I prowl the city streets in search of dumpster loot, curbside treasures & scrap metal as well as scour the river bottoms for lost valuables during the summer months when I can scrounge up enough money for gas. What music? Is this a case of you are putting out music that I cannot hear. No, I've got the music turned off at this time. Hearing it without putting it on, would be cool. Hey, I'm suddenly hearing a brassy orchestration, ah just a smigen. No really there is an orchestra; music, I don't know from what, but it is a fuge. You work a fuge, a rattelsome effort; assessing en route. After your fuge you sit back , exhale thoroughly and declare, "it's all right"? Tell us about it, slow tho, as it comes.
Queue the music! BTW, be sure to do your stretching before the evening begins.

Hay Mike have you ever showed you taking apart a oxygen machine or what you do with them. You get so many and I would love to see what you do with them.
Is the whole thing metal or is that rod coming out of the stainless just curious our scrap went down today at 6 25 per 100 lb it was almost at $11 per 100 lb but in the last two or three weeks this went down thought I was going to stay up higher since we're not getting a lot of our medals from Russia right now
All those magnets would be great for someone starting out magnet fishing. Great Job Mike!!!
No they wouldnt. They are barely strong enough to pick up themselves. Would be a waste to try fishing with them. Not to mention the polarity is on the outer ring and not focused on the bottom.

Mike I usually keep a small pipe cutter in the truck with me I cut the long pieces to fit so I can pack the truck to the max.

Hi Mike, I have one word for you and I hope you take notice "SERIOUSLY" !! KNEES !! take care of them.. At the rate you jump out of dumpsters your knees won't make it past 10 years tops and then you'll be finding it hard to even walk or stand for any length of time if at all. You're not getting any younger and you punish your knees regularly they won't take a whole lot more of that.
You can ignore what I've said or get smart and work smarter if you don't you'll want to save one of those walking frames for yourself you find every so often.

In the big blue dumpster you had brand new boxes of stuff that you never even opened to see what they were !!!
Those upside down machines are great. Couple minutes a day will save your back. Been doing mine for6yrs now. And they wanted to cut me. No thank you. Great haul today.

The aluminum conduit is called emt for electro metallic tubing. The other steel conduit is called ridgid conduit. They didn't have aluminum bx cable when I went to school for it.

Mike did you look in the super micro boxes that were in the open top? They sell computer components cern rack type stuff. The sound bar usually have small remote. The instructions might of been something to keep.

That sound bar is one of those "White Van" Scam products. Dirt cheap chinese crap that they put lead weights inside of to make it feel heavy/quality.
Lead has good scrap value.

I've been curious to know why don't you recycle the aluminum cans as well when you see them? They aren't supposed to be In the garbage either.
He leaves them behind for the next scrapper.
Their bulk, and the time necessary to bag them isn't the best investment for the return.
He doesnt like the stinky, sticky cans, so he leaves them.

@@juliealbert9222 plus i think California is the only state that charges a CRV. But they pay really well for cans and even plastic bottles. I have recycles them for yrs growing up there. Most states don’t pay much to recycle them. So, here in Az, i don’t do it anymore. Its a bummer cuz it was so fun collecting cans and stuff.

Those small plastic tubes in the first dumpster are fuel filler inserts that probably were part of a huge recall

Love your positively. I'm an old man now but use to do what you're doing now.
You hustle you can make a petty good side money with this and if possible... save every dollar you can for your later years. Like my dad would say save as much as you can whenever you can. If you're fortunate... you'll live a long life you don't want to out live your money. Keep it up ole man. You look like you're having a great time an keep that positive attitude. You may not know this but you're up beat positive attitude affects others in the same way, puts a smile on the faces of those around you and brightens up there day.
