    That plant you pulled out is called pinecone ginger. Its native to Southeast Asia and has been widely cultivated in warm and humid places around the world. The cone is actually a tight cluster of bracts from which the plant's teeny white flowers emerge. They can also be hung upside down and dried for arrangements. And if you squeeze the cone, it should produces a slime that some people use for cosmetic treatment.

    I'm so sorry about the baby rhino. When I do rescue on animals that are sick, I tend to not name them until I think they're well on the way to recovery. You always lose some, it goes with the territory. I find comfort in knowing that in an animal's last days it was warm, fed, and loved. Whether they live a few hours, a day, a week, I really do believe that even that small amount of time is a great kindness.

    That plant is: 🌿🫚 Zingiber zerumbet is a species of plant in the ginger family with leafy stems growing to about 1.2 m (3.9 ft) tall. It originates from Asia, but can be found in many tropical countries. Common names include: awapuhi (from Hawaiian: ʻawapuhi spelled with an ʻokina, doublet of ʻawa), bitter ginger, shampoo ginger, lempoyang (from Malay) and pinecone ginger…. AWESOME interesting plant and yes easy to pull out and replant ✨ great job Kenan✨🌿🧙‍♂️🐉

      I believe and as Kenan said over 8 years ago on his first couple of videos: there's a lot of Invasive plants and animals living in Florida: from jaguars literally swimming from South America to Florida and back again, to rats, fire ants, giant basilisk lizards, Anoles and of course.. when birds fly over your property and drop seeds from their mouths or butts lol.. that's why you have Asian, India, African, south american even European plant flowering trees, bushes and shrubs growing invasively across the North American Continent

    @saflip969 10 месяцев назад

    Fyi, is it possible that you may have over fed that baby reptile? Maybe too soon to have given it a full stomach after you had helped it hatch out of its molded shell (???)
    Side note: it always satisfying to see Kenan and Matt working together to make sure all the animals are being taken care of.
    Kenan always makes it a priority that the animal has all requirements and comfortable enclosure that the reptile needs to help thrive in his backyard! Spoiling them all with the space they all deserve and the nutritions that their body needs to help them all grow and live the happiest life. That is the key to a healthier lifestyle moving forward. Mimicking nature is a hard thing to accomplish and Kenan does an Excellent job! One of the Best, if not, The Best out there! 💯💯
    Thank you for all you do and educating everyone who has riptiles or any animals in general in how to keep a happy life for the animal in an enclosure. How to Properly take care of these wild majestic reptiles or any animal in general is a hard task to fulfill, especially maintaining them day in and day out as they all age and mature. He provides his animals the upgrades they all need before it becomes a problem.
    Remembering that the animals are in an enclosure and they aren't able to adventure out, like they do in the wild to find their next upgraded new home when they need to. Kenan stays on top of it! That's very rare to find. These animals are lucky to have him 💫

He was starved close to death in the egg. Thanks for the way you care for your animals, very few go as far as you do to give them as close to a natural habitat, and variety of food, that you do.

Then one of them was tossed up to cling onto the wall and act as an anchor for the man to climb up. When he drew even with the lizard the man would toss up the second monitor so that alternating monitors they scaled the wall. I would guess that this means they were socialized and tamed because who wants to be harnessed to a wild monitor?

    Are you sure you want the water so close to the hide and the heating pad?

      Those pads make me a little nervous. I use them on the outside of some enclosures, they get HOT🔥

    Oh, I had high hopes for the baby! These things happen. Before my husband died we lived on the family farm and loss is always hard. We had an exciting video to watch today but, it’s going to be worth it. You can really see them and they are so big and beautiful! Give Matt a big high for all of us who follow all your adventures.
