DIY and Tool reviews
I’ve got 2 of the Fluke ones,(one for work, one for home/spare) I was a bit shocked that they’d gone up to £20 on special so I’ve probably had mine a while! 😳 The work one has seen a lot of use as I was a fork truck engineer till a few years ago, so working on battery chargers & their installations a lot, both single & 3-phase. Very simple & sturdy, though it looks like things have moved on a bit. It would be handy to have the audible confirmation, which the Fluke lacks.

They always assume our charger ‘is crap’ first! It does a two stage voltage warning, blue is proximity to live, red is on it/very close. The sensitivity is on the side of the tip too, so care is needed, but then it is electricity, so….
