I love it, all the birds at Busch started cheering when they heard “new cages!” My bro has several Suncatcher cages and says they’re excellent. Parts of his pool screen enclosure blew away on several occasions but the Suncatcher enclosures for his monitors and parrots have withstood several hurricanes unscathed! He also poured foundations for better security btw.

I HIGHLY recommend customcages. I've had mine for 2 years now, and it fabulous. Cabinet,enclosure & hood. 4'x4'x8'. Awesome customer service. 👏 😊❤

Dude I just added an Asian Water Monitor to my collection, hes only a few months old, but we are quickly socializing and training him. Hoping to have a wonderful boy like Slinky in the end. Thanks for all the motivation and education over the years. Take it easy brother!

Perhaps not for the public but private European hobbyists are lightyears ahead with keeping animals in captivity; reptiles, birds, fish, etc, etc. Everyone I know in Germany, Italy & other European countries are dead serious & practice animal husbandry with cutting edge tech & products. I’ve learned a lot from them.

These "behind the scenes" videos are really interesting. Listening to the banter reinforces how much consideration needs to go into the enclosures' planning. Taking on an animal's welfare is a HUGE responsibility and commitment. Nice to know that there are experienced, knowledgeable professionals to turn to.
I agree... the planning is SO important to the wellbeing of the animals and Kenan lets us witness that planning !

Will be interesting to see everything once it is done both at Busch Wildlife and Kamp Kenan. Your yard is really looking more and more like a wildlife park. I know it’s your home, but have you ever considered opening a facility offsite? You do a lot for education and preservation, so it would be a logical next step. Getting closer and closer to when I’ll be leaving the North for good. You’ll be within driving distance at that point, but wouldn’t want to disturb you and your family at home. Having something public might be the way to go. I’d definitely visit.
Until then, I’ll keep watching and liking your content on RUclips.

Deer camp kenan, I don't know if there's anything you or any of your followers can do but there is a turtle rescue in otter Creek Florida that have had a lot of tortoise and turtle deaths lately and quite a few that are injured. The people running the place have no idea how to take care of their precious turtles. They have dirty stagnant water for the turtles and I don't even think they have fresh water for their own consumption. Is there anybody you know that could investigate this rescue facility? These people are begging for donations and when they receive them it doesn't look like it's being used for the facility. I don't even think the turtles and tortoises even have food. I have watched your channel from day one and admire your facility and the way you keep your reptiles. You are so knowledgeable in everything that you do for your reptiles. I think these people are pulling a scam on legit reptile lovers. Keep up your great work and the new cages for Bush looks great. Thank you for everything you do!

With building an enclosure (roof) around a tree, how would you account for growth of the tree in the years to come?
We built a chicken coop around a tree, the movement of the tree in the wind was the biggest problem. As the tree swayed back and forth it damaged the wire screen. A predator was able to get in...didn't end well for the poor chickens

Hello. If you're showing your animals wear the right shoes.
"Let's us out, gosh darn it," they all screamed in union. I'm all for keeping wild animals as pets, for the most part, but big birds of prey in cages, even ones as large as those? Idk. Not large at all, when you're a raptor species. Seems uncool.
