OG Hellcat is super small, easy to conceal (bought mine because Phoenix demands shorts and t-shirts) but has optional magazines to extend the grip length...this gun doesn't give you that option so what is the benefit? An extra inch on the barrel while being harder to conceal? I don't know much about guns and I'm confused by the trend of companies making micro subcompacts and then releasing Glock 19 sized versions of the same gun...help me understand
I'm with you on this one. I just got a larger capacity magazine for my Hellcat so I have a better grip on it. That's all I needed with the option to go with a shorter magazine if I want.
Ya why not just make an x version? I don't think we need this size. It's just being greedy at this point. Make one for people with larger hands that we can conceal.
Hello from a fellow CCW'er who also calls Phoenix home.
I carry a Shield Plus for your same points and here in AZ, that's about the limit in size for our year round wear.
💰😑
Well from the Sunshine state of Florida, where it shorts and Tees most of the time. These baby 9s as I call them are much small than a Glick 19 at least the one I have. First I really don't like a 9mm for CCW, never have and never will. I do like the baby 9s just because they are small. But I didn't like the Hellcat because I will not own a gun if my finger hangs off the end of the grip, mag or no mag. I went with the Sig 365 Xl for that reason. I shouldn't need a mag to make the gun fit my hand. I understand it come down to what a person likes and doesn't. I am just one that doesn't like a gun to small with mag / no mag to fit my hand. With the 365 XL 15 round stander mag and a 20 round back mag I can carry with ease and it fits my hand the way I like it. I would love to be able to carry my new S&W 10mm but size does matter unless it's cold and in need of coat, jacket or outer wear to cover it.
Been following you on Instagram for a while and have always enjoyed your posts. Thanks to a discussion with my guy at the gun shop this afternoon, he recommended the Hellcat. I held it as he walked me through his rationale. And of course, I’ve been hunting RUclips for reviews on the same. This post by you sealed the deal. You have a distinct talent to connect with people on multiple levels. Headed back to the shop soon to close the deal. Thanks much. Keep the faith.
I bought mine last week. I cant wait to hit the range~! I love the feel of the gun, and it is so concealable !!!!
I like my original hellcat. Fits my hands well with the 13 round mag. May consider this one in the near future. Great video by the way.
I need to shoot one of these, I think I’ll enjoy it much more than the original. Just like the 365 the original hellcat was just too small in hand for me but the looks caught my attention. Can’t wait to test one out
Just buy a hellcat osp with the 15rd mags. It’s basically the same gun but you have the option to use the smaller mags for a smaller size.
I absolutely hate the hellcat. I’m also 6’6 with huge hands. G19 is as small as I go. Awesome review and great highlights from someone who shoots for a purpose. I’ll give this one a try.
Exact same problem. (And finding jeans and shirts that fit for more than 1 washing machine trip) I settled on a M&P 9C with a hyve mag extender for edc. Double stack and it doesn't FEEL like a compact to me. doesnt shoot like one either. I can tell the barrel is shorter than ideal for any legit range shots. But she handles it well. I went and decided I was going to swap to their full size 10mm because I just don't like the confidence @ medium to extended pistol range I get with the 9C. The original hellcat literally dissapears in my palm. I could almost do a dissapearing sidearm magic trick with it lol. Picked it up... quickly dropped it back on the counter. Anyone know if the PRO has the same short barrel as the original?
@@notyouraveragegoldenpotato Pro barrel is 3.7 inch but the overall length is 6.6" vs the original barrel length being 3" but overall length being 6".
Not everyone can manage the Hellcat, I admire your candor. If you have absolute hate for the Hellcat, you had to have purchased it without first fitting it to you hand. Hate cause you were outdone by a small yet effective and well respected firearm, should teach you about yourself.
Yeah I went with a SIG for a CCW. I have the same problem the hellcat is just to small for my hands.
@@tmac909 If the gun is too small for your hands, it means you are a larger person and can thus conceal a larger gun more easily. I think these micro compacts are made for very thin and short people(like myself).
Very much enjoy your videos man. They're informative but very entertaining. Subscribed
Going to look into one of these. Love my G43x, but I also love buying and shooting all kinds of new ones. Lol.
Keep it up sir!
The Hellcat is the most traded in pistol at my LGS. Maybe this update can change that.
yep that micro hellcat is circulated a lot here in cfo
I have the original Hellcat and some 15rnd magazines with the grip extension.
It's a snappy little b*tch. Even with the Apex trigger installed, it's neither a speedy gun nor accurate at 25m.
But it's still a very capable gun at self defense range and comfortable to carry. With the capacity it's still beyond anything that there was before.
I agree snappy little bitch, but yeah shooting past 25 yards F'get about it! Need a longer barrel for that.
Snappy as hell. Shit tore my hands up. Glad I wasn’t the only one haha
@@braden8390 I shot my friends 40 caliber Glock and my 9mm Hellcat back to back and I felt like the recoil was very close, the spring setup makes it kick very hard. Most people mentioned that it's one of the harder guns to shoot when compared to the competition.
Not accurate past 25m?? 😂 I promise you the gun is more accurate than you or I could ever be. You can hit targets out to 100m/yrds as long as you can do the work. So its not that the gun is not accurate out to 25m/yrds, it's just that you need more training with the gun so you can make hits at that distance.
Have a original Hellcat and I like it but definitely prefer shooting my Glock 43x more.
