I got addicted to you and your comments on Dimash, I simply agree 100% with what you saying, and it drives me mad that not everyone sees it. Terry Lin was the first to fully appreciate Dimash's gift, and there is a great video when they sing this song together backstage, for fun. Have not seen anything warmer, just a treat.

Unforgettable Day was composed by Dimash & he had the lyrics written in Kazakh & Chinese. If you really want to know, watch all of Dimash's performances on I Am Singer. Dimash was away from home alone for the first time & they all took him under their wings & called him foreign little brother. Except the connection was stronger with & they ended up calling each other father & son. They are still close to this day. Terry Lin would be the first to say Dimash is much better singer than him. You know how humble Dimash is. He really does not like anyone comparing anybody. Especially him. Backstage at the show, Terry tries to compliment Dimash & with every praise Dimash sank further & further & covered his head. So cute. Terri Lin is a famous & award winning singer from Taiwan. He doesn't always sing so calmly. Check him out on same show. You know Dimash came out of the womb wanting to be the best he could be & please his audience. Even though we think he has achieved that goal, he just strives to get better. He didn't wake up with an 8 octave vocal range. That took many, many hours & years of hard work. He still takes lessons & practices everyday. Half the time I have no idea what the words mean, but he sure makes me feel them. Love to watch his face & neck, too. The song with DJ Burak Yeter is The Weekend. You can only get fancam. There are several. Pick the one with lyrics that say "Popping bottles backstage". He gets his dance on. Opera 2 is a great song & Dimash really puts on quite a performance. I'm sure I've said enough. He's so fine. 🔥

I Luv Terry Lin's performance - he & Dimash voices fit perfectly together for very much the same reason Dimash & Lara Fabian sound so great together...... like Lara, Terry Lin's tonality & power in that middle range A3 thru F4 is so consistent & resonant it gives Dimash a strong consistent line to contrast his Vocal fireworks & it just fits perfectly & highlights their great ability
Dimash and his friend, Terry Lin, have remained very close friends since 2017, and see each other as often as they can. I love this duet, and appreciate the differences in their voices. Jackie Chan, who is also a close friend of Dimash, invited him and Terry (Papa) Lin to sing at this event, which was in honor of Jackie Chan (who is also a very accomplished singer). You always make me laugh with your observations about fashion. Dimash is very intense and to be honest once he starts singing, he would look fashionable in a potato sack. Terry Lin was super popular in China long before Dimash met him on the Singer. 🥰🇨🇦

Terry Lin is 56 and a famous singer in his own right. Him and Dimash met on the Chinese show singer and became very close. He acted like a dad to Dimash. Dimash thinks very highly of him. Terry invited Dimash to sing with him on this occasion. It’s hard to compare Dimash to anyone and I know you meant no disrespect but I think Dimash would be upset about the remarks concerning terry. Though Dimash is amazing other singers have their strengths and don’t need to be compared You can praise a singer without putting another down. Again, I know the point you were trying to make but I think just noting the passion on dimash’s face was enough I always enjoy you’re reactions and of course this was just my opinion. I really like Terry, he has been and is a huge mentor and supporter of Dimash....he even surprised Dimash during one of DQ's recording sessions and delivered a birthday cake and sang happy birthday to Diamsh. They are very close friends. Terry is HUGE in China, he is a very kind and warm hearted man and friend for Dimash!! BUT I agree 100%. When Dimash sings it simply ooozzzes and pours and explodes out of the very depths of his soul. I never EVER get moved to tears by other singers no matter how "great", but I can not help or stop my heart and eyes from welling up when Dimash sings.....he just "hits" you as you say, in a much deeper way and a large part of that is his body language and emotive facial expressions....... ❤🔥

But you should know that Terry Lyn, being able to match almost every high note with Dimash, is twice TWICE as old. I think he is 57 or older. The man is Dimash's father as far as age is concerned. That's why Dimash has so much respect for Terry Lin. I hope and wish that Dimash will sing as well when he is that age. There is a nice little anecdote about the relationship between Dimash and Terry Lin. When Dimash performed at The Singer in 2017, a fellow singer said: "Oh, he looks like Terry Lin". A few weeks later, Terry also came to The Singer and the others joked that Terry could be Dimash's father. Dimash joined in the fun, greeting Terry with "Papa", and that stuck. The two are good friends to this day.

People were jocking that Dimash looks like him a bit, so Dimash said Terri will be his adopted father😃 as Terry is a quite much older (in his 50s).
