According to clan Bruja. Destroyed by evil clan Ventru and their Roman minions. This "version" of History has prevailed over all others in my memory. I must admit.

I started building the city in my Wip knowing I wanted a complex political structure which had certain elite families holding political power due to their magical abilities but still allow everyday citizens with less magical prowess to have a balancing political power. Guess I was building Carthage

Carthage was a fascinating city :D You could do a lot worse as a model for a city state!
