As a midwife, I will stop everything to watch a RUclips family have a baby. And as a soon-to-be yurt dweller, I love seeing how everything came together.
I'm watching this 6 months later and truly enjoying your birth story! I'm a traditional midwife/community herbalist and work in a birth center here in Oregon. So glad you had a wonderful experience! Congratulations! I'm loving watching your yurt build journey too! Blessings!
@@Green_Heart_Family_Farm We saw that gorgeous little baby! My hubby and I watched several of your videos because we're going to simplify our lives with a yurt. We love having these references by people who have "been there, done that". So helpful!
Hey Jarvis and Fam. I am trying to go back in time and see what you did for lighting in your bedroom.I am about to build a room in my yurt and yours is a big inspiration.
Hi! We just have a pair of lights above our bedroom window. It isn't much lighting, but we don't find that we need much lighting in the little bedroom. Possibly a bit of lighting near the closet would help, but we get by fine.
Congratulations on your new baby girl. I've been enjoying your Yurt construction and improvements. Thanks a ton for posting these videos as they're giving me a ton of ideas.
Awwww 💜💜💜 congratulations on baby Ivy! And Happy Birthday Tina! And Jarvis is right you are a Super Star! You guys had an awesome 2020 and ended it with a bang! And Happy New Year's Eve Green Heart Family!!! Looking forward to what comes next!
I remember the song you sang with Arya and James: I (Arya) am 16, I (James) am 17, 18 is on the way... Now we should change the words: ...18 is finally here! We're so excited! Looking for a date to go see her - and the rest of you. God is so good!
The bottom of our yurt is sealed off tight enough that nothing the size of the mouse or snake can find a hole large enough to get in. I'm fairly confident of this, as we're past 2 years in the yurt and haven't had anything bigger than a bug get in! We also have a few cats on mouse patrol around and under the yurt.
@@natalie.n.palmer1556 A wooden platform is constructed that serves as the foundation and the floor. The fabric interfaces quite tightly against the side of that foundation. We made a few videos during the days that the yurt was installed; watching Day 1 and Day 2 would let you see the details: ruclips.net/video/n0xngWakMDw/видео.html

A year old now.. how time flies...
Yes it does! Ivy is a happy, healthy 1 year old :)
Who many $/£ for just the yurt? And very clever done at all 👍🥰🇩🇰🇩🇰🇩🇰🇩🇰
Our 30ft yurt with added windows and other options was approximately $20,000 USD.
How do you keep out pests like mice and snakes?

Thank you. Is there a product used to seal the base of the tent or a technique? Sorry for all the questions
