There is a whole choir who sings that church vocals. My favorite black metal band. Check out "Mgła" band also.

    The Lyrics to the song:
    English:
    (Litany I: Purification)
He has helped his servant Israel,
    Remembering to be merciful,
Аs He promised to our fathers,
    to Abraham and his descendants1.

I will have mercy on you,
    According to My unfailing love;
    According to My great compassion
I will blot out your transgressions.

I will [manifoldly] wash away all your iniquity
And cleanse you (Forever Hallelujah!) from your sin.

He has helped his servant Israel,
    remembering to be merciful [x4]

For I know your transgressions, and your sin
    Is always before you.
I am the only one who reigns2
And you have done what is evil in My sight
So I am right in My (Forever Hallelujah!) verdict.

(He has helped his servant Israel)
    And justified when you judge.
    (Remembering to be merciful [x2])
    And justified when I judge.

(For to Me belong all glory, honor, and worship,
now and forever and to the ages of ages)3.
And justified when I judge you.

(For to Me belong all glory, honor, and worship,
now and forever and to the ages of ages)

    Amen!

    Let your soul praise,
Me, your Lord (Yet you desired faithfulness),
    Praise (in that secret place)
Me, the Lord (I taught you).
    (Wisdom)4.

Surely you was sinful at birth,
Sinful from the time your mother conceived you.

2.I'm not sure about this one, since I have no idea if lyrics is correct in this part. I haven't find these words in the Bible either.

    4.Psalm 51 and Psalm 102 mixed together.
    Original Lyrics:
    Ектения I: Очищение

I saw their live performance in Warsaw in 2018, it was amazing. They played before Behemoth

the choral vocals are done by the band. On this album they were recorded by Bartłomej "Bart" Krysiuk and Krzyszrof "Derph" Drabikowski. Bart also did the harsh vocals, Derph handled the guitars and bass. The opening chant was done by Derph
The lyrics on this album are adapted from the Liturgy of St John Chrysostom albeit modified, they're sung in Church Slavonic, the liturgical language of the Eastern Orthodox Church.
When the band play live, they utilise a choir, usually around 3, sometimes 4 vocalists for that role

Didn't know that Derph did also opening chant, this guy is incredible

@@syntezjaofficial4240 well it now seems entirely plausible that it may have been a sample.
Derph himself does sing and has been part of thr choir for thr panihida shows, but maybe he sampled this part of the song.

The vocals were recorded by Krzysztof Drabikowski (background choir), Patrick Żimeer (lead choir), and Bartek Krysiuk (screaming). The live choir employed 6 people, with 3 on stage, and who they were was depending on the tour and availability. Everything is original with no samples.

@@rnwtn did Patryk record Litourgiya? I know he did Panihida.
The leading clean voice sounds like Bart most of the time.

    • @rnwtn
      @rnwtn 7 дней назад +1

@Maggot91ify well, I'm not clear on every detail, but Patrick did record on Litourgiya. Krzysztof said he (himself) did some vocals, and Patrick did the choir parts. I think Patrick probably did some dual harmonies to make it sound like a full choir, so that is what i meant by lead choir. Bart did the screaming and lead clean vocal parts that are solo cleans and not choir parts, such as the bridge in Yekteniya II and IV, for example, or the "spashu vas" chant in III. Krzysztof said he (himself) recorded the intro vocal on Yekteniya I, but it sounds like Bart to me. I personally think Bart ended up doing that on the record, but Krzysztof did it during the demo, before hiring others. I think Krzysztof probably takes the credit for it, because nothing was properly credited on the album.

they use the original Orthodox chants as a base, some texts are the original services in Old-Slavic, fans still argue are they Orthodox or just trolling) Poland is mostly Catholic...

3:03 I think it was a sample used here, because I've seen a video with orthodox choir singing some religious psalm and it sounded the same, like 100%
Check the video called "Śpiew prawosławnego chóru.-Pieśń 1", especially 2:10 of that video. Sounds the same like the beginning of this track. I mean, it REALLY does

    • @Maggot91ify
      @Maggot91ify 7 дней назад

@@neckbreaker094 you've certainly given food for thought
I've checked it out and it does sound near identical. Tbqh I've always wondered was that part a sample, something about how it sounded and felt. Hard to articulate
Although it's a little hard to tell but there may be a slight difference right at the end of that section. Although that could just be the fact thsy the music really kicks in for Yekteniya 1 and thus becomes harder to hear the voice.
So it's either a really good initiation or a sample. I know Derph has used some vocal samples, mainly the opening choir singing the trisagion on Pecn' 4.
The female voices on Litourgiya and Panihida could be samples but I've been told they were done by Derph's wife Anna.

They are not satanic. They sing hymns and prayers in old slavic eastern orthodox style. Although Poland is exceptionally catholic, they are going for the eastern orthodox style.

My favorite Yektenya 2, but there is no normal reaction anywhere, because everyone reacts to the live performance of 2007 with a bad sound. I really hope that you will make a reaction to the entire liturgy album.
